Did anyone have a nice twist why the players should explore dreamgate at all? Is there any link I missed, but I think there is no explaination why the gate the players just unlocked leads by chance to the slavetraders they searched.

I think there are to options this can happen out:

1.) Players check Dreamgate first
2.) Players get in trouble with slavers first

Either way I don't see, how both plots connect.

I'm not quiet sure how the following actions work together:

I've got a ghost of a monk/sorcerer with the abilities to cast spells and to deliver touch attacks as melee attacks. The normal melee attack stats "touch attack +8 - 13d6".
In addition to that the ghost may cast vampiric touch, which would grant him a touch attack with the normal vampiric touch effect (in this case some what of 4d6, or something like that)

My question is, how those effects combine, if the ghost would cast vampiric touch and then meele-attack normaly. Rules say, that touch attacks, that aren't deliverd on the spot, will stay active, as long as no other spell is cast. so would the normal melee attack deliver 13d6 + 4d6 ?

Here are some possible combinations:

1: Cast "Vampiric touch" as a standard action, recieve a touch attack as a free action and deliver 13d6 normal dmg + 4d6 spell dmg

2: Cast "Vampiric touch" as a standard action, recieve a touch attack as a free action and deliver only 4d6 spell dmg

3: Have a active vampiric touch cast, attack in melee as a standard action and deliver 13d6 normal dmg + 4d6 spell dmg

4: Have a active vampiric touch cast, attack in melee as a standard action and deliver only 13d6 normal dmg

I'd appreciate your help!

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I didn't mean the "intensified spell". As Ravingdork was suggesting I ment the evoker class ability "intense spell" which applies extra damage whenever a evocationspell would deal damage.

Would MordredofFairy's interpretation still comply?

Hi Guys!

I play a evoker mage. Recently I had a discussion with my GM about the mechanics of the "intense spell" feat. Can anyone point out which rule-interpretation is right?

Here's the situation:

I'm level 10 and cast a wall of fire so that a single undead creature is in the line of effect. Here are the two versions of what happens.

My opinion: The wall deals 2d6+10+5 Dmg. Since the wall deals double dmg to undead creatures the final dmg=2*(2d6+10+5)=4d6+30

GM opinion: The wall deals 2d6+10+5 Dmg. Since the wall deals double dmg to undead creatures the final dmg=2*(2d6+10)+5=4d6+25.

Generaly: When does the "intens spell" bonus come into play?

Thanks ahead
