She laughs nervously and rubs the back of her head.

Uh yeah. I know. We're still putting the pieces together. I'm not exactly as I was. Despite my... spectral nature these can harm foes that harass my brother!

She brandishes a pair of blades: a spectral dagger whose edge you're quite sure is real (even if the rest looks hazy), and a glowing-orange short-sword-sized blade wreathed in flame.

Wow. I thought moving, lifelike illusions with sound were more advanced spells. A flat illusion sounds lesser than a figment! I suppose you'll show me sometime and I'll get it! Ouch!

Lidya frowns as the explanation introduces more questions than answers.

A cloaked young woman approaches, but something seems very "off" about her. Every time you try to assess the details of her appearance the colors seem to shift from your expectations. On focusing (perhaps after a double take) you notice that her being seems not entirely substantial. Her form seems... spectral.

Despite that, she seems overly enthusiastic.

Lidya slinks away from her brother as some amount of his occult energy comes to rest in her being. Traversing the nearby steps she arrives opposite riddle, closing in on the nearest fisher-person.

Her twin blades slash down at them in her signature "X" pattern. One is wrapped in flame, and the other is a simpler, spectral dagger.

She raises one hand high into the air and snaps her index finger and thumb, a clear signal to her elder brother as she steps forward towards it. When her last foot falls both arms swing forward, in an attempt to slash an "X" on the giant flytrap.

It's just then that she realizes her life force feels a little low. Turning around, she sees that Morthos is in very real (if magically sympathetic) pain.

BTW Lidya and Morthos share the same HP, so he's down the same amount that she is.

Lidya's frustration at missing after breaking the grapple has her still energized to shred this plan. So she gets to work on it.

The tiefling sighs and rubs his temples.

She takes one step back further to square up with the ruffian behind her prior target and double-slashes at him.

Once they're out of the store, Cirri musters enough courage to speak to her. "That was cool. Can you conjure fire? I'm more of a water and air type of person. My tribe lives on the coast, and, well-" she flexes her left wing "-some of the tribe can fly. I'm still working on that."

Oh... uh no. Not conjure. Just one of my blades is sort of... made of fire.

She holds out both blades to each side of her, displaying them clearly.

This main blade is the protector firebrand! This other one... the dagger is a little less impressive but it seems to catch foes off-guard after they focus on the fiery blade!

She sheathes them both as Cirri continues.

Oh, I bet you'll figure out the flying thing soon!

For when we eventually get into combat, Morthos and Lidya have this reaction in case Morthos takes a hit.

Effect Your eidolon instinctively flashes with ectoplasmic energy, allowing them to strike back against an enemy who dares to harm you. Lidya is walking by Pennypockets when she happens to notice a reaction. She stops looks over his shoulder and squints at it for a moment.

The one "warm" thing on her otherwise "cool colored", translucent figure is a flaming blade that she calls a firebrand. She draws it and holds it close to the pages as if it were a torch.

Ha! It's got invisible ink and the heat from my blade is revealing it. I think this will bring out the rest!

She nods and smiles at Noggin as he lines up next to her.

A fellow warrior!

"Well! My Uncle doesn't look anything like me. And he's also not my uncle by blood, not the brother of my father or my parent. But he gets Uncle as a title because he's helped me understand mechanical stuff since I was young-" Cirri can almost see through Lidya- "Younger! So that was fun."

Oh, it's simpler for us. We're half-siblings: we share the same mother. Morthos is stuck with me!
