Lone Wolf Development has just announced what would appear to be a new Paizo policy.

http://www.wolflair.com/blog/2017/02/06/realm-works-content-market/

Specifically that when a partner publishes a Paizo product in some new format the only way to purchase the new format product will be to buy, or to already own through Paizo, the PDF of the same product.

I have some thoughts on this.

1) Are you guys going to take steps to make buying physical copies of your books worthwhile? Specifically when bought through a FLGS? Have you considered joining http://www.bits-and-mortar.com/ or doing something similar?

2) Some of us have a substantial amount of your product dating back to a time when there were no PDF's or before portable devices became common. I bought Rise of the Runelords not long after it first came out. I then bought the anniversary hardcover from my FLGS because I wanted the hardcover and the update to PF rules was appealing. I very much want the Realm Works version to make the next time I run it even better but the prospect of buying the PDF(s) and then the RW package is more than a bit daunting.

I know you are skeptical of new mediums and have to protect your income but this policy strikes me as bad for retailers and bad for your oldest customers.

Our lodge is discussing starting high level play over the winter once we get another Eyes run finished.

Talking to the VL no one had more than a generic idea of "we want to play our high level characters." I know I saw a discussion on here about a progression of modules and AP's that takes you to Race for the Rune Carved Key and level 20 but I'm not sure if there is a specific order in between and my search fu is failing me.

Can someone who knows more about the subject fill me in or direct me to what I need to know?

Without getting to spoilery there is a scenario where you can receive an item which is cursed but gives you a very big benefit. The item is on the chronicle sheet where it is clearly labeled as cursed. The Guide to Organized Play clearly says a character cannot stay cursed but if the character cannot stay cursed the item is useless. I've checked for an FAQ or anything else on this. There doesn't seem to be anything.

I am prepping this for Monday and it looks overall very good. All the statblocks seem to be present which is nice.

Spoiler:
I do wonder about the issue of checking players for chronicle sheets on other characters. Should I announce in advance that I will be doing this? Surely this will eventually become common knowledge so it would be unfair to not tell my players the first week the scenario is out?

Just as a warning to anyone prepping this there is a stablock missing.

Spoiler:
You need the poacher from the NPC codex for the hi tier. And you might want to have the tyrannosaur from the bestiary just in case the players refuse to run.
