Seeing as we already have an Weapon 5 and a Blessing 5, I think I'll try for an item with my random card.

I think either option is a good choice on your upgrade, Lem.

I think I'm due for a power feat if I'm reading things right so I'll take the one that lets me roll a d12 for Dex with a recharge.

I'll figure out my overall upgrade after I've seen the drawn cards and what others want.


Oh look, a Sphere! That looks bad. I guess I should dodge it... I'll go with dex and will use my blessing to be safe.

Dex 12: 2d8 + 2d4 ⇒ (5, 5) + (3, 3) = 16 Passed.

Oh look, Grazzle sent some healing. That's nice. I'll take 2 of the heals please! 2 allies. That's exciting!

Ok, and now we're caught up to the current hour, which is of the Ancients.

I'll follow Grazzle to the Thornscrub and will then explore. A Scarab Swarm, and I'm aiming for a 20 here. I'll use the Pillaging Mace and will add in Blazing Servant with recharging my Frost Lance to be safe.

Combat 16/20: 1d10 + 2d8 + 10 ⇒ (5) + (3, 3) + 10 = 21 Perma-dead, if only barely.

Now for the mace examine. Hand of the Guilty Man. Yoink. That's mine.

I can't go again, but at least the mace let me clear 2 cards, and I got some allies back. :)

Guess I'll head over to the Elemental Trenches since the Obelisk seems to be in hand.

Acute Senses. Doesn't seem worth it. I'll pass.

I'll use my Surgeon to explore again. Shattertouch Shotel +2. Honestly, that's really not worth it either. I have so many weapons in my hand right now... I pass. But I will recharge Blade Lash to draw a card off the encounter. Blazing Servant. Not that useful at the moment.

I guess I'm done since I can't explore again. No allies or blessing to recharge.

First, I need to attempt to recharge Augury.

I'll just eat the acid damage since I'm not likely to avoid it without a lot of help.

Acid dmg: 1d4 ⇒ 1 => Golden Serpent Armband to block that

Off to exploring again. Oh hey, it's that Sekrephere that's been hiding. But before dealing with that, I'm going to recharge my armor to draw a card. My earthbreaker. Not what I was hoping for. Sigh. And my blessing is Osiris so I need a divine 8 to beat this. It just keeps getting better. Well, honestly, there's no point in even trying since I'm just going to fail and then put it back on top of the location anyway since I have no allies or blessings in hand. Just shuffle it back in I guess.

I'm going to discard my lance to cycle a card and then end my turn.

Let's get this party started! Grave Goods. I guess I go with Dex. Grazzle, can I get your Find Traps to help?

Dex 12: 3d8 ⇒ (5, 5, 6) = 16 Got it! And by less than 6. :)

I'll take a weapon as my boon. Spellsword +2. Could be worse.

Chaplain to go again. A Giant Crocodile. I'll use my mace on it and will take the extra die from the location.

Combat 18: 2d10 + 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (5, 3) + (5) + 6 = 19 Dead! And the mace let's me examine. An Elder Ifreeti. That is not a boon. Sadness.

I'll use my blessing to go again to fight that Ifreeti. I'll use the mace on it again to counteract the fire penalty from the location. Lem, can you recharge for a d4 to give me a bit of a boost?

Combat 19: 1d10 + 1d8 + 1d4 + 6 ⇒ (3) + (2) + (3) + 6 = 14 Ouch, that sucks.

Magus Arcana to reroll the 10.

Combat 19: 1d10 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 17 Close enough. I'll Maat that to push me over.

I get another boon. I still want a weapon 5 so let's try again. Staff of Uraeus. Sigh.

And the mace let's me examine. Augury. I'll take that!

I can't go again so I guess I'll stop here. I'll discard my new sword and staff to cycle cards since I have too many weapons now...

I guess I'll keep going at the Hill. A Corridor Dart Trap. Why do I do these things to myself? At least I have stealth. And first I'll recharge Elemental Skin to draw a card. My chaplain. No help there. Ouch. Ok. Even with a blessing, the odds are against me so it's not worth using the only blessing on the table. I think I'll just fail this.

dmg: 1d4 ⇒ 1 Blocked with my armband, but I have to shuffle a new barrier in. Tar Tomb.

I'll use my Chaplain to go again and hope I don't regret it.

Well, that was a nice, long rest. Back to exploring this hill.

Looks like this hill should have been shuffled after Radovan's first failure at the coins so exploring randomly.

Random Explore: 1d5 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 -> Symbol of Pain

On encountering it, I'll recharge Arcana Theft to draw a card. My Earthbreaker. Oh well. Was hoping for an explore.

Going to discard my Frost Lance and Symbol of Pain to hopefully draw an extra explore for next turn.

Let's start exploring! Dance of the Dead. Heck of a way to start. I'll recharge my armor to draw a card when I encounter the barrier. A Blessing of the Samurai. I guess I'll use that on the check. Going with Dex.

Dex 10: 2d8 ⇒ (3, 4) = 7 Not unexpected. Magus Arcana to reroll the 3.

Dex 10: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12 Much better. I'll display it to make this scenario extra fun!

Librarian to go again. Sigh. This is not my night. An Ambush. Recharging Stone Skin to draw another card. Arcana Theft. Not at all useful. Oh well. Grazzle, can I have your Find Traps?

Dex 14: 3d8 ⇒ (5, 4, 8) = 17 Phew!

And that let's me explore again. A Mace of Ruin. Finally, something that isn't a barrier I'm likely to fail.

Melee 11: 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9 Oh well. I don't think it's worth a Maat since I have 2 weapons in hand, and it's only a 4.

I'll start at the Guardian Vault with everyone else and will do my normal swaps. It's the armor trader for me.


Weapon 4 is my top choice. Barring that, I'm not quite sure what I'd want, but I already have 1 weapon 4 so if someone else needs the second one, I can probably come up with something else to take.

Today, I get to tangle with Koth'Vaul. How fun. I suck at wisdom so I'll just fail the BYE check. I've got 2 weapons and 0 attack spells in hand, and I'm alone at my location so the damage goes to me. Golden Serpent Armband + a revealed Magus Arcana block it.

Now for when I encounter it, I'll display Arcana Theft. I'll also recharge Blade Lash per my power to draw a card => Blessing of the Samurai! Perfect!

Now it's just a straight up combat 24. I'll chuck my Spirit Sword at it + my newly drawn blessing.

Combat 24: 4d10 + 1d6 + 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (6, 10, 8, 1) + (6) + (1) + 6 = 38 That's very dead! We win!

I can take Reed Snake or Khamsin and then head to the Scorched Obelisk if needed. With either of those in hand, I can block 4 electricity at all times.
