I officially leave the game... Too slow alas, goodluck.

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

Pale Lothi cocks his bow and will fire at an enemy or if none are within range/sight hold his action until they do appear...

attack1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20, damage1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

Pale Lothi grins at Ahiko's rather pathetic attempt to play dead and decides to play a different tune...

My merry lad you look so sad, why don't you laugh for a while... After all the Baba Yaga loves a fool!

Casting Hideous Laughter on Ahiko's enemy, save dc 15

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

Nope, couldn't resist the E.T joke...

Lothi runs back and speaks, seems our boats have been cut free and we have had an invasion of little black men... They set the ship on fire, find the ulf and make ready to jump.

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

Lothi just seems to stay "put", he is eerily silent.

Lothi cast silent image to hide what he is doing...

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

I believe it may be wise for you all to stay here, I can make like a ghost and will be unseen and unheard by most foes...

Detecting Magic as well

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

On the fields of Irrisien blood is shed in rivers, as ice and fire war...

Inspire Courage 2+

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

Was thinking full retraining if possible, I remember ultimate Campaign did have retraining rules. Although whether or not I do so will depend on archetypes, Lothi's necromatic theme is what I seek to preserve. But I do think it will be good for the group as well, few casters lots of melee.

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

No, using Inspire Courage... GM with the upcoming ACG to be released can I change Lothi to a Skald once the paizo PRD has the Skald class on record? The change isn't going to be "certain" but will depend on whether or not it suits Lothi better then bard, may also change character stats with retraining if possible for a more melee type build.

Pale Lothi begins to sing a song of old...

On the snow covered fields a scarlet river flows, the blood of a thousand foes shed in a relentless torrent...

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

I am back but it will be sporadic...using library wi fi and a laptop...

Pale Lothi will use the invisibility spell and then move like pale lightning to get into the bottom of the ship.

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

GM I am going to be out of commission for a week it seems, the jackals of verizon struck again... Getting new internet connection, that is going to take at least a week unless I get real lucky... Bot me until then.

Once more death has taken its due...

I will compose a suitable ballad in her honor once the task before us is completed.

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

Pale Lothi awakens, his form suddenly invigorated by healing magic...

He wakes up groggily to the form of ahiko whose tears are flowing like rivers...Where is the clawed berserker?

Sorry kids...the joker role has already been taken... No other jokers need apply.

why do I get the feeling this character has bitten the dust...

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

Pale Lothi calmly knocks an arrow to his shortbow and fires at the crab... You hear a fierce battle-cry erupt from his throat...

Skewer it with arrows! That is lunch!

Lohti the Pale Kayaker... This is going to be interesting.

I be seeing a crab in the water, near that large bank of mist... Hmmm... Never had crab before anyone want to try grabbing it and frying ourselves a nice, tasty breakfast or brunch?

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

Time to go boys and girls, while we row I will tell you tales of heroism, daring and of course my various romantic escapades...

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

Pale Lothi responds in a comical, maniacal voice like any good performer he desires to make his audience laugh...

I am but a humble Jadwiga blessed with the powers of invisibility and trickery, it all comes from my "grandma" you see... I have transversed all of Irrisen at one point or another, along the way I have seduced werewolves, composed songs that made white dragon's cry and danced with a blue skinned giantess, I even avoided getting trampled!

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

Chelish Rum? Come on that stuff is easy to drink, you want something really potent try Irrisen Orc whiskey... Just the whiff of it sickens halflings and children...

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

Always a mischievous being Lothi's eyes gleam as he speaks...

Time to get cracking, lest my horrible music crack the boats in twain...

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

then he shall lurk in his room! Let's see what horrible melodies he can devise...

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

He could depending on how you want to play it, although he doesn't have an apartment... He has an Inn room and the ulfen barkeep isn't going to raise a fuss considering the nature of Pale Lothi... It helps that Pale Lothi chose one of the most superstitious Ulfen around... Lothi could have come to the caravan simply to act as entertainment. If you want him lurking in his Inn room composing baleful melodies and songs to make Ulfen wish for brown britches he will be in there...

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

Pale Lothi will follow the group back to the caravan, he will probably chat with some of the people there... But he will truly start engaging in conversation after the "target" has been rescued...

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

certainly

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

Wait my dear till you have spent a winter in old Irrisen, once you have my beauty you will understand the songs of my homeland... Now to crack another song out or to get a nice ale... Hmmm hard choice.

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

Lothi prepares the final verse by increasing the half bombastic, half somber tone of his music to a fever pitch...

Dancing in the freezing winds lurks a figure o myth my lad, he be called the reaper! When we see him in the freezing winds of this hell we all know two things my lad, one of us going of to the boneyard and the rest of us be a knowing that were all dead men here!

perform1d20 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

Lothi increases the tempo of the bawdy Irrisen drinking song and chants another verse...

The Hero, the thief, the wizard, the witch even the bloody priest are all walking dead men my lad like all of us they will be paying a visit to the boneyard right quick! None of us be avoiding the grave my lad, were all dead you see we just don't know it yet!

perform (string), to increase the tempo. 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

Let us start with a classic, were all dead men here. Lets see if you can match me verse for verse.

Pale Lothi begins to pluck the fiddle and then turn it towards a half somber, half comical tune that is the tendency among the songs of Irrisen's benighted peasantry...

In the fields of Irrisen there be only one kind of man, that's a dead one my lad. They may all claim to be different, yet they are not my lad. The peasant, the trapper, the cook, even the Jadwiga they all be destined for one fate my lad...

perform (string)1d20 + 11 ⇒ (10) + 11 = 21

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

So Ulfen, can you carry a tune?

As he says this Pale Lothi summons a fiddle out of thin air...

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

Pale Lothi raises an eyebrow...

The ale of Irrisen burns my dear, I know this from personal experience... Although to be fair the ale of Irrisen is made by orcs who have rather interesting brewing practices...

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

A night time stroll would be a bad idea, if they are expecting trouble that's exactly the time they would expect you to go make it... Few would expect you to set a bonfire of ale in the middle of all of this, the chaos and smoke will serve as a better guise then any nighttime stroll could... However a third option does exist, it will require a distraction of some sort... Not as large as the aforementioned ale bonfire but something attention grabbing, I have many talents and one of those happens to be the secret of invisibility...

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

In an amused and wicked voice Pale Lothi speaks...

Let's start the party ahead of schedule, I hear that ulfen ale and beer in particular are highly flammable... Large fires tend to make people panic, especially when their buildings tend to be made of wood and contain barrel after barrel of ale in them... If we can start a fire large enough we can exploit the ensuing chaos, we need to scout the place out first for two things. The first thing is where are they keeping all the ale, the second is where the target is...

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

We may wish to see if any local alchemists be about, some liquid fire thrown onto your longhouse tends to keep one rather busy...

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

I recommend raiding this funeral ship during the time Ulfen have breakfast, many would tell you to strike at dawn... That is nonsense, all the good bandits in Irrisen struck while breakfast was being had, that way everyone was in their houses... It made it much easier to quell resistance often by simply burning the inhabitants alive within their own dwellings... The true valuables in Irrisen at least were the livestock after all...

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

Looking up Lothi studies the Varki and speaks in an amused voice, Varki, strange to the bones they be... Although to be fair anyone is going to go insane where they typically live...

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

Pale Lothi speaks in a humorous voice, with just a hint of sarcasm...

What "variant" of b++*$? There are many variants you see, each one deserves to be accorded a measure of respect... Lest she decides to cut your head off...

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

Lothi calmly taps the shortbow on his shoulder, I prefer strike at range... I also have some other 'talents" as well, so Ulfen are you sure you want a Jadwiga fighting besides you?

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

Old Snorri in his younger years was a well respected sea borne raider, respected enough that his funeral ship will be launched from spear-shaker's point. It will be an hour after dawn, if your going to crash the funeral party I will accompany you... Crashing a funeral party is always a comical event, especially when the local Ulfen believe me to be the doom of their kind...

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

Lothi begins to empty the coffers of memory for information...

Know (nobility)1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Know (local)1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Know (religion, for funeral rights)1d20 + 11 ⇒ (7) + 11 = 18

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

Funeral ships are quite a good affair for one of my reputation, whenever I went to one everyone cleared out and left all that food and ale sitting... Now as for a specific funeral ship which one are you speaking of and for which Jarl?

bard (dirge Bard), F 1+, R 6+, W 4+, ac 16, Init 2+, HP 23/23

Lothi quietly strummed his harp which he had learned to conjure as a youth and reclines in his chair... Until a few moments ago the table in the corner had been his alone...

An ulfen willingly approaches Pale Lothi... This must be something "special".
