Natharanak flies to a rooftop facing the prison's front door and perches in the shadows.
Natharanak, riding on Granny's shoulder, does his best to act like a normal bird as his head swivels to take in the other patrons.

From his perch on Granny's shoulder, Natharanak turns his head, focusing one eye on Trokkus.
Natharanak descends from the hole in the ceiling and lands on Granny's shoulder, rubbing briefly against her head.
Off in the unseen distance, a bird circles around and turns back towards the pyramid.
Natharanak stares at the interloping parrot with an unreadable expression, not giving up his shoulder.
Natharanak cocks his head at the other parrot before squawking something himself. Speak with Animals of Its Kind (bird): "W̴͙̒h̷̚a̵͑t̶ ̸s̸̛̼ing̷̏ş̷̚?"
Natharanak waits on Granny's shoulder, apparently intent on something.
Natharanak flies down and starts tearing into a sandwich. "Y̬̣͉̗̅ͮͥ̇a ͕̱ͬͭa͖̮ẖ͛."
With the immediate battle finished, Natharanak begins to fly back. He does what he can to stay hidden by some of the higher branches, perching where he had a decent (and safe) view of the newcomer.
Natharanak leaves Granny's shoulder as she starts moving and gets out of range of the howlers' howl. Nobody needed to see him under that kind of influence again.
The graying parrot on Granny's shoulder peers down at the books as well.
