Proceeding into the inner chamber, the Fierce Ones find Yig's treasury. Standing with a broom in her hand in the 30-ft-square-by-30-ft-high chamber within the ziggurat is a teenaged Latina, quite pretty, who seems a little surprised to see the Fierce Ones. She wears a dress covered with a flower pattern. In Spanish: Are you guys here to play Yig's game and try to pick the most precious thing? As they look around the chamber, the Fierce Ones see various rare treasures displayed on pedestals or within niches in the walls.... Almost like a museum of treasures.... A +4 vorpal holy axiomatic scimitar, with jeweled hilt hangs on the east wall.... Next to a tapestry of the finest silk depicting the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse riding pale horses, with cloth-of-gold and gemstones woven into it to enhance it's dark beauty.... A horn of purest gold, decorated with relief images of Viking ships and sea serpents, and inlaid with rubies, diamonds, sapphires and emeralds rests on a pedestal.... As does a jade monkey statue that sat for centuries in another trap-filled temple of doom.... And a helm of brilliance sparkling as it rests on the crown of a bust of Alexander the Great sculpted by Michaelangelo.... A ring of three wishes and an iron flask in niches in the wall seem almost humble by comparison.... As does a genie lamp of emerald-studded gold.... |
