Second-Born Sweetheart and Life of the Party, Romane Vieuxpont | Know (Local/Nobility) | Theme Song
Romane waits several seconds for her brother to leave and be out of earshot. “Triss, Marcus, I am terribly sorry about his behavior, please don't let what he does affect what you think of me. Being father’s favorite did horrid things to his ego.”
Romane casts a spell, and doesn’t attempt to hide it either. While Marcus has seen her thrice, never has he been able to pinpoint her expertise.
She speaks as the spell affects her. “Rather tame for one of Augustine’s signature bashes, for certain.” Her clothing changes with a flourish, slowly dissolving away in color to become white, the hem of her gown extending further to floor, a small cape appearing on her chest and stretches along her back. ““I wonder which of the two bleeding hearts he owned the favor?” Her hair changes, once down, but now braided. She appears a bit more sophisticated overall, certainly more tame.
“I’m afraid there are too many here I am obliged to mingle with, dear. As much as I’d love to have you to myself,” she turns her head, looking for her next spot, “I’ll spare you everyone’s envy.”
Romane smiles playfully. “Don’t be a stranger, Marcus.” She leaves, intercepting Alexander before he can reach his destination. The man doesn’t seem too glad to encounter her.
To Marcus:
You failed to identify the spell as it was being cast. Strangely enough, despite casting the spell and showing changes to her appearance, there was no magical aura placed upon her. Something must be dispelling or masking them on her person.

Halcyon never went through the mirror leading to Romane’s closet ;) she has no idea who the Oracle is.
“Why would I care for Halcyon?” she begins, "I mean no offense towards this friend, but why her and not the platinum haired golem-girl? Or the handsome soldier? Or Estelle’s little prize? Or your sister?” Romane smiles, though she puts on a mocking pout. “We could have had a real party, I already had the wine uncorked, Marcus."

“Uninvited guest, Gerard. Trespassers are never welcome, but a guest is another story entirely.” Romane makes room for her brother, stepping closer to Marcus. “I thought I was imagining events, but it seems several of my wardrobe companions are present. How rude they didn’t re-introduce themselves...”
Romane’s glances to those she saw that evening (Seth, Valentina, Raphael), her brother attempting to follow the looks, trying to guess which guests were the “trespassers.”
"No matter, you'll introduce me another time, won't you Marcus?"

Romane parts the crowds with smiles and whispers, moving across the warehouse towards Marcus. She wears a stunning black dress contrasting her pale skin, and is adorned in silver jewelry around her fingers and neck.
Romane speaks in a sultry tone. “Marcus, darling, I didn’t know you danced in my circles, I expected you to be a mere tavern-boy.” The young woman inspects Beatrice before turning back to the kitsune. “Li’l Tris is your date? Darling, I thought we had something special.”
Beatrice stammers, flustered, though is interrupted by Romane. “Little jest, love.”

To Marcus:
You figure that you still have a few hours before any of the others return to the Inn with their details. Romane obliges, following you upstairs after putting her small chest of candies back into her purse, and placing a large white coat over her shoulder. When she reaches the room, she promptly sits on a bed, patting it to signal you to sit with her. "A bit forward, but who am I to judge?" The lovely woman laughs, putting a strand of hair over her ear. "Now please, do tell."

To Marcus:
The chemist laughs at the notion of selling his concoction in the bar. He says he’ll try to whip something up for you that might be popular at the Inn. He seems gleeful when he mentions he has an idea for “something with a kick.”
Back at the bar, a particular guest has arrived early. Sitting at the bar is Romane Vieuxpont, dressed in a black dress that trails golden hems. She wears several necklaces, from pearls to symbols of Shelyn, to red rosary beads. She removes a small wooden chest from her purse, takes an amber hard candy, and pops it into her mouth. When Marcus returns and is greeted with the usual cheer, Romane turns her head to face him. She is alarmingly beautiful, and her almost bleach white skin appears almost like a porcelain mask.
She beckons Marcus, calling him over with a wave. Nathen Tamarin hands her a drink, and she pays for it with a mere smile. When she speaks to you, her words comes out sultry and low, intimate almost. Her wide, dark eyes are mesmerizing when she looks to you. “Couldn’t wait for Wealday, love. Care to explain why I wasn’t invited to your party in my closet? Think you’d find I’m quite fun.”
Nathen appears confused, but smiles at his brother. He whispers that you should bring your girlfriend around more often, that every man who has seen her has refused to leave the bar. Nishara doesn’t share the sentiment, and seems to avoid looking over to Romane.
The woman has no magical auras on her person. In addition, you aren't able to determine if she is a caster or not. She certainly has enough presence to be a sorcerer, bard or summoner however.

The woman closes the closet door. She cries out to whoever is in the room with her. “Under red pillow, grab my knife.”
The man responds, confused and afraid. “W-What? Uh, On the bed? Why do you have a kni-”
“No time!” There is rushed stomping in the other room. Nishara runs to her brother’s side, and though she eyes the jewelry boxes she doesn’t take anything.
