Seeing Dragolan and Mikhail (I presume) seeing to the ill, Okhosa closes his eyes a minute, but opens them suddenly as a wave of dizziness crashes over him. I should make myself useful somehow, he thinks to himself. He spends a moment considering both Sasha and Aerys - Question the one, or ease the tension of the other...? - before moving over to sit near Aerys. The poor girl is nearly beside herself. "So," he says gently, "I've been working on some magic tricks. Tell me what you think?" Casting prestidigitation and basically just trying to calm her down and boost her morale with simple little tricks, aided by the spell. If it'll help, I'll make a Diplomacy roll. Okhosa nods in return to Ishirou, and follows as directed. His brow drops in concern as he sees the two stretched out and hears Aerys' explanation. He shakes his head after she finishes speaking, and essays a weary smile. "We are not lost yet, Aerys," he says kindly. "Don't let despair take you; the future is not written, and I for one am not resigned to death... despite how close to it I feel." With that, he slumps wearily into a chair, or on the ground if there isn't one available.

While Okhosa is happy to stoicly continue, I would suggest heading back. However, I guess continuing on is the more exciting and interesting choice (even if it is more dangerous!). Just checking, do I have LoS or not? DM says yes, Mikhail says no? What with the Dex damage, if I don't the roll will be at -9, if I do it'll be a far better (hah) -5... It's not worth expending any spells on this one apart from acid dart, but if I'm firing at -9 I pretty much need a 20, I'm guessing... Oh well, I'll roll it at -1 (just including Dex penalties) and let the DM apply LOS/firing into melee penalties. If there is any way I can manoeuvre to get LoS I'll do that, obviously :) Still staggering drunkenly, Okhosa attempts to fire another arcane acid projectile at the creature. Acid dart: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (7) - 1 = 6 This is almost becoming comical :)

Just realised that I forgot to apply the Dex damage mod to my crossbow attack roll; it didn't make a difference, but my ranged attacks should all be at +1, not +2, till it's healed. Once the last scorpion has been crushed by Morgrym, Okhosa breathes a sigh of relief - before it catches in his throat. He begins hunting feverishly through the pile of equipment, eyes wide, until he retrieves what he was searching for: his spellbook. Please tell me it's not water damaged! Assuming it's not! Gathering up the rest of his gear, Okhosa cottons on to the conversation quickly. "The lack of memory would certainly suggest either some kind of narcotic, probably poisonous substance - likely administered via the food, seeing as how we were all affected, and apparently all at around the same times - or, magic. I can't recall noticing any signs of magic being used around us. The most likely conclusion is a drug in the food. Supported by the fact that I could readily empty my stomach right this minute." Okhosa also notes the channelling effect, and straightens his spine as the minor damage he suffered is healed. "Thank you, Dragolan," he says politely. In response to Mikhail, he looks at the footprints. "Well, I didn't even see those; well spotted. I can't make head nor tail of them, what do you suppose made them?"
