You're right, it's d4s. That should be then 3d4 + 6 ⇒ (2, 3, 1) + 6 = 12 damage instead.

Walking up and not being in the ship is weird enough, given she was there when she went to sleep in his hammock. But what she finds here...

Out of pure instinct, she tries to reach her blade, and actually unsheathes it, but not knowing who's who and why - or even what - makes her ace a bit more cautiously. Opening her hand and pointing at one random opponent - probably one of those demonic things - she produced a splash of acid that travels to its face.

Acid Splash: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22 Touch
Damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Hey, Azarra! I'm applying to another FR game here in Paizo. I'm thinking my character there might use Azarra as the name of his contact, who might introduce him to the Harpers later on, in game, and as "quest giver" who's driven him to where he is now. I'll also acknowledge she's one of the Heroes of Phlan and a Watcer of Dawn. You know, my way of making your character "live" a bit longer in payment for all the good times we've had with you. I hope you don't mind! (and if you do, let me know and I'll just change the name).

The sense that all is orchestrated to drive them here makes Ishta's mind freeze for a moment. The situation is hard to label, but a feeling of cosmic horror or fate mischief is what she would use if asked.

Fighting the urge to run away or pee her knickers, she shakes her head. "Okay!" she says, out loud but more to herself than anything. "Okay, okay, we're gonna do this. We're gonna play against the odds. The dice are loaded, but nothing's over till it's over."

She can feel the Flumefire run through her veins. This lich is going to burn.

Before anything, and once Azarra comes back, Ishta tried a protective invocation on the group. She's not sure if will work, but it's better to try than not.

Nondetection, Communal on everyone but Azarra. 1 Mythic point and 1 reservoir. That should be 11 hours long, between us three, we have... 3 hours 40 minutes each.

"I think we could harm or even destroy that crystal chair with sonic magic" she ventures to say. "Azarra has some of that, I think."

Then they discuss their next steps, but it all seems to driver then to the council building.

"I can indeed teleport us there, if not from here, at least from a safe distance, I guess. But we need to decide when do we want to rest - I'm spending my magics way quicker than I would have liked to."

With the other half of her brain, Ishta is trying to remember something particular that Cadorna always used to wear our carry. Maybe, she thinks, they can use it to locate him easier.

Alright so I had some little misconceptions then xD

Ishta thinks Ser just had a good idea, so she pops all the group close to where they entered the sewers. That way they can go back to the street without the dangers of suddenly appearing near a patrol or worse. From there, be once they decide their way, they can teleport again.

DD doesn't require seeing the target location, so it's just a matter of Ishta visualizing a nice spot, since we've been here before.

Immediately after dispelling the barrier, the golem starts to move. Ishta quickly followed her gestures with some more, another arcane phrase sprouts from her lips and some sweat drops fall from her brow. She runs forward and puts her hand on the stone and earth under the golem's feet, which start adapting and moving, forming a hole that adjusts and wraps around the construct's ankles. In an instant, the ground acts as some shackles that prevent any movement hopefully.

That'll be another mythic point to cast Stone Shape.

Isha looks at each of her friends and checks for confirmation. When all are ready, she starts the party by dispelling the wall of force.

Dispel Magic, Eldritch Breach: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25

Then we'll go with the Stone Shape, because the spell says you've got to touch the stone.

Stone Shape and Transmute Rock to Mud are 5th and 6th level spells, sadly.

Edit: not Stone Shape, that's available. I'm actually skimming through the spell list to find out which ones I can use to help (the ones which don't allow SR).

It's fine for the Chain Lighting, as I always wanted to use that spell. But my CL is not that good. Fireball is capped at 10 dice since it can't be meta'ed (that was mostly the point of my question). But it's a back up in case I spend all my spell slots and Mythic points (though I doubt I'll be alive by then :p).

But before we go, here, this could be helpful." She makes some gestures and whispers a few words in Draconic, putting an enchantment on the strange Varney that she knows is her friend.

Ishta gets the whole picture - if they manage to remove the collar and get the dragon out of the cage, all should be fine.

Easier said than done, though. Fortunately, she somehow glimpses the sheep carcasses, and then thinks out loud "Maybe we can spread the sauce on one of those" and she points to the ovine corpses with her chin. She looks around, thinking a bucket from where the dragon could drink would be perfect, but there doesn't seem to be one nearby.

Ishta looks towards Kards until he returns her gaze, then she makes a sign of following her. She capitalizes from the chaos to sneak backstage and join Azarra and Ser.

Knowing that the enchantment is around there, Ishta uses one of her tricks on her and then on Kardas, so they're not forced to turn back.

Touch of Rage (Orc Bloodline power) gives +4 on Will saves. Lasts for one round only, but I guess that should suffice. Ishta will use it n Kardas also. Azarra has passed the save, and Ser shouldn't have problems with it (broken palas! :P).

Will save: 1d20 + 8 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 8 + 4 = 21

Before going further inside, she throws a las look around in case she sees the girl with the illusion spells again, commenting what she saw to Azarra.

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29

Right, so here's Nioku.

I know, it was Uriah, but then I remembered one of my favourite heroes of all time, coming from the Earthdawn RPG, and changed it all over.

Still the same - Half orc ranged Warpriest, special member of the local militia with the Lawbringer trait.

I know Warpriest don't pack much in a 4-man game - they lack skills, their divine casting is secondary and focused towards self buffs, not very tanky, not very anything. What can I say? I love the character and that was the perfect game for her. I promise with a few more levels she can deal tremendous damage, and we'll work towards balancing her weak points a bit.

About me, well, I won't say anything, because I might unintentionaly lie. I'm sure you have your methods, so you're encouraged to go check. If you don't like what you see, we'll give you your money back :)

From her position in the crowd, and waiting for the right moment when everybody's distracted - such as when Azarra is hurled by the dragon - Ishta quickly gestures and murmurs some incantation. "Varney must have some magicians under payroll. It would be helpful to know who they are."

When the bodies are in the holes and properly covered in their sheets, Sam climbs on top of a box so as to be seen. He waits for everyone to stop and look at him. With a serious face, he rises one of his papers. On it, it can be read:

"WE'RE HERE TO SAY GOODBYE TO THESE LOVELY PEOPLE"

He holds it high for long enough for everyone to read. Then he picks the next one.

"THEY WERE APPRECIATED BY THEIR BEES AND THAT'S HOW WE KNOW THEY WERE GOOD FOLKS"

A third one.

"SO ALL WE CAN DO TO HONOUR THEM IS GRANT THEM A PROPER BURIAL AND WISH THEM GOOD AFTERLIFE TOGETHER"

And a fourth one.

"TO BE REMEMBERED AND LOVED AFTER DEATH IS ONE OF THE HIGHEST GIFTS LIFE CAN GIVE YOU"

After the fourth, he comes down from the box and gives the papers to Willow, gently pushing her and pointing at the improvised altar. His mouth keeps moving, forming the words Easy. You. Try.
