TRAITS
Saul’s Old Pal: You’ve always been at Saul Vancaskerkin’s side, even when he crossed the wrong crime lord and lost almost everything he had for it. The two of you go back a long way, with you frequently pulling him out of one jam or another and he occasionally doing the same for you. Many people have told you that your friendship with Saul is destined to end badly and that you should have cut him loose a long time ago; on bad days, some part of you is inclined to agree with them. But you’ve stuck with each other through thick and thin, and that’s not the sort of thing you could just throw away. Now that Saul’s making his grand comeback with the ‘Cheat the Devil and Take His Gold’ tournament, it’ll be just like the old days… right? Your stubbornness grants you a +1 trait bonus to Will Saves.

Reactionary:You were bullied often as a child, but never quite developed an offensive response. Instead, you became adept at anticipating sudden attacks and reacting to danger quickly.

You gain a +2 trait bonus on initiative checks.

Special Abilities

Sneak Attack

If a rogue can catch an opponent when he is unable to defend himself effectively from her attack, she can strike a vital spot for extra damage.

The rogue’s attack deals extra damage anytime her target would be denied a Dexterity bonus to AC (whether the target actually has a Dexterity bonus or not), or when the rogue flanks her target. This extra damage is 1d6 at 1st level, and increases by 1d6 every 2 rogue levels thereafter. Ranged attacks can count as sneak attacks only if the target is within 30 feet. This additional damage is precision damage and is not multiplied on a critical hit.

With a weapon that deals nonlethal damage (such as a sap, unarmed strike, or whip), a rogue can make a sneak attack that deals nonlethal damage instead of lethal damage. She cannot use a weapon that deals lethal damage to deal nonlethal damage in a sneak attack—not even with the usual –4 penalty.

The rogue must be able to see the target well enough to pick out a vital spot and must be able to reach such a spot. A rogue cannot sneak attack while striking a creature with total concealment.
Trapfinding

A rogue adds 1/2 her level on Perception checks to locate traps and on Disable Device checks (minimum +1). A rogue can use Disable Device to disarm magic traps.

Finesse Training (Ex)

At 1st level, a rogue gains Deft Maneuvers as a bonus feat. In addition, starting at 3rd level, she can select any one weapon group listed under the fighter’s Weapon Training class feature. Once this choice is made, it cannot be changed. Whenever she makes a successful melee attack with a finesse weapon or an agile weapon from this group, she adds her Dexterity modifier instead of her Strength modifier to the damage roll. If any effect would prevent the rogue from adding her Strength modifier to the damage roll, she does not add her Dexterity modifier. The rogue can select a second weapon group at 11th level and a third at 19th level.

Appearance
Krystal is a Mwangi woman who has nevertheless dresses in accordance to Riddleport rogue. She is of average height with curly hair, brown eyes and a rectangular face. Her dress varies depending on what kind of attention she's seeking. When trying to blend in she wears dark clothes when in stealth or unassuming wear to blend in with a crowd. When trying to impress, she puts on clothes that will often draw attention towards her.

Personality:
As one would expect from a follower of Calistria, Krystal is a friendly flirt who likes to live life to the fullest. In the later case, it helps her to forget the various rough periods of her life. She is cocky in her abilities but isn't above fighting dirty if things don't go her way. As expected from a thief she prefers to use stealth or charm her way out of situations over a straight up fight. Unlike most followers of the favored Sting, she isn't too hard on someone who manages to outplay her in a scheme. She likes to talk a lot of bravado, but she generally doesn't like to pull innocent people into her life.

Background
Riddleport can be a rather rough and tumble place. For Krystal, she wouldn't have it any other way. She has known the streets for as long as she had remembered when she was raised under one of the many Sczarni gangs. It was there where she learned how to lie, cheat and steal her way to amassing valuables. With that said, she was never truly a fan of the gang's more murderous habits, and one grisly incident sent her running.

She briefly found solace in the House of Silken Veil, and while she relished in the church's hedonism she didn't have much of a stomach to adhere for its vengeance part. It was there where she met Saul, a man seeking solace for the death of his latest wife. As it turned out, he merely wanted a conversation out of her rather than any carnal comfort. In a turn of events, it also caused her to help out in his cause.

Soon, she would change jobs yet again in becoming his confidant in his various schemes. When one of them was at their lowest, the other had some plan to help them out of debt. With that said, the friendship is one of circumstance with both sides often playing the other out of cash. Yet neither of them would hold it out on the other... at least in the long term. After all, what's the point of living without taking any risks?

While the two are not above flirting up a storm and have even sometimes gotten intimate, the two remain friends... with benefits. She suspects that Saul would rather not be heartbroken yet again, and she would prefer it that way anyways.
