"Interesting, I see we will have to make the time to visit this man and find out more... now what do we do about you and your crew? I am open to a suggestion. If it is good enough I may even follow it." Adriana gazes upon her captive with a wry smile and a hint of danger in her clear blue eyes.

"I see. Well, now it seems you should have reason to end such alliances and forge ahead anew. It would be too much to hope you would have meetings directly with the man, but any of his lackeys that you can steer us to would go a long way to securing the free taste of the seas once more."

"It is my business to know. El-Hadid has many active concerns within my realm, I can not abide the way he keeps his stranglehold upon my markets and now it is time to rectify this impropriety. I would be a poor schemer if I could not keep track of such relationships as the one carried on between the two of you."
Female Human Bard(Negotiator) 2
"Yes, treasure and gain. Right up until your ship is taken and your people face the noose or worse." Lady Adriana looks away towards the porthole. "Now you face a sad choice... give up your dealings with El-Hadid and join Illien as a privateer within their navy, or come work in my mines to face the black cough and never see the sun... honestly I would choose the former, the continued life on the sea would suit you. But, I do need workers, they have a nasty habit of living short lives." Lady Adriana punctuates this last with a smile.
Female Human Bard(Negotiator) 2
"My dear Captain Harlan, how does one find oneself in a life of piracy? It must be an interesting tale to be told." The Lady Barad nearly purrs as she begins to stroke the man's ego looking for any edge to get the man to talk. "I have always found men of the sea to be very interesting. Such rough lives and unencumbered freedoms are not for the feint of heart."

1d20 + 18 ⇒ (11) + 18 = 29 For the whole interaction we are about to have to move the pirate feelings about the good lady Barad. Silver tongue lets her move three steps instead of two. I figure we can role play out the outcome if you don't mind. "I am sorry, but my fellow there does not know how to properly motivate people... I on the other hand... well, I am sure I can find some motivation that might move you. I am the Lady Barad, might I know your name as well." Lady Adriana smiles and moves with a sure grace, making sure the sailor is well aware that she does not fear him nor worries for her own safety.

Ok, so i think I have the stats figured out, though I'm not absolutely sure. Body Guards
Defensive fighting strategy.
Basicaly forming a small knot of soldiers keeping any melee from impacting on the archers under the command of Rogr
Female Human Bard(Negotiator) 2
"Lord Rogr, I do not know what that look is for, but you should rethink it. I am not a warrior queen or some grand wizard, I am merely a noble woman with a sharp wit and deep pockets I work hard to protect. If you are expecting anything more than this of me I will gladly leave you to your own devices and pocket book. Now, my men are at your command, so... command."
Female Human Bard(Negotiator) 2
"The man is ruthless and relentless, he has probably seen a weakness he can exploit. But, if we take him out of the picture, I could move in to take his place. First in Roesone, than in his other concerns. I could make sure your lands are well supplied and I do not see myself as the kind to consort with pirates."
Female Human Bard(Negotiator) 2
Ok, fixed the issues. I'm pretty sure we are not sailing away at the moment, so I will focus on the building of my holdings. This should be the second turn that my RP exceeds that needed for an increase to my bloodline, so I have that to look forward to at the end of this turn. 1d10 ⇒ 4 Realm action Rule Law
How does one spend regency?
Female Human Bard(Negotiator) 2
So... this whole time I have been making a serious mistake with oversight. Apparently, at the bottom of the page for your realm is a list of who has what and what levels are available in each of your provinces. I could not be building guilds this whole time, not without fighting a vicious trade war with the established guilds. I should have probably been ruling the law holdings this whole time instead, if you don't mind I will go back and adjust the law holdings instead as it had the same effect and then start fighting the guild wars from this point. I'm starting to think I should find the handbook for the old game and start reading through it when I get a chance.

There we go, that is what Adriana needed. Dearest Rogr, I am glad you have reached out again to finalize our arrangement in this most volatile of times. I will happily uphold the rest of our bargain, and do hope you hold to yours. Find you that my courier brings with him an endowment to aid with your plan. Use it wisely, I shan't be so inclined to part with a similar gift a second time. With enduring respect,
Along with the letter, 25 gold bars worth of value will be sent.

Lady Adriana enters the throne room with a slowly moving procession of gentry. They move as a mass of sparrow do in flight, not truly paying attention to their destination but instead watching the person in front of them to make sure the mass moves as one shifting group. It is not even certain that they are aware of the behavior themselves as they go about the march to the throne. Lady Adriana stops at the throne, unbowed and smiling as the rest of her retinue make their bows to the Archpriestess. A few are even adherents of the faith, though their numbers are a small fraction of those in attendance. "I thank you for the warm welcome, I bring the regard of my people to you and yours."
