Hey all, really thought I was going to be able to keep up with this but (un)fortunately(?) I've had to take on some more responsibilities at work and I'm going to be dropping a few of the games that I'm in. Thanks so much for the opportunity to play with all of you and I'm sorry to leave!

Taking bewildered look around in the chair, Nerak cannot help but loose a string of curses in Hallit.

After hearing the raven talk about the jailer, Nerak will stand up to go and investigate the iron maiden in the room. "I tire of this place and its cryptic spirits..."

"I do not like ghosts or magic," Nerak says with a snarl. "But if you all think this door is safe I trust the group's judgement."

"Talia told us that this place used to be part of a castle until some rebellion. I'd imagine these were prisoners back whenever that was," Nerak says, looking to see if there is anything valuable or identifying about the skeletons.

Nerak will follow Corin down the rope, rushing as she does so in hopes that Vultha doesn't get injured too bad.

Climb (accelerated): 1d20 + 5 - 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 - 5 = 9 gonna assume this rope is braced against the wall and therefore DC 5. I'll retcon if needed.

After reaching the bottom she moves up to the centipede by Vultha and draws her axe. "Are you alright, Vultha? Try to stay with the group!"

Nerak hurries to join her companions, taking a crack at climbing up by herself.

Hurrying over to help with moving the timber, Nerak thinks on the strain in the baroness's voice. "I think that the Lady Origena wants us to look out for anything that could point to the fate of her late husband. I'll do my best to keep an eye out."

Giving a stiff, unpracticed bow Nerak says in her best impression of a simpering southerner: "I am Nerak Allriver, an adventurer who has found herself rather recently out of work. These fellows are my companions."

Nerak will join Gwibble in going to the wizard's door. She does not trust that any wizard is friendly (except maybe Edon), so she makes sure to be on the lookout for anything suspicious as they go.

Nerak nervously follows the group to the Witch Tower. She puts her weapons on her back, as she figures getting in trouble with the guards after the events of the morning isn't the greatest idea.

Giving something a name like "Witch Tower" without any witches is just cruel. "Hopefully we can investigate the disappearance of the former baron, that seems like a good way to build reputation."

The mention of witches makes the scars all over Nerak's body itch. "Is there a witch in town? Do you need us to take care of them?"

This time, instead of hovering over her kukri she grabs her axe from its rest leaning against the table. "Either way, if something fell in town we should see if anyone needs help." Nerak now also awaits an explanation of what the Witch Tower is.

Nerak stands from her seat and her hand hovers over the kukri on her belt. Landslides remind her of home, and there was nothing good back home. "Sounds like a landslide. We should go see if anyone needs help!"

"If you make a few good performances on the road from here to Oppara you should be fine," she tells Corin. She thrusts her thumb at her chest and grins widely, "Stick together with us for a while though! As a group we may be able to find some treasure. Then you can live like a king in Absalom!"

After Gwibble's comment about chaos and barbarian, Nerak mumbles her grievances with that characterization in Hallit.

Nerak makes sure to grab her axe from the cart before it is taken away, shaking her head and muttering curses in Hallit all the while.

When Talia approaches, Nerak listens and her mood is visible brightened. "I'll never say no to a place to drink and put my feet up," she says, turning to her companions. "Maybe we can find some work in town since we might be stuck here a while. That is, if you all don't mind sticking together?"

Seeing Silas led by the guards, Nerak lets out a nervous sigh. "I don't want any trouble with the law, but I sure do want to get paid. We should go ask them what is going on."

Nerak keeps her axe at the carts and checks that her kukri is right in its sheath. She motions for the other bodyguards to come down and join her.
