I've been mixing up Shimmer and Effin the whole game so far. It wasn't until the last two posts that I figured it out.

Kel stuck his head around the corner and made a crushing motion with his hand. His otherworldly eyes smoked. The barricade creaked and warped...

Shatter on the barricade, effecting a 20 pound chunk of it. I'll aim for where I think the support brackets are. It might get a saving throw (will, of all things). DC is 16

Just realized I had my racial skill bonuses in the wrong place. I'd looked at the Devil Spawn line for them instead of the Demon Spawn one.

Kel had never seen anything like this. He stood and stared for a while, taking in thew amazing sight.

Since they're posing as crusaders, i assumed they had iomedaen holy symbols in addition to the hidden bull head symbols.

"That's a good point. There probably aren't many Grippli priests, but there's probably a lot of Tieflings. I might be able to pull off a disguise like that." Kel said.

Kel waited back with the injured, keeping well clear of the bodies. After what had happened in the dwarven temple he wanted to be sure the vulnerable members of their group were well out of harm's way.

Kel was still a little banged up, but he wasn't going to let that slow the group down. Aravashniel's magic was still bolstering him but he knew that wouldn't last forever. "I'm alright. Lets get moving."

Kel stands back with the unconscious dwarf. He thought it was a little odd that he wasn't asked to lift the heavy things given that he was pretty sure he was the strongest of their number, but he said nothing, simply watching the dwarf and trying to keep an eye out while the others worked.

Kel said, mostly for Aravashniel's benefit. "I'm going to get him back here where it's safe. Be right back."

Move forward to the mouth of the tunnel next to Dennis and drag him backwards.

Kel squeezes ahead of Aravashniel, effectively switching places with him in the narrow corridor. He looks over his shoulder at the more vulnerable members of their group. "Let's just stay back here out of the line of fire. Argus, can you keep your eyes peeled behind us in case the crazed dwarf has friends?"

Unless people start dropping like flies I'm going to stay back to guard the NPCs.

It probably wouldn't have mattered, but I'm in the middle of the pack of NPCs, and with Combat Reflexes I can use Bodyguard even when flat footed, so I should have been able to boost Horgus' AC. It may be relevant in the future, so I figured I'd bring it up.

Kel shoved Horgus as the creature came down from above, reacting on sheer instinct. "Look out!"

He hadn't been able to save Horgus from a nasty blow, but the creature wasn't able to get it's tendrils wrapped around the nobleman.

Once they started traveling again Kel had sword in hand. This place was dangerous. He was glad he'd had the forethought. Gripping his blade in two hands he chopped down at the hides creature in front of him.
