Sounds fun, but I have no seeker. I could stack a level 8 and a level 4 character in a trenchcoat. Surely it wouldn't be as messy as three goblins trying.

I think playing out this battle and seeing makes a lot of sense. We can see where we are then.

Pulling back the curtain slightly: Mistress Koi was something of a prison guard for Caught. Nikma grumbles as companion agents start appearing out of nowhere. First Threzlomn, who quickly runs out of the room. Then Tibal, claiming time travel.

Seeming frustrating, the ranger demands Okay! Who is actually staying and who is just passing through as if on their way to some damned fey party in the First World?!?

But, as the introductions proceed he starts to calm down.

I had a long couple of days. Catching back up.

Jaraduk tries to hide a dubious expression as the captain explains the situation. His intuition from his "scoundrel" days kicks in.

I know this type. Sanctimonious. Self-righteous. So much so that we have to be prepared for him to be wrong about Agavana...

He quickly wipes away his stinkface and waits patiently while Guess? negotiates for more creds. No bump on the BP. These gov't guys always hide behind bureaucracy. Everyone is a victim but part of it at once.

He isn't entirely buying everything this guy says.

Sense motive on nomo BPs: 1d20 ⇒ 6 lol. His suspicions will have to remain suspicions.

He finally speaks up when the group leaves the captain and gets back to the ship.

Even if he believes it is Agavana, I sense this Captain has the ability to fool himself. We should be prepared for the possibility that she's not involved. It might really be her, but I could tell he could nearly taste it. He would lead the conclusion. Or, worse, he is straight-up lying. Guess?... when we question Jassk be on the lookout for him to feed us what the Captain wants him to. I could be wrong... but my bull-sensor is going off.

When he gets a chance, Jaraduk upgrades his armor to Lashunta ringwear II.

Jaraduk generally doesn't feel useful as half the group goes to work on rehabilitating the Guardian Robot. He does pop in every day or so to ask them how it's going. He's particularly proud of his name suggestions. His current favorites are: "Jeeves" and "Conky."

He spends most of his time exercising and reading until one day when he gets a foreboding email. From that point on he sits in the corner of the rec room, searching online for... something.

When Guess? goes to get a buyer for their nuts, Jaraduk badly wants to help (he needs a distraction) despite the fact that he's not the best at such deals.

Zarta leans in, whispering.

As a result, there remain many storerooms barred to our comprehensive study, including the Overflow Archives—until today, that is. It is critical that you minimize the damage to these archives and do so in as professional a manner as possible. If I can demonstrate that my agents are capable and trustworthy, we may win permission to study the truly mysterious treasures beneath the Grand Lodge.”

She shrugs and smiles before continuing. “That said, I know that there is more than junk beyond those doors. I’ve heard that someone squirreled away a copy of The Darklands Precepts somewhere in there, and it’s far too dangerous a tome to leave lying about. Get it out of there and return it to me, no matter what excuse Shaine might make to toss it back in the pile.”

She departs the Archives immediately after this.

Hello all! I'm recruiting for a STANDARD run of 6-15 The Overflow Archives. I got to play this a while back (lol) in a long-running group run by GM ShieldBug (members of this group would go on to build a healthy, long-running Starfinder group that completed Dead Suns and is running strong).

I've been convinced to help keep PF1 games available and choose this scenario. My hope is to recruit 6 players this week, and start Tuesday next week after the American holiday and Paizocon (I have no illusions of trying to overlap with that :)) Of course if recruitment takes longer I'll adjust.

Standard expectations for my tables:
I reside in the US/Pacific timezone, so I tend to post late everyday after the work-day in that timezone (which tends to be after everyone else's days).

Expectations:
- Real life comes first. Games should be fun and not add stress.
- Posting: 1/weekday and 1/weekend.
- I will bot after waiting on a character for 24 hours for a combat turn or skill check (but I prefer not to :) ).
- I give advance notice of disruptive absences. Players doing the same keeps us moving! That said, life happens. See Rule #1.

Either way it makes for a better excuse for our intentions. We didn't know the delivery was a prank! The cake contained a fishy stripper and only their spawn (the fish) survived! Maybe we can concoct a quasi-real mermaid body to throw in there with the fish! Jaraduk seems too into the idea.

Ajithu-Ko looks like a fishy head-in-a-jar atop his protective armor. However, in addition to his thin, almost stick-figure frame (at 5’6”), he has thin bluish membranes between his arms and legs that most humans would liken to bat-wings. The membrane and his skin are a green-tinted deep-blue that you imagine nearly disappears in ocean waters (not that there is an ocean near Absalom Station). His helmet is filled to the top with freshwater, and while that causes his skin to nearly disappear in dim lighting, his bright-white bulbous eyes always glow through.

It would seem there are theorists who have many ideas about the ancient civilizations that left their remnants on this planet. Perhaps that their technologies far outstripped what we know today in the pact worlds. Perhaps even that they created the life that proliferated the worlds; that they conquered many systems in the Vast before thinning out and becoming lost to time...

Ajithu-Ko perks up at Arc's tales. They sound very similar to Lenny's stories, that he would share back at his gym on Absalom Station. Surely they weren't part of the same team... what are the odds? He notes it but leaves it for now.
