I think I'm driving myself insane at this point. I remember reading a funny explanation of the 9 character alignments, based on how each alignment would react to an old lady who needed help crossing the street, but I can't find it anywhere... I thought I bookmarked the page but I guess I didn't. Does anyone else remember something like this? I've tried googling it every way I can think to word it, but haven't found it yet.

Ahem...

MOST MISLEADING TITLE EVER!!!1!!one!111!

Thank you,

Hi, there! In one of the games I'm playing in I'm a Mystic Theurge (base Witch/Cleric), and last week the nearly impossible happened...we reached level 16. Now, I like playing casters and I love playing Mystic Theurges. I've done the traditional wizard/cleric, I'm most fond of wizard/druid, and this time I had decided to try my hand at witch/cleric in part because I've never tried playing a witch before. But out of all the times I've played an MT, the only thing I've never done was reach the 10th level of it...

So, I'm sitting here leveling my character for tomorrow's game, pretty excited to max out the class for the first time; but I'm thinking, what will I do after this, whenever we reach level 17? The obvious choice is to pick either Witch or Cleric and just continue leveling that, or switch to something like Loremaster to level one of them indirectly, but I'm curious what other ideas might be fun!

The character right now is a Witch 3, Cleric 3, MT 10; her domains are Healing and Animal (feather), with Portents for her witch patron, and a greensting scorpion for her familiar (Ser Bartlesby, Destroyer of Worlds!). With items, her current Wisdom is 24, and Int is 18, so she's better as a divine caster. As a prepared caster she can change her focus from day to day, but tends to do a lot of buffs/debuffs, crowd control, and post-combat healing/restorations. She has a ring of wizardry for her level 2 witch spells, and has the feats to qualify for Loremaster if need be. The Psionics from Dreamscarred are allowed, but no one in the party is using them currently. The GM still has a fair amount planned for the game, and says we should reach level 20, and maybe a little higher even.

So, if you were me, what would YOU do for levels 17+?

Thanks!

How do you handle a creature with an immunity to something it might actually want to be effected by? Does the spell/effect simply fail to work? Or can certain creatures "switch off" undesirable immunities as they wish. Specifically, in this case, an Ooze (an intelligent one) that wants to be effected an Alter Self spell (a polymorph effect)...but as an ooze, it happens to have immunity to polymorph.

Thanks.
