Silver Crusade

I have read the scaling rules, and I may have missed it, but because solarians weapons do sort of scale with level...
can they still be scaled according to the enhanced rules?

Silver Crusade

I see similarities to the shaman, but with +bard stuff, I like it, I have thought previously, I wish I could inspire via bard stuff. I like it, reminds me of a Dr. Who episode.

Question on playtest info: Table 1: Cantors have verse at level 1, and at level 2? is this correct or a miss print?

Also, this seems like a support class, but missing lesser restoration, restoration, remove disease, and a few bard must haves, haste for one.

Silver Crusade

I am not even sure if this is possible, but looking to make a character that can craft/make traps and bombs, more control type, starting a level 1.

Thinking rogue, alchemist, or cleric, not sure if there is a better idea, theme wise, clever tinker gnome with gadgets and trinkets that are remote controlled or something similar.

Hook a fellow up with thoughts and ideas on how to.

Silver Crusade

Also, colorblind people may be missing 1-2 colors in a spectrum, but can still see most others, so there for, they still see color to be affected by mentioned spell.

Silver Crusade

Has this been addressed by Paizo yet, I will need a ruling for my DM on Thursday? Or is it still as written?

Silver Crusade

I love the fact the you have 0 diplomacy.

The question is, is this Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Robert Downey Jr. or Benedict Cumberbatch? I have watched the shows/movies, and read Hounds of Baskerville, and really only see Robert Downey Jr. fighting pugilist style in his movies...

Traits, non-mod related.

I have enjoyed your guide

Silver Crusade

I also love this class, and am running a heaven/life shaman of level 7, and concur with most what is posted, I have not played many different shaman types, or used archetypes, preferring the normal shaman.

playing a home game, I have asked if leadership and improved familiar would allow my pet to have character levels to work with.

I agree with Markov, Heaven should be Blue. Void adaptation is nice, not needing to breath!?!

Silver Crusade

Yip, I will have one next level, and was able to pick spells. I also plan to take leadership feat, and my GM is letting my faerie dragon also take levels of sorc, to cast buff spells on party.

Silver Crusade

I have made all of my toons based on silliness, but put out a warning when first starting a group, I have never understood the Min/Maxing, and op ness, I have made a Gnome druid work wonders, and loved it. I loved the you rolled a 12, 11, 11, 10, 12, 10, and made a shepherd(Ranger)

Warpriest Guide
Its my first guide so be honest about it. If there's anything to fix or major issues please feel free to mention it.

NOTE: I tried to air on the side of "It never works" on any questionable rules when writing the guide for all rules questions. (There are a fair number the ACG could have used another editing pass).

It is a good guide, helpful for a late career game. I was wondering though, why not post a S/S build using high crit weapons, and key off that? with the added damage as levels go up, one could use rapier/scimitar?

I have not played PF long, and have not tried a Warpriest yet, but I like the concept, I wouldn't mind seeing a versatile and simple build that a noob could make work.

Just my 2 cents.

Silver Crusade

As far as I can tell, they dispelled evil, and defeated all the haunts in the house, there for gaining the xp, but you do not have to give it to them all at once, give them a lot, but then have them do history checks to gain more as the realize they defeated more according to the houses history?

Silver Crusade

At level 5 you could take improved familiar and get yourself an baby earth elemental. Getting divine favor some how, would be nice for a melee flanking build, just get elemental for touch spells though the ground?

Silver Crusade

Sorry to seem a Noob, where does one find the spiked gear, I have searched though my books, I like the shield idea like Capt America, but can't find the spiked equipment.
Also, anyone responding, farmilier with herolabs PF hero build? how does one make a shield spike in that?

Silver Crusade

New question, old subject?
Level 6 magus, not sure of feats, saying he can cast shocking grasp pre combat(I know make him touch something , like shaking hands, besides that stuff) attack, burst, spellstrike, shocking grasp again? How long can one hold a spell? GM discretion?

Silver Crusade

My short test with a stone/life shaman, level 6, I had fun, but the touch should scale, maybe add a hinder effect, or rounds per level, aside the additional damage, or be able to choose added damage or hindered?

Loved having a familiar choose improved and picked earth elemental, he worked for some things, like touching spells! As a party buffer/healer it was useful to stay out of range, and have pet do the touching

Silver Crusade

I didn't really have much xp with the witch or the Oracle, I did have fun playing My shaman, with little quirks, he was stone/life with improved farmlier for the earth elemental, only problem I had with some of the abilities was the scaling on the acid touch and because he is a party buffer and enemy hinder, felt that a stone hex could/should be movement hindering.

I liked having a pet, and the elemental worked great! I miss a few spells in the spell list, but will have to make do, I do agree, that life also could use some healing love?
