There are a lot of firearms covered in this book. I like it is been broken down into basic categories; hand, sub, long, and mounted guns; small, medium, and large caliber. I feel like the book could have been expanded to show the subtle differences between calibers and manufacturers. There are a TON of table pages, but the differences per weapon are FEW. I'll come off of my 'gun guy' soapbox now and say that for $5...if you use firearms from past to present day in your games, this is probably worth it.
Easily, a MUST BUY at this price! For GMs, this will become a regular 'go to' book, especially, if you're a world builder. If not...IT'S FIVE BUCKS! BUY BUY BUY!
I picked this up at Gen Con 06, and we've been using it ever since. For $2, just get it. Mayhem is fun, and it makes a nice 'reward' to players for good roleplaying or whatever else. It's TWO friggin dollars, well worth that.
This is a wonderful, condensed, tool for anyone that's interested in world-building. 37 pages full of information that I used to carry around 5 different books to have handy. Celestial interaction, tectonic action, convection cells, oceanic currents, climate affecting terrain...just marvelous. I will also seek Ecology and Culture at Gen Con, if I don't have success there, I'll surely order it when I get back.
