Female Human Rogue/Swashbuckler 1/4

I think you know by now that I won't be leaving any of your games until you pry them from my cold dead fingers Pat... ;)

Female Human Rogue/Swashbuckler 1/4

Joleesa will end up somewhere around n8 so she can get a clear shot up to the second floor and then she'll continue with her stated action.

Female Human Rogue/Swashbuckler 1/4

Joleesa attempts to draw a bead on the flitting shapes before a bolt of flame leaps from the end of the strange weapon she is now pointing at one of the holes.

Attack with Wand Rifle using ray of flame: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
Fire Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 4
The target must also make a Reflex Save or catch fire, taking 1d6 points of fire damage immediately and then another 1d6 fire damage each round until the flames are put out (DC 15 Reflex Save; Core Rulebook p.444 Catching Fire).

Perception Check: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18

Joleesa looks up at Tobias and Egan's warning, but all she can make out is a distinct lack of noise. "I can't hear... well anything. Like everything went quiet all of a sudden." She whispers from the shadows.

Female Human Rogue/Swashbuckler 1/4

Joleesa pulls the strange weapon from her back and gives it a once over, making sure the wands are secure in their barrels, before taking up a position where she can see Izkrael but not be noticed herself.

Stealth Check: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (7) + 11 = 18

Female Human Rogue/Swashbuckler 1/4

Joleesa hears mention of someone acting as bait and her eyes widen slightly. She looks down at her arms and back to the group but keeps her mouth shut as Tobias and Izkrael both start talking.

"I for one hope to get out of here with my skin still attached."

Joleesa looks down at her arm and winces. "Yeah, I've become quite attatched to my skin and wouldn't be happy to see someone wearing it like a dress." She glances around the area, but seems too distracted to notice anything out of the ordinary.

Female Human Rogue/Swashbuckler 1/4

Joleesa follows the others along the corridor, although she seems distracted, rubbing her arm every few minutes despite the fact that Ten healed all of the wounds the Rot Grubs inflicted.
Once they enter the cenote however, her sense of wonder is piqued and she gazes around at the village suspended along the walls. She agrees with Tobias' suggestion about the windowed structure and heads inside with the others to have a look around.

Perception Check: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15

I'm so sorry guys. Work has once more been a freakin' nightmare and the last week has seen me totally worn out, to the point where I have been going to bed at the same time as the kids instead of staying up to do my internets. :(

Pat:
Pat I'm really sorry. I have had far too many absences lately and I apologise. If you want me to drop out then I fully understand.
If however you want me to stay, Jo would have thanked San and Ten for the assistance. She also would have tried re-examining the offal filled bowl, this time with both her Rapiers, pushing the offal out of the bowl to see if any more of the grubs are present and trying to get to the item she felt. Whether or not she found it, she would have followed the others to the cenote.
It's your call and I will abide by your decision.

Female Human Rogue/Swashbuckler 1/4

Just re-posting this as it appears you missed the Highlighted Section Pat

Finished with the gems, she sheathes Raptorstrike and walks over to the sacrificial bowl. She looks inside and wrinkles her nose at the gore inside. Out of the corner of her eye she thinks ahe sees something under a rather dense slop of rotten flesh. Sighing, she rolls up her sleeves and holds her breath, poking around in the foul material.

Yeah sorry about that Pat. I had (self inflicted) problems with my internet... :/

Seeing the thing fall to Sanvoros, Joleesa rushes over to Ten and kneels beside him. When Sanvoros comes over and administers the potion, she thanks him profusly when the big Priest stirs. She gives Tena mock punch in his over large shoulder as he wakes up, telling him to be more careful next time.
She makes her way over to the inert stone and pokes around in the leftover rubble, looking for anything worthwhile.
Perception Check: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

I'll get Jo levelled up over the weekend, so I hope we don't have anymore fights until next week! ;)

Seeing the idol going for Ten, Joleesa steps in while it's distracted and swings Raptorstrike at it's back.

Attack Idol of Xipe Totec with Raptorstrike: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13 I doubt that will hit (again... grrr) but just in case
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Joleesa stops abruptly and shakes her head. "Well that can't be good," she intones dryly.

Joleesa steps close to the Statue, Raptorstrike in hand as she wrinkles her nose and searches around the idol for anything amiss.

Perception Check: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
mmm... Joleesa likes red gemstones if you haven't already guessed by looking at her Eye Patch. :D

Female Human Rogue/Swashbuckler 1/4

Joleesa stifles a giggle as she waches the huge form of Ten try to run them down as he escapes from the tiny spiders. She nods at Sanvoros' plan and falls in behind them as they make their way down the passage.

Female Human Rogue/Swashbuckler 1/4

Finally free of the sticky strands, Jo swings Raptorstrike once more at the spider in front of her, hoping to distract it away from Vilya.

Attack Albino Cave Spider with Raptorstrike: 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 8 + 1 = 28
Confirm Critical Hit: 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 8 + 1 = 21

Flush from her successful attacks on the Spiders, Joleesa grins and weighs in with Raptorstrike once more. Her overconfidence is her undoing however as the slim blade narrowly misses the foe before her.

Attack Albino Cave Spider with Raptorstrike: 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 8 + 1 = 23 This roll is actually a 13... I hit reply after making some changes and it re-rolled after I had to retype some stuff... :/

Don't worry about retconning it, it was my stupidity. I'll just make sure I remember for next round. :(

Female Human Rogue/Swashbuckler 1/4

Joleesa shakes her head to clear it of the momentary wave of dizziness, then once more swings Raptorstrike at the wounded spider before her.

In my head, why do I keep coming back to the time in our Pen & paper game when the Dragon swooped down on the guy crossing the bridge and knocked him into the chasm...

"Maybe we should try and see what's down there as well," says Joleesa pointing to the light below them. "Anyone have enough rope to get down that far, or even some kind of levitation or flying spell?"

Female Human Rogue/Swashbuckler 1/4

Joleesa's cry as the spike pirces her calf can be heard echoing down the tunnels alerting the group to her predicament and earning her a quick release (and an even quicker scolding from the seasoned Egan for running off on her own). She returns to fing the Skeletons mere dust and bone fragments and thanks ten for his God's benefits, wincing a little as the gaping wound on her leg closes.

Once at the Chasm, she watches Tobias and Ten work their magic and attempts to see what their lights reveal.

Oh crap I forgot about the trap in the other corridor...

Reflex Save: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11

Sigh
It seems it isn't just the dice rollers that hate me. I had Pen & Paper D&D last night and my Character died. In 2 hours I rolled two d20 dice over 8 (and this was in battle, so there were quite a few Attacks and Spell Saves to be rolled). One was an 11 and still missed and the other was an 18 and all that did was mean that I didn't confirm a Critical Fumble. I seem to have really good luck whenever I have to roll up a Character's Stats but lousy luck when I'm actually playing. :(

Female Human Rogue/Swashbuckler 1/4

Joleesa makes her way with great haste around the back and down the right hand corridor so she can come at the Skeletons from the side she reaches R20. Once she gets there however, she finds nothing but dust and she looks over at Ten, knowing that this was his handywork and giving him a smile.
She then continues on down the corridor with the others, staying to the rear to protect them in case something decides to attack from behind.
Once they reach the chasm she lets out a low whistle and joins Ten to peer over the edge into darkness.

Female Human Rogue/Swashbuckler 1/4

Joleesa nods at Tobias with a smile and ushers him forward.

Female Human Rogue/Swashbuckler 1/4

Joleesa looks around the room once more and says to the others, "with three passages, I don't want anything coming at us from behind, so I'll take one of those light spells as well if you have one and take the rear to make sure nothing attacks our less martial members from behind." She waits until the others are all down the passage before following them down, making sure to continually glance behind her as she goes.

Yes she can move and Attack, but only with one weapon. To attack wwith more than one Attack in a Round from any source, be it 2nd Weapon, Iterative Attack or even Natural Weapons, you need to have a Full Round Action available (ie. you need to use both your Move Action and Standard Action).

In the case of Skeletons, I assume Vilya would be using her Mace as her primary Weapon, yes?
Yes. Sorry about that. Combat rules always confuse the hell out of me.

np :)

Female Human Rogue/Swashbuckler 1/4

Smiling as her attack shatters bone, she once again swings her Mace in at the Skeleton before her, mindful of an attack from her blind side by the other Skeleton.

Joleesa moves forward with a look of determination on her face (M13) and takes a swing at the skeleton directly in front of her (N13) with her Mace.

Joleesa thinks for a moment before drawing her Mace and readying it in her left hand. She wasn't about to do a Vilya and fight with both weapons, but sh'd be daned if she was going to face bones without something to pulverise them with. "Always be prepared," she whispers to herself.
