We were given the introduction, time to buy, then sent immediately into combat. There was no roleplay at all in this scenario. At tier 7-8, the only reason the first fight wasn't a TPK was because they had someone to absorb the damage. There is no level 7 or 8 character that could survive that first fight for more than one round, if they were taking the damage

The rest of the scenario went no better, and the fact that the end fight has a creature that is 10 CR above the party is simply stupid. There is no way a party can win this module. There is no fun. Only play this one if your entire party is min-maxxed 100% AND everyone can afford resurrections.

The entire thing felt painful and infuriating. I've never been in a module that actually made me angry, but this one did. Would give it a 0 star if I could, and I plead that no one ever plays this scenario. It's not worth the time, and it's not worth the frustration. Completely unbeatable.

Pathfinder Society Scenario #4–26: The Waking Rune (PFRPG) PDF

I played in this one a little while back with my 11th level paladin/hellknight. (5 stars)Nanomdhttps://paizo.com/products/btpy8kab?Pathfinder-Society-Scenario-301-The-Frostfur-Captives2011-08-09T18:21:43Z
Pathfinder Society Scenario #3-01: The Frostfur Captives (PFRPG) PDF

Hello there! Frostfur Captives, #3-01, is an excellent way to start off the 3rd season. While it may not be the most combat heavy, it is a thrill and fun to play, and to run. I just got done running this module six (6) times at Gen Con, and I gotta say I loved every time. The combats that the parties took place in ever time were challanging, but not overly deadly. There is one typo though, and that is that is it suppose to be Inflict LIGHT Wounds, not Inflict SERIOUS Wounds.

The one thing I gotta say after running this so many times is that it is okay to shake things up a bit. Remember, you are in Irisen, so through a few monsters in there just to make the table nervous. It'll help society-only players keep interested in a society mod which as a surpisingly large amount of room for role-playing. People who may not like to role-play or don't know how can be engaged if they are on the verge of being eaten by a white dragon, or some such.

I had a ball running it, and remember, Jar-Jar Binx is a perfect goblin.

Pathfinder Society Scenario #3-01: The Frostfur Captives (PFRPG) PDF

Hello there!
