Michigan overturned the ban on gay marriage yesterday. The attorney general is trying to get a stay to fight it but monday might mark the first day of filing for licences. Judge made some good comments on it.

A feat from the Varisia sourcebook. It is so much fun flavor for a gypsy/harrower character, can you please reconsider allowing it in PFS. I really can see no reason to disallow it and would so much love to use it for a society character idea i have.

The skill description says you cannot tumble around opponents if your speed is reduced by me. or heavy load or armor. So if you are wearing armor but your speed is not reduced (dwarf for example) can you still tumble around?

Will the cloak of human guise work for tiefling or aasimars?

The new guide says you can carry one casting of it from module to module but can it be enchanted after the spell? if you enchant it do you still have to count it as your one carried over?

The rules for a first level retrain says you can change all aspects but number so can you change the name as well? If so how do you make it official?

So i was reading an article in Backwoods Home magazine and thought it made a lot of sense. An interesting way to deal with the housing market so messed up with people loosing houses and so many cheap houses in bank hands is for the gov to buy some of them and try a modern version of homesteading. Let folks apply to take one of these houses and if they live there and keep it in proper shape for 5 years they can keep it. Maybe with some small cost and maybe a contract to not sell for X years. People take better care of something they own than what they rent so we will have houses cared for instead of being empty bank owned squats and drug dens or rental property rotting with inhabitants that don't give a damn about it. Since a fair amount of people that would be able to use this program are already getting subsidized rent the cost would be low. What do you think?

I think we all are too quick in america to pick one political party or the other based on agreeing with some of the politics and end up compromising some of what we really believe. In this thread i would like us to talk about our political opinions with more depth than " im a (insert party here". What topics do you disagree with you own party over. This is not an attempt to argue over who has "superior" opinions or beliefs but a chance for us to explain what we stand for to better understand each other.

I am very pro gun but do believe in some rational gun control, like keeping them out of the hands of criminals and restricting full auto

I am pro death penalty. i believe in removing any great threat to the innocent however i do want better trials/ criteria to find someone guilty.

I am pro assisted suicide. How can you tell someone they HAVE to live in pain?

I am torn on abortion. It is killing potential human life but i cannot see legally forcing women to give birth (taking away control of her own body) and too hard to stop them from doing it anyway and risking injury

I am for religious freedom. I am also against forcing religion on others so i oppose school prayer and the like.

I am for legalizing drugs. Conversely i am against using them. I do not like the gov telling us what we can do to ourselves but still think it is dumb to wreck your brain.

So what are some of your views? Again please keep this civil, i really am more interested in us knowing the little details of each others opinions not proving who is right here.

Does a hand wearing a gauntlet, cestus or similar weapon count as a "free hand"? can you cast spells with the hand wearing them?

Ok, say a group of like minded investors bought an island large enough for a small nation and have entrusted YOU to build your own society and laws. Assuming a beginning population of say 50,000 looking to immediately immigrate, what laws and what kind of government do you create?

Are there any familiars legal for improved familiar outside of the core rule book? So many neat options i see in the bestiaries but are any legal?

Just how badly do the locals react to PCs that are the slightest bit unusual? The Players guide to carrion crown implies they are bad but how does it actually play out? Trying to pick a fun race/class combo without trying to screw over the whole party

Can a character have two divine casting classes with two different deities?

For those that insist everything can be redeemed and executions are evil, where do you put the bad guys? How about the incorporial, teleporting, just to friggin big and strong to cage? Who monitors and makes sure they remain locked up? How much time and what resources do you use to transport them?
And who is liable if they do it agian, and again and.......?
