Takes courage to come to a decision like that GM, and I wish you the best of luck in the future. Currently going through some of the things on your list myself so I can definitely sympathize with where you are coming from.

Thank you also for taking the time to let us know - it means a lot. Even though this is coming to an end, it was still an enjoyable game while it lasted, so thank you for that.

All the best GM with everything that you do~

Ishana moves closer to the downed and unconscious pink troll, and does her best to hit it a few more times, determined to reduce the impact of its regeneration.

Dagger + Power Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Damage: 1d4 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

GM will you give us a visual clue or notification if a troll is low enough to actually die should we stop regeneration? I have access to one flask of Alchemists Fire (given by Marcus) but I don't want to waste it on Pink unless its definitely "low' enough to be killed by it. Just needing to know this, because its the difference between me hitting it a few times or fully killing it this round with Alchemists Fire.

There's no grid section which makes it tough, but I was 35 feet off the map, and then double moved, which should put me 25 feet into the map (approximately, but I don't want to be right in the middle of melee combat. I *think* Melira has taken one (if not two) move actions in the last few rounds, so I should be near / next to here as an approximate guideline. If I have enough movement speed to be anywhere, then I'm probably positioning myself around where Aisha is. I'm sick with flu tho atm so its possible I'm missing something obvious

Ishana follows Melira, running towards the group so that she could get a little closer to the action.

I think I can clip both Blue and Pink in my AOE without also affecting Marcus, but if not (or if I can only get one), I'll focus on Blue.

Ishana launches a Burst of Radiance spell at the trolls, lacking the tools to stop the regeneration, decides to hinder them as much as she could.

Burst of Radiance: 4d4 ⇒ (1, 2, 4, 1) = 8
DC 17 Reflex to avoid Blinded

Did we identify the troll yet? It seemed to regenerate even after taking fire damage from Lyon which is...unusual.

Ishana knew that like the others, she also wasn't supremely good at keeping quiet and hiding. Disguising herself yes, but sneaking no so much. Therefore the arcanist hangs back, along with Marcus and Kaussek, confident that she could rush into the battle and attack from rang should the scouts get themselves into a little bit of trouble.

Female Half-Elf Arcanist (Brown Fur) 4 | HP 32/32 | AC13 T11 FF12 | CMD 16 | F+4 R+4 W+4 (+2 to all saving throws against enchantment) |Init +2 | Perc +2 | Senses: Low Light Vision |Spells 1st - 6/6 2nd - 2/3 | Arcane Reservoir 4/11

Ishana frowns, shading her eyes looking upwards at the mountain, before giving up slightly. "We will need to be super careful, because this time we need to trigger an ambush on our terms, or all of our tactics go out the window. Lyon needs invisibility and that unfortunately won't last forever"

The arcanist pauses for a moment before looking at Melira "Actually, how long will your invisibility spell last again? Did you prepare three of them for today?"

Female Half-Elf Arcanist (Brown Fur) 4 | HP 32/32 | AC13 T11 FF12 | CMD 16 | F+4 R+4 W+4 (+2 to all saving throws against enchantment) |Init +2 | Perc +2 | Senses: Low Light Vision |Spells 1st - 6/6 2nd - 2/3 | Arcane Reservoir 4/11

"The good news, is that the farmers will probably be happier with these ogre-kin out of the way" Ishana reflects, observing the aftermath of the battle. "I think they will still need to be prepared for bandits but aside from that hazard we haven't come across anything too severe that should threaten them...yet"

Ishana waits for the effects of Lyon's attack to see if the hobgoblin can weather the storm of bullets. When the smoke clears, she blasts a burst of magic missiles in its direction - unless Lyon had already made short work in which case she targets the shaman.

Magic Missile: 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (4, 3) + 2 = 9

I’m still here and ready to continue with the fight. Agreed with Lyon that it’s much better to proceed with hunting down Varn after we rest and try and win R2

Hard to know if I'm still within range of the hobgoblin that might change my action slightly. Assuming that I'm not though, I'll do this.

Ishana observes the shaman attempt a spell and decides to react defensively. She readies herself to cast a Magic Missile spell at the Shaman, should she attempt to cast a further spell, hoping to disrupt the spellcasting on further rounds.

Female Half-Elf Arcanist (Brown Fur) 4 | HP 32/32 | AC13 T11 FF12 | CMD 16 | F+4 R+4 W+4 (+2 to all saving throws against enchantment) |Init +2 | Perc +2 | Senses: Low Light Vision |Spells 1st - 6/6 2nd - 2/3 | Arcane Reservoir 4/11

"I'll stay towards the back. I can try and blind him again if required, but that shouldn't be needed so long as we have a large numbers advantage" Ishana remarks quietly, a little anxious to stay out of the line of fire this time around, but still be in a position to help.

In spite of her injuries, Ishana manages a light smile at Aisha's remark. "I would like to have a diplomatic debate with you sometime, on that topic perhaps when we are not quite so pressed for time. Its my belief that Abjuration is better suited defensively, while Illusion has the most creative uses. I'll admit that I'm not particularly well versed on either school though, as I'm studying transmutation which unfortunately has limited use at present."

Ishana is happy to converse with Aisha at leisure on this topic, but quietens down when the rest of the party begins tracking the hobgoblin, not wanting to give their position away.

Ishana winces slightly, before the healing magic takes hold.

"Thank you sir" she remarks to Ven in gratitude, before turning her attention to Aisha.

"I don't quite know what sort of spells you might be referring to. I have a minor cantrip that is sort of a half illusion spell to make noises, but that is all that I have prepared for today that is from the illusion school."

GM:

Ishana feels a little sad as she observes the carrion birds feeding on the horses, it wasn't their fault that their masters had abandoned them. She glances briefly at the stable to see if she can spot any surviving horses but isn't particularly hopeful.

Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Moving on, Ishana is surprised to find no weapons in the Smithy, before realising that the completed weapons probably find their way to the fort itself, which would explain the stack of weaponry there. None of the team had shown much interest in blacksmithing so she doesn't spend much time in the smithy, seeing it clearly abandoned like the rest, giving it a quick once over.

Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

Curiosity sated, Ishana decides to visit the Town Jail. She predicts it too, to be likely abandoned but Ishana didn't like leaving things unknown unless she could help it.

GM:

Ishana spends a moment in the church in quiet reflection. She notes that Thorn would have taken great care in crafting this place, most likely by hand, in order to honor Erastil.

"You should help him you know" Ishana mutters towards the elk head. She wasn't really praying, but she knew that Churches were places of worship and if nothing else, it was still a way for her message to get heard.
"I don't know much about Thorn, but everything points to him being a pious man. He cared a great deal, building such a beautiful church, to honor you, and spread his faith. Its not my place to speak for him, I don't even worship the same deity as he does, but I think...I think he needs your guidance and support more than ever, whether he asks for it or not. He is lost and, I think that my friends and I are not strong enough to lead him back home. If you could be there for him in any way, that might give him comfort" she finishes in a soft tone. Part of Ishana though that it was a little foolish talking to the elk head - it wasn't going to be as if it would talk back. Nor did she think anything would happen or change, that some divine light would magically fix everything. She just felt that she needed to pass on a message on Thorn's behalf, since his mind was not his own.

Ishana spends five minutes or so, thinking and sitting quietly on a nearby pew, before quietly getting up and leaving. She walks through the church on her way out, seeing if there was anything she missed, and briefly checks the parsonage, before eventually deciding to leave, heading in the direction of Smithy.

Perfect

Ishana had already begun to walk away after her comments, but still managed to distantly her Lyon calling her incompetent. Inwardly, Ishana still felt responsible for the man dying, because it was her fault that her magic wasn't advanced enough to save everyone. She knew that Marcus had done all he could, and even with everything going right, separating the spellcasters, eliminating some ogrekin early, blinding the gunslinger and ogre, Kesten barely lived while the ogre alone took on three of them at once. Lyon's comments were hurtful, constantly sticking the boot into Marcus over and over again, instead of accepting that they were all responsible, in some small way, for what happened. Instead of accepting that, and moving on together as a team, Lyon was continuing to bring the topic up again and again, sticking the boot into Marcus at every opportunity, and it was this most of all that was distressing her.

The old, impulsive Ishana, would have immediately turned around after the insult, and unleashed every ounce of magical strength she had left but Ishana had mastered her impulses a few years back. She knew that it felt satisfying in the moment, but was never beneficial in the long term. So Ishana did what she always did when she felt particularly vengeful, she took a walk.

Taking deep breaths, she strolls through the town, deciding to explore it further and make productive use of the time. It bothered her that no-one, not even the inquisitive Aisha had searched further, but Ishana always like searching for as much knowledge as she could. Salazar had outmatched them today, but Ishana wanted to be better prepared for the rematch. Forming a checklist in her mind, Ishana decides to explore all the remaining buildings, starting with the Church, as she know Thorn would have spent time there. Usually, she would have asked someone to help her search, but it appeared that she was the only one that actually cared, so she decides to search alone. Ishana also wanted to privately check to see if the Church was still in good condition - while she didn't like the faith of Deadeye much, she knew that it would be important to many of the farmers in the town and was therefore worth protecting.

Just a heads up GM, but Ishana is not having dinner with the group. Calistrian's, in general, do not take insults particularly well, and Ishana would know IC that she struggles with this. So shes removing herself from a situation where she could lash out further and will explore somewhere else until she cools down.

Is it fine GM if she roams Varnhold (assuming its not like, super dangerous to do so), to explore some of the other area's that we never got around to looking at? Like maybe the Smithy, Church, Tavern, Jail, Chapel, Graveyard? I'm not looking for anything in particular, but it bugs Ishana that we never explored anything else aside from the fort and villa's, and there might be stuff to find (or not as the case might be).

Fair enough, I wasn't sure so I thought I might as well roll to be on the safe side

I'm not about ordering them to understand my view though GM. If I was Head of State, sure, but right now, I want to give them strong recommendations rather than orders, because I think an order would breed resentment. I'll roll Diplomacy, since its technically a request I'm still making.

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27

"I'm not stopping you from going farming Jimoth, you are right that success or failure regarding us dealing with the enchanter will likely not affect the farming situation."

"That said, what I am concerned about, are the ogres currently in the area. This is a group of ogres that have advanced weaponry, firearms, as well as magical strength. It took Marcus and myself to drive them away, and even that wasn't without casualties. Once we have dealt with the enchanter, then yes, we can ensure that the farming attempts can continue safely, with you being protected at all times. Without us though, Jimoth, you run the very real risk of being being attacked, or the fields being sabotaged, and any assistance not being forthcoming. Give us a few days, let us deal with the threat of the enchanter, and then we can return, protect the farming efforts, and eradicate the ogre threat."

***

Ishana glances at Lyon rather sharply. "I'm disappointed in you Lyon. Marcus has done nothing but help this group and the caravan. It was Marcus that made the decision to chase after the bandits, Marcus that led the charge against the Ogrekin, Marcus that helps the sick members of the caravan in his clinic, Marcus that burns his own vitality to ensure we can continue fighting after sustaining heavy damage."

"It was Marcus that, facing down an enemy that outnumbered us, had more advanced weaponry, magic, a defensible location, better battlefield positioning, and hostages had to formulate a plan to rescue members of this caravan in a short space of time, because people here in this group elected to leave the caravan undefended, for the sake of getting a single hour's head start on the day. All of that, and while Marcus was successful in driving the ogres away, we still lost a member of the caravan. Do you think that does not weigh on him? Instead of reflecting or taking ownership on your own small part or responsibility you share in what happened, you blame him, you kick him while he is down. Do you pull the wings off butterflies too, in your spare time?" she remarks, finishing in an icy cold tone before stalking away,

Yeah, Factory was just one example that I'm going with. The default list is excellent, but misses out the modern buildings.

Maybe you have a 'Sky Pier' for airships (if they become a thing). Maybe you have a railway (if trains become a thing). Maybe you have clockwork facilities, or power plants for generating technological stuff.

I'm not saying all of the above needs to be added, just mentioning that the standard building list is excellent and only lacks the higher technology buildings that would need to be added, or be treated as upgrades to existing buildings as per your preference GM

Quote:
Instead, I'm going to assign a few skills to each leadership role. There are no +bonuses to anything, but if an NPC leader has to solve a problem, they do it through a skill check. If a PC leader has to solve a problem, they do it through RP.

I really, really like this idea.

Skimmed through the document, everything looks pretty exciting, roles, kingdom building, setting up ministers, trade, diplomacy etc etc. Definitely lots of things to look forward to.

GM, would it be ok adding to the list of buildings (or including it under another more appropriate building), a art gallery? Seems culturally relevant. Technically it might come under Exotic Artisan I guess, or Museum but it would be nice to have an art gallery somewhere, especially with the background skills options we have.

Would we adapt existing buildings in relation to the new technologies becoming more available, or would we need to build new specific buildings to take advantage of this?

Ishana swiftly moves into the middle of the argument with a calm and open expression.

"The both of you bring up good points, and I can reassure you that my friends and I are not unaware of the temporary bind we might be in. Jimoth, right now, my companions and I are planning an attack that should hopefully dislodge the strength of an enchanter in these lands. With the enchanter dealt with, not only will you be able to farm safely without being mind controlled to be by her side, but my companions and I will be in a ready position to assist in repelling any threats such as from bandits and ogres."

Ishana pauses for a moment, still attempting to be as calm as she could. "I personally, value your experience on this matter Jimoth, and you are right in that time is limited. So, with your experience in matters such as crops and this terrain, how much time do we have before farming is critical to beat the season change? Do you have a minimum or maximum estimate? Lets try to set up a reasonable deadline so my friends and I can eliminate the threats to you farming safely as quickly as we can."

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17

I'm not really making a request, but I am trying to defuse his anger and work towards a compromise. I guess its Diplomacy to change attitude? Worth noting that Ishana attempted to change Jimoth's attitude...yesterday? Maybe day before? I don't know how long it lasted, although the standard default is usually a few hours. Just unsure if he is more favorable to me than anyone else.

TY GM. Realized I also forgot something else of note.

Ishana reflects on what she knows on her own experiences in Kyonin, as well as her own magical experience and abilities. She wasn't a wizard herself, but she drew similarities from them and knew a little bit about the art - her tutors had always insisted. She tries to draw on her old studies now, trying to see if she could pinpoint any weaknesses they could exploit with Lyrudrada.

"If it helps tactic wise Aisha, Lyrudrada is a 3rd tier wizard. It means that she probably has around one to three spells of the third circle, and maybe three to four spells of the second circle. She would have a higher number of first circle spells, maybe four or five, but I view the latter spells to be less destructive."

"Lyrudrada is also an enchanter rather than an Evoker, which means that she primarily uses enchantment magic. We know that she also uses Guardian Wasps, as well as Fireball which means that she probably has only one, maybe two of those fire spells prepared per day, since most specialists prepare a specialist spell at each circle. a plausible tactic would be healing immediately after one of her fire attacks and tying to outlast the damage, or trying again before she can recharge her magic. We could also attack while she is resting, preventing her getting the time to replenish her magic, like the Ogre tried against myself"

Ishana pauses for a moment, before looking at Melira. "Did you want to look at my spellbook if we are resting for a little while? We could exchange spells. If there was something you wanted to learn, I could pick up that Invisibility spell from you and we could try and hide more people - just an idea."

Ishana still looks uncertain. ”Maybe you are right, but I still consider it unheroic to try and kill people who are not fighting back. Maybe the stories about them were wrong, or maybe Aria has a tight hold on them”

Ishana has no ranks in Knowledge Planes so any complexities about alignment are beyond her.

Ishana brightens a little though at Melira’s suggestion. ”That could work, since it means we could get close to her without getting blasted. Same goes for Thorn as well if required. If Lyon can stop her turning invisible we might be able to disrupt her spellcasting” Ishana responds before thinking for a moment.

”Some of them look to be half animal. Does that mean that they might have other senses that they could use to detect us.

"I think they have defense against my Burst of Radiance spell" Ishana remarks in a disappointed tone. "It should have harmed evil creatures, but they were mostly unaffected when I attempted it earlier. Varn's attempts to attack despite calling a truce doesn't strike me as particularly honorable or heroic, so maybe Aria's spells protect them somehow?" she comments, a little disheartened.

"We should be better prepared against Salazar's fire attack though. It was the most threatening tactic that they had, and Salazar has shown the ability to vanish and avoid attacks. I think that unless we can protect ourselves against that attack we would need to eliminate her quickly least she rain fire on us again."

I tend to think this is close to unwinnable without losing party members with the tools we currently have at present. With Wound Thresholds, Fireball goes from being a fairly powerful AOE damage spell, to basically applying the benefits of Crushing Despair on all targets in addition to its damage. Unless we can stop the Invisibility + Fireball combination we risk a TPK. I know OOC roughly how many fireballs she might have prepped, but we wouldn't know that IC unfortunately.

They could be CN/LN/TN and still avoid being harmed by Burst of Radiance.

If you dont have the ranks in Spellcraft to identify enemy spellcasting, why do you assume enemy spellcasters do? ;)

Fair. Ishana did tell her what the spell she cast was though. In addition Lyrudrada could make a knowledge check to identify said spell like Ishana did.

The OOC answer is probably that Lyrudrada doesn't give enough of a damn to try but it does make it almost impossible really to reason with them.

Agreeing with Lyon, that I think diplomacy as an option is off the table since Varn, Thorn, and Salazar are going to repeatably attack even after we have ceased hostilities and are trying to negotiate with them.

I agree, it could just be a high DC. I'd be tempted for some of us to roll SM, but I suspect that might cost us another round of actions which is kinda too long at this point.

OOC I'm a little surprised that Salazar is skilled enough in Knowledge Planes to (mis)identify us as demons, and still think we are still likely demons after we spend a round trying to talk them round, while casting good aligned spells like Burst of Radiance. I certainly don't expect them to immediately take us at our word, but Varn is still going for an immediate kill (and his companions seem to be doing the same). The fact that it hasn't caused any change in tactics is a little discouraging.

Ishana tends to agree with Lu, but is disappointed in Salazar. She wasn't an expert at all in demons, but she did think it bizarre that the mage thought it likely they were all demons after everything that had happened.

"We should retreat, Aria has them, and they are all lost to reason or words" she cries out, unable to assist much in aiding a retreat after the three ex heroes appeared to be immune to her spells.

It may take more than one round of doing this to end hostilities, but I will make clear (if there is a success or if you are facing a foe that can be talked down) that headway is being made.

EDIT

Nvm I get it, following that quote, we are unable to talk them down as its still unclear.

Hmm that complicates things a little bit now.

As per your earlier discussion post GM, is headway actually being made re diplomacy or is it pointless?

”My name is Ishana, I am an elf from Kyonin safely escorting a caravan of settlers through these lands. Our journey was delayed when we came across the empty town that you built. I read your elegantly written manuscript and discovered a ruined temple briefly mentioned. That has led us here. We are not demons, and Salazar, your arcane knowledge should be more than enough to learn the likelyhood of demons casting good aligned spells. You have proven that you are not evil so I will not attack you further. Allow my friends and I the chance to prove to you that we are also not demons” Ishana yells out confidently and firmly, hoping an explanation would help. She still hopes her earlier deliberate choice of Burst of Radiance would raise a red flag with Salazar but it looked like the spellcaster was oblivious.

Its worth remembering GM, that Calistria was going to be more closely tied to her ascension until there was a sudden change of plan as per your surprise. Therefore a lot of her character, and backstory, was written with the earlier plans in mind.

As per current written material, Calistria happens to be one of the more dominant Elven deities within the Pantheon. She was also brought up by priests / priestesses. She has effectively, grown up with worshipers around her. Its indirectly shaped part of her life, and how she perceives things. Its significant enough for Ishana to pay lip service to that deity, but Ishana on her own, isn't hugely religious to the degree that, say, a cleric, inquisitor, might be. She might privately ask for guidance, or support in a particularly trying situation, and she still follows some of the core tenets of the goddesses philosophy, in moderation.

I still think that it has potential to affect her behavior, but at the same time, do not consider her a particularly strong religious figure. Lu's comments for instance, still hurt, and Ishana still wants to 'get even' in a mild way for his earlier remarks. She's unlikely to forget them in a hurry. This doesn't mean taking it to extremes a particularly stronger worshiper might do, but something Ishana would consider appropriate.

Knowledge Arcana: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32

"Fellow Worshiper of the Savored Sting, Lyrudrada, understand that we are not demons. Your mind is being tricked by an entity that goes by Aria." Ishana shouts. She doubts her words will have much of an impact but she feels like she has to try.

Ishana casts her spell, quickly so as to prevent it being disrupted, but speaks all the same. "Feel the magic within my spell. Use your own arcane knowledge to identify it. This spell you feel is Burst of Radiance, a spell not commonly cast by demons, and a spell that only damages evil aligned creatures! Stop and end hostilities" she asks, before repeating the message in Elven, not a language traditionally spoken by demons.

Casting Burst of Radiance, trying to hit as many enemies as I can. Using arcane point to raise the DC by 2. DC 19

In regards to holy symbol, no, she doesn't carry a holy symbol. She isn't super religious, but probably pays lip service. Sorta I guess how like some Catholics don't go to Church on Sundays (or only go on special occasions).

As to the second question, yes, I was trying to see that impact, Sorta like "Wow these demons just cast Burst of Radiance on us, and we took damage from that spell what is going on" sort of thing but you might be right, could be a bit too much of a complex thing for them to unravel. It was just an idea I had.

Hey GM, I have a post I want to make, but wanted to make sure I understood the mechanics of the situation first.

First question, would the spell be the spell Calistria's Guardian Wasps be recognizable to Ishana? The spell is Calistrian in origin, but I don't know if its enough to confirm whether Lyrudrada is a fellow worshipper.

Secondly, I'm very tempted to drop a Burst of Radiance. The spell has mechanical effects in that for practical purposes it should (hopefully) blind them, but it also has other purposes. The spell has the good descriptor and only harms evil creatures. Is it feasible to assume that the spell might allow them a save or some interaction if they have had an alignment shift?

I'm making a few judgments here so I'm checking before I race off and make a post that assumes too much.

Burst of Radiance has a range of 400 feet so I can realistically be anywhere if Grease isn't required. I'm probably 35+30+30=95 feet though which means I'm close enough to cast Grease after 2 move actions.

"I'm actually also capable of casting Grease, so Melira and I could attempt to disarm them of any weapons if things turned aggressive" Ishana responded helpfully, weighing things up.

"I would have to be relatively close range to use the spell though, close enough to move into combat and still reach anyone with the spell if things escalated quickly. Unfortunately, like Mellira, I'm not naturally nimble and wouldn't be much good on a stealth mission. I could accompany Aisha if she isn't going to openly hide her approach "

I think it still ends the same way, so it’s a moot point. The members of the caravan are not fighters, and clearly failed perception checks which means fortified position or no, they still die. Firearms were a big problem.

In hindsight, it’s better we took them down before they camped the fort, because then it’s 2 ogrekin, a hobgoblin gunslinger, and an ogre that basically almost killed Kes while blinded, with limited strategy available. The group is welcome to whatever IC opinions they like of course, but it is highly likely someone dies no matter what irrespective as to how fortified the fort was.

Spell Lists + Points updated.

Slightly earlier

Ishana takes the book that Aisha gives her reverently. She always liked books, and she takes a few minutes carefully flicking through the pages, her fingers lightly tracing the drawings and pressed flowers between each page.

"Its a beautiful text, how on earth did you come across it?" she asks, eyes brightly gleaming with happiness. Unlike to others, Ishana could read every word on the page, fluent in both languages that the books were inscribed with. "Its written in Sylvan and Aklo - I'm fluent in both. I could teach you, if you wanted sometime Aisha" she remarks happily, hoping to share the information the book contained with someone else.

After Marcus' comments.

Ishana makes an ambivalent gesture.

"I think Marcus is making a point that unrealistic expectations were placed on him. Lu made a big point about how I needed protecting and couldn't handle anything on my own - and yet Lu felt confident leaving Marcus on his own to protect the entire caravan against the full strength ogre we knew was hellbent on revenge, as well as any allies said ogre brought with her. It is unfair therefore, to point blame solely at Marcus for what happened, when no-one else volunteered to stay behind and help" Ishana responds in a measured tone.

"I think there is little to gain in pointing fingers in blame. Lets accept that all of us share some small sense of responsibility for what happened, so that we can do better if there is a next time yes?" Ishana finishes, a little tense not exactly wanting things to dissolve into hostilities, even though she agreed largely in principal with everything Marcus had said.

Having little interest in prolonging the conversation, Ishana makes a beeline for the dwarf wizard, and gives a short bow, before shaking the dwarfs hand. "Its a pleasure to meet you Melira, my name is Ishana, and I also have a little bit of magic myself. I don't know much about the divination school though, perhaps, if we have time, you could teach me?" Ishana asks earnestly, always happy to add to her knowledge on the arcane arts.

I'll get my spell list updated later today when I have more time, but getting a post up now.

"The halfling had no new information to give us, but as it turns out, it was good that we stayed. The caravan was attacked by two ogrekin, a hobgoblin, and an ogre while you were absent. One man died in the attack. So yes, we have indeed arrived late after using all of our abilities to save the caravan." the arcanist says simply.
