Moyasmedsev was born into a Droyne Oytrip Yatroy on the world of
Thaxray/Ogaros (Meshan 3026) (A423115-D), a poor world dominated by the megacorporation Sternmetal Horizons. Moyasmedsev came to the attention of the local corporate hierarchy early in his life when he performed very well on intelligence and aptitude tests and received a scholarship to study at the university on Ogaros.
Caste as a Sport, Moyasmedsev was comfortable away from the Oytrip Yatroy and after graduating from the university attempted a career in the courier service. However, his ship was boarded by pirates. Moyasmedsev and his pilot (a female Vargr named Thek-ghae-gaekh-guen-luer were taken prisoner and held for ransom for nearly a year. Thek-ghae-gaekh-guen-luer died of disease and malnourishment just days before Moyasmedsev was released and the loss hit him hard. He wallowed in grief and guilt for almost a year, becoming addicted to various narcotics.
After that he was drafted into the subsector Navy as a sensor technician and participated in a violent naval clash at Irmar/Ogaros (Meshan 2725) during which his ship was in heavy action against the Opposition Alliance.
Four year later he transferred to the Naval Support service as an administrator. He did very well in what many considered a boring job but for which Moyasmedsev's meticulous mind was well suited. Having dealt with many civilian contractors, he was invited by Sternmetal Horizons to leave his job and come to work for them, performing essentially the same task for twice the pay.
Moyasmedsev accepted and began to run the naval supply depot as a civilian. He learned of a scheme whereby pieces of important technology were being marked as surplus and then sold on the black market. Grateful to Sternmetal Horizons for lifting him out of poverty and getting him off of Thaxray, Moyasmedsev looked the other way and permitted it to occur. Despite his best intentions, he came to have frequent contact with Oe-kekh, one of the more dangerous Vargr thugs on Ogaros.
Continuing to run the naval depot, Moyasmedsev's luck finally ran out when the planetary government raided his depot and learned that one of owners had direct ties to the Empire of Gashikan, and was a member of a vocal and violent anti-Vargr group. . Again, loyal to the company, Moyasmedsev had kept his mouth shut and done as told, not gaining any friends with the Military Security forces who investigated on the station, but making an Ally out of Airyana Svolman, the Vilani woman who had been in charge of his subsector, and who had been based in the small civilian sector maintained here on the Ruler's Fist, as the station was named.
She had enough pull to weather the loss of contracts, and was busy building new connections and would soon be working in nearly the same position for a different military contractor. However, that wouldn't have happened if Moyasmedsev had told about some of the under the table stuff she'd been involved in. Nothing traitorous, thank goodness, but illegal for sure. Her position was precarious, she couldn't bring Moyasmedsev with her, but she could look out for him and pull strings to keep him from going to jail. It was made clear to the droyne that he was no longer welcome on Ogaros and chose to leave the Antares Pact altogether.
With the generous help of Airyana Svolman, Moyasmedsev received a significant payout and the use of the Kektys, an aging scout ship. He set out for the Vargr dominion known as the Rule of Five.
