A little smile flitters across Mylvwara's lips as she gives a little nod to the Master of Spells, "You're too kind, Good Master Zey."

Then she moves next to him, admiring the tapestry alongside her mentor, "The Hao Jin Tapestry, the Sky Key, you must be busy." She smiles, "Better than being at a loose end."

My GM star boon is that Mylvwara is tight with the master of spells, so maybe that will lower the DC?

Mylvwara holds out the piece of the key, "Bad news about the dwarves. They have falled into the service of Droskar and he has transmuted them into Duergar. That line of good folk is corrupted and broken by Hao Jin's experiments."

As she drops the fragment of the key into the VC's hand, she sighs, "The key fragment was probably all they had left of their better past."

Mylvwara has some situational bonuses as well: +2 vs enchantments (elf), +1 vs demons (boon) and +2 vs ongoing effects (aegis of recovery).

If she sees nothing, she will take the key.

Meanwhile, Mylvwara considers the object.

Mylvwara sends the hound archon to investigate the voice, "Thank you, Soldier of Heaven. Would you check who calls from the cells, and what they have to say?"

He has truespeech, PfE and a pile of immunities, plus scent so is good for spotting/avoiding/resisting any shenanigans.

Also, this archon has scent and blindfight. If the invisible foe is within 30', it knows the location.

I have put everyone on the map at the correct size but feel free to adjust yourselves.

Mylvwara has heard this kind of opening gambit often enough to respond with powerful magics rather than words. Instead, she addresses her friends, "And to think we came here expecting to negotiate. Droskar is an evil god of misery and self-loathing. Expect no kindness in his halls."

The slight elf begins weaving an enchantment.

The lion then attacks the glittering foe.

If the lion can only get one attack then use the bite. If the duergar exposes himself to a charge then the lion can full attack and rake, with a +2 to each attack.

I am assuming that Mylvwara would liaise with her friends who can see invisible to make sure she could target the correct square (or squares if the duergar are close enough together). If they are far from the lion then so is her spell.

Glitterdust: DC19 will to avoid the blinded effect.

Mylvwara surveys the battlefield, "With all haste then, and perhaps we will have time to talke with Diazepane's invisible friend?"

She casts a spell.

Mylvwara advises the others, "These are not normal dwarves, they're duergar. They can turn themselves invisible and grow larger once per day. They are immune to paralysis, phantasms, and poison and are sensitive to bright light."

"I've not met one before, it would be fascinating to talk with them if w-" She breaks off as Mykel charges into battle.

"Well then, it'll be that instead."

Mylvwara casts a spell haste and everyone feels a sense of alacrity.

Mylvwara has a think... Anything she should know?

Mylvwara observes in fascination as Tofu produces a magical effect that she can also create, but with different arcane forces.
I also have a dimension door memorised, if we need it.

Mylvwara scowls, "silly? Don't you realise that creatures which, by and large, feel a moral imperative are the dominant species on Golarion? Humand, elves, dwarves and so forth."

"Morality has a strength that the feeble egos of the cruel struggle to comprehend. For instance," she looks around the area, "Your allies, if they are as selfish as the Aspis, will consider avenging your death to be too much effort and will forget about us. They might be marginally more vile than otherwise should they stumble upon a vulnerable pathfinder, that is all."

The elf's gaze settles back upon the fossegrim, "Or perhaps I am wrong, and we should silence you immediately so that you cannot tell anyone that it was Pathfinders who defeated you?" She smiles icily, "What do you want? Do you want us to be kind and fair and... moral. Or do you want us to murder you as you stand, not letting "silly ideas like morality" get in our way?"

Mylvwara is rocking a delightful Shining Wayfinder on her hip.

Mylvwara is about to enchant her eel with the ability to see the invisible when it becomes visible.
"Well, I've always enjoyed a good surrender. Come out of the water then and lay down your weapons."
She claps her hands together impatiently and gestures to the shore, "Come along now, there's a good chap."

Assuming that her allies have informed her that the villain is still underwater...

Mylvwara calls over her summoned ally single move and steps closer to the shore to get to it 5ft step then she casts see invisibility on the giant eel and tells it to attack the foe.
It then moves uses another move action to get as close to the enemy as possible.

Would someone move the eel into place?

Sorry for going AWOL lately.

Work/Life got crazy for a little while.
We had my wife's 40th birthday.
We had a load of other delayed birthday things (here in the UK, lockdown has just been eased).
I was the busiest I have ever been at work: I'm a teacher whose students are all doing end-of-year exams. Due to COVID, the exams were all cancelled and replaced by teacher-assessed-grades. The exam boards did not explain how to gather, evidence and share these grades until very late in the metaphorical day. I have done so much marking and assessment, I've started dreaming about assessment criteria.

I should get back on track with all of my games over the next few days.

GM, is the foe completely submerged? If not then Mylvwara will use glitterdust on it.

The giant moray eel charges at the remaining visible foe.

A magnificent, glowing, giant moray eel appears at the edge of the water and Mylvwara rushes forward to cast a spell on it.

The real reason why those numbers are hidden in a spoiler is to hide the horrible rolls. That dice-bot is against you!

Mylvwara calls out, "Those singers are Fossegrim. They're fey who haunt bodies of water. They are resistant to normal attacks, except cold iron, are able to turn invisible in water, look like treasure, drown people with a kiss and magically lure people to come to them for a kiss. They also casts some water magic."

Then she looks over the undead, "And these are draugr. They're like zombies but smarter and able to drain your vital energy if they strike you."
Draugr can inflict negative levels.

I could summon a giant squid, cast protection from evil and send it to bother them?

"Mountains to the East? Chergin?" Mylvwara is making notes as she talks, "What more can you tell us about this Chergin?"

Mylvwara sighs, ”Stubborn duergar, they’ll probably worship Droskar as well…”

She shakes her head, ”Took they youth away? Did someone steal their children?”

Mylvwara raises an eyebrow, ”What happened to your master?”

Mylvwara glances over at the woman and wonders what kind of species she might be.
