Yeah, it's almost always the player, I know. I just needed somewhere to vent today. Been around since season 5ish, and today was the WORST day of gaming I've had in a long time - on either side of the screen - and I needed
somewhere to lay blame. (Though I will say actually dealing with it from the other side of the screen is also unpleasant. But at least you have that option.)

Just frustrating.

Anybody else seen an uptick in disruptive play from players who are playing goblin characters? Maybe it's just that my play style differs greatly from the style in my new location, but I don't find it particularly enjoyable to spend my time cleaning up after a character that, in pf1, would've been arrested in the first act.

Yeah, I knew it was either that or the bonus to hit after catching someone on fire. I couldn't remember which and wasn't in a position to look it up. :)

Initiative modifier is far more useful. There's no potion to get you +4 initiative for half an hour (or 20 mins or whatever). But when you need fire resistance, you need it!

Ray, I don't see any way of doing it either. On the up side, you have IUS, so you can still attack if you do decide to drop the mace.

He only knows that he's seen summons before. (Fran just did it, for one.) They don't stay around forever!

Quick question - Did Rennec move at more than half speed? If yes, did you account for the +10 to the DC? DC, as I understand, would be CMD +14. At that rate, it looks like everybody would get an attack as he went by (unless you count Ray as being +10, Fran +12, and Thomas +14, which is certainly one reasonably way to rule it.)

Lol, no worries. That's the first time I've used burning infusion on him, I think. The other two times I've had to move or move action or something. (Can't gather power with a wand in your hand, for example.)
I just knew it might come up, so I thought I'd get out ahead of it.

Honestly, I usually just say, "you folks have spent, what, about 3 minutes in that room? So you'll have bless for the next one." If there's discussion, I'll entertain a little of it then make a call.

I don't get that granular. It breaks immersion too much.

Kriklishik takes a 5ft step down the hall, holds his hands laterally, palms up. The air takes a decidedly cold shift in the room as the space around Kriklishik shimmers like a desert mirage. Candles and torches bend toward him, and their flames seem to stretch to meet him.

I wonder what would happen if you cast silence on a spot of glass in a window, then broke the window right around that spot? It might cover the whole event, since the spot (and thus the silence spell) would be both in the window when it broke and at the floor when the glass landed!

(Not that I'm advocating doing that; I like this plan better!)

That stable was what I meant.

Kriklishik casts spark on the alarm pull. If it doesn't burn readily, he'll do it a few times in a few places, until he's broken it.

If it DOES burn readily, he'll use fire sculptor to keep it from spreading out of reach and into the house.

You forgot the +5 to intimidate from the mask, but it sounds like you are trying to do a Bluff check instead.

I figured they already believed my initial bluff. But the modifiers are the same. You can treat it like a bluff.
