![]() I'm prepping this for Sunday, and I'm very confused by the map on page 11. It seems like where the map tags don't match the encounter descriptions. (In particular, B5 is indicated to be a dead end in the description, but is clearly on the correct path in the map.) Do people have a working map and my copy is just bad, or is something else going on here? ![]()

![]() I feel like the part that no one is talking about is that this is written by Alex Greenshields. You know, right? Red Harvest? A Case of Missing Persons? THE DALSINE AFFAIR? Nothing good is coming of this scenario. That being said, I am so excited to run/play this. I _love_ Alex's scenarios. ![]()

![]() Hi Dan! I'm in charge of the PACS Open this year! Advancement is done by teams. When you fill out your scoresheet for Round 1, you're going to talk about which slots on Saturday you are available for Round 2. Once I know which teams have advanced to Round 2, I'll spend some time on Friday night making a schedule that can suit everyone, and then text teams that advanced letting them know when they should show up. ![]()

This might be hard to combine with the above idea, but a generic advancement sheet in the guide would be nice. Hmmmm... this could be an interesting cheat sheet to make... ![]()

![]() I updated my character on my character profile page. Seoni is kinda weird. I've been playing her solo so far, so she's built to be able to do anything. She's using the Pathfinder Tales deck (with Ultimate Magic) and is trying to do recharge loops with the allies from PT. In fact, the vast majority of the deck recharges, and Rodrick can get back what gets discarded. The most important card I am looking for is an Ally 4. Other that that, tier 5 cards are cool. I will be doing tier advancement. And yeah, it's good to play with you Hawkmoon. It turns out that I'm a hard person to catch during conventions. I considered playing Yoon, but Yoon is one of the characters that I'm taking through SoFF right now*, and I find that it's kind of hard to speed level Yoon, since I have to spend a little more time making sure that I'm playing her correctly. *I can't wait until I get her to Tier 5 though, since then Gom-Gom will be playing a Herald of Gom-Gom with Gom-Gom through a story written by Gom-Gom. ![]()

He wasn't the author's VC PC, he was another person's VC PC. *puts on PC historian cap* Back in the early days of PFS, there was a running joke on the messageboards that Kyle Baird was the deadliest GM in all of PFS. Joe Caubo constantly kept daring Kyle Baird to kill one of his characters, and it became a running joke of its own. Eventually, at one big convention, Kyle ran Race for the Runecarved Key 1 for Joe playing VC Nikolai Adonai at Seeker tier, and killed him in one of the biggest combats in that scenario. Kyle then added that character in Sealed Gate, presumably so that we could all rejoice in killing him too. ![]()

![]() In starfinder, most summoned creatures are actually just the elemental stat block with a particular graft applied. So when it refers to a Large Summoned Demon, that means that it's a Large Elemental with the Demon graft applied. The Demon graft is available on pages 63+64 of the adventure. Sounds like the intended creature is large elemental + demon graft. ![]()

![]() I said this on Facebook but I'll say it here too: The Frozen Oath is the closest I have ever seen to a PFS scenario where I don't feel like I need to make a prep document. That's saying something. I plan on testing GMing this without doing my prep document to see how it feels. ![]()

![]() Then the PCs need to figure out some other way of getting up to the lich. Time to get creative! And they better hope they don't miss, because if they even leave it at 1 hit point, then it's collapsing the cavern. Mission Over. Time to pass out chronicle sheets. ![]()

![]() This scenario will not be made publicly available for a year. During that time, access will only be provided to GMs who are running the scenarios at approved conventions. After next year's GenCon this will become available for public purchase. If you're running it at a convention and you don't have access to it yet, talk with your convention organizer. ![]()

![]() Thanks everyone! Bonekeep has be in the works in some form for about 2 and a half years, so I'm excited it finally got to see the light of day. I would also like to give a huge shoutout to Rigby. They were an amazing second and really helped me manage the ACG area. If people played in the Open and have feedback for me, both good and bad, please feel free to send it to me. (Just don't post spoilers publicly!) ![]()

I... may have forgotten about that when writing Anna. The reason why the contingency is there is because at the time that the book is happening, Anna is supposed to be in a prison in Russia IIRC, and I figured that it was plausible that she just disappeared from the prison to be with Rasputin for a while and no one noticed. She is supposed to show back up in a few years to the rest of the world, so the contingency is supposed to be a failsafe against the players killing her and breaking the time stream. However you want to deal with that issue when you run it is up to you! Glad to see people using my Rasputin! ![]()

Ah, so I screwed up saving the .docx - that is now fixed and new versions are uploaded (which includes fixing the Nova Witch's speed) (Pulling back the curtain a little bit - often times I copy and paste prep from other scenarios and just change small details to make things easier for me. In this case, I copied and modified my 1-03 prep for this scenario, and for some reason Word quit before it saved the final changes to get rid of the 1-03 encounter and update the starship cheat sheet for Skitter Shot.) ![]()

Dammit. I like how I copy and pasted my starship action sheet from a previous scenario, and I managed to change all the references in that from speed 6 to speed 8, but I typed the nova witch stat block by hand and got the speed wrong there. I'll fix it tonight.
