While switching out runes Omari is going to pick up a longsword to put their rune on. The longsword works better with the Magus stuff. If I ever get a staff with true strike I'll switch it back. =D

I think our #1 priority should be getting anyone that uses a weapon as their primary damage source a +1 striking weapon. The extra die of damage is such a game changer for damage potential. Once we have more than a few days of downtime Omari can deconstruct one of the runes to get the blueprint for it and make several more to cover everyone, assuming we have the funds. As to who gets them first, I am ambivalent.

As they are resting that night Omari speaks up. "When we next get a free day I would like to transfer the runes from that starknife to my weapon. I could do the one on the armor as well if no one wishes to wear splint mail."

Omari seems taken aback at the creatures comment. "I.... I don't think that is ok. But... You are not doing active evil at the moment... What if you warn them to leave your home first on pain of death, and then if they refuse you defend your home?"

"Honestly. As long as they don't eat people, I don't see why we can't come to a peaceful resolution." Omari looks to Balka . "Can you commit to not eating any innocent people that stumble through here?"

Aaaaand I have lay on hands again! Omari will call on Nethys' blessing healing the party making sure everyone is feeling better. "This is disconcerting. It seems our necromancer friend here was a small part of a larger organization. Based out of Katapesh if I remember correctly..." Society: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24

Omari banters with the leader of the mercenaries as they circle around to flank while swinging their glaive. "Look, you know you can't win here. It's not to late to surrender. Alternately. My friends and I are going to have to inflict grievous harm upon you. Don't make us do that." ◆ Stride
Glimpse of Redemption:
Your foe hesitates under the weight of sin as visions of redemption play in their mind’s eye. The foe must choose one of the following options:
The ally is unharmed by the triggering damage. The ally gains resistance to all damage against the triggering damage equal to 2 + your level. After the damaging effect is applied, the enemy becomes enfeebled 2 until the end of its next turn. Demoralize: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19

I would like to use my Glimpse of Redemption reaction on the attack against Amaril, The hobgoblin can either do zero damage, or become enfeebled 2 and Amaril gains Resistance 5 to her damage. Omari Calls out to Nethys to protect Amaril before turning their glaive onto the hobgoblin. ◆ Strike

Quite frankly we are getting to the point where I would expect our martials to start getting +1 Striking weapons soon. (Level 4) I'm planning to pick up magical crafting so I can transfer runes for the party once I hit lvl 6, but that is a ways off.

"Look at all this treasure!" Omari gestures to the scrolls seemingly quite excited about them. "Does anyone else want these?" they look to their companions hopefully. After the party reads the book "So yes, this woman is clearly demented. It seems almost certain that she was the mastermind behind what is going on. Any ideas on how we can find her? Is anyone skilled in tracking?"
