![]() So in my game, I'm building up the Order of the Crux as an antagonist. My plan is to roll up the 3 leaders who rose as Graveknights using builds to represent the 3 builds for Deathknights in World of Warcraft. I know, so original! My preplanning has the first one representing the Blood Specialization, having him an acid based to represent his burning blood and toying with a Magus. He'll be more martial based with extra magical toys, corrosive touch for spellstrike. For the other two, I'm thinking possibly Bloodrager with an Ice based bloodline, I haven't looked extensively into it. The other, I was leaning towards Cleric of Urgathoa. I wanted it a bit more castery than Anti-Paladin. So I'm really here to crowdsource ideas, what best presents each, and what is going to be fun to run. ![]()
![]() I'm toying with the idea of a Summoner with an Eidolon based off of Gilgamesh from the Final Fantasy series. I was playing with giving him mutliple arms and tons of weapons, but that costs so much money... I was thinking instead of having extra arms with slam attacks that hold replicas of swords... Help me! I need help! ![]()
![]() So I'm a team kinda guy. I've always liked small elite squads, probably what drew me to tabletop. So, I love the different orders of knights, organizations and guilds Paizo has presented in Golarion. I'm really interested in some groups other players have created in their home games, whether you're a GM who made one to hassle their players or a player who used Leadership to found a group for a certain cause. In Wrath of the Righteous, I worked with my GM to create a commando group named Vigilance. With the assistance of much divine and arcane magic, they had managed to have a fort within the Worldwound named Bastion, which was destroyed and wiped out all the members prior to the campaign, except my character of course. I drew inspiration from the Grey Wardens of Dragonage, the Night's Watch of Game of Thrones/A Song of Fire and Ice, military special forces and some Arthurian Legend for their brotherhood. Now, during the campaign, my Slayer is working to rebuild them to help close the Worldwound for good. I wrote up a Google Doc all about their organization including a brief history and how they operate. ![]()
![]() I'm playing a sword and shield wielding Slayer in WotR and primarily want the shield as a weapon. My understanding is that you treat a shield as two separate items when it comes to AC and when it comes to weapon enhancements. So I feel like I could enhance my shield as a +1 Holy Evil Outsider Bane weapon (+4 bonus, 32,000gp) and then enhance it as a +5 Bashing Shield (+6,36,000gp). After I get Shield Master, I effectively have a +8 weapon for 68,000gp. Does this sound right? That's around half the cost if I just had a sword. On top of this, could I continue enhancing it so the combined bonus goes over +10, say with Evil Outsider Defiant? Or would I be stuck right there? ![]()
![]() I love Golarion and I spent a lot of time going over the Inner Sea world guide and other sources to learn about the world. Unfortunately, my DM loooves FR and decided to start a campaign there. I only say unfortunately because I know close to nothing about FR besides the little I learned from Neverwinter Nights 2 and my short time playing DnD 4E, which broke my DMs heart and he refuses to acknowledge. So the FR Wiki apparently is a mix of good and bad information. So does anyone know of any good online sources to learn about Forgotten Realms? Or dates at least so I can sort out what will be good and bad info... So far I've gotten away with playing a cloistered cleric of Kelemvor who is just now venturing out and my friend is explaining everything to me as his Sun Elf Wizard. ![]()
![]() So I'm currently playing a campaign in the Forgotten Realms as a Cleric of Kelemvor with the Repose and Travel domains. And I've fallen in love with Fast Movement. I'm looking at rolling up another character soon and I know of a few other classes with it like Barbarians and Monks, are there any other classes with access to it? I'm a big fan of medium/heavy armor wearers, I just hate being slow. Are there any like fighter archtypes that give you fast movement or anything? 20 Move speed is the only thing stopping me from playing a fighter... ![]()
![]() We're looking at making a base of operations with the new Ultimate Combat book and we're toying with ideas (apparently I can't open a mint and make unlimited money...) and so far we're looking at an Inn, Fort or someway of making an Inn with our base on the back, hopefully low profile half secret base. So I want ideas to dazzle my group! I'm curious about what you guys have come up with and cost if you know it. ![]()
![]() One of my group members and I were talking about how much we love rogues/stealthies and we came up with the idea of an all stealth group. I'm looking for ideas of group combos that are effective if we chose to go this route next campaign. We are a 3 person group, my friend is a champ min/maxer with a great mind for strategy and tactics, the other girl is pretty new and knows her way around combat all right and I'm in between. I typically check out optimzation guides and then throw in my flavor abilities. The past couple games one of us has played a fourth character to round out weaknesses. We mostly stick to Human, Elves and HElves, I go as far as Tiefling and Aasimar, but if you got a really good concept, maybe I'll branch out into a new race. But I'll take full builds, concepts that are effective, whatever you got! Even if you don't think I'll go for, send it anyways. |
