So for the campaign I am planning on the party encountering and old player character of mine a lawful evil teifling magus who was made a lord by devils and mortals alike (a scary character)

although I have lost his gear page and cannot remember what weapons he wielded so let’s come up with some ideas shall we.

a little bit about the character he had one major flaw that he was a collector he hunted round the world for the most unique artifacts and items to display in his home.

so knowing this what do you think a lord who is a major collector would have on his person the weapons that he would use the pride of his collection?

a note he fights with two weapons (one in each hand) so they could be paired items or two unique ones let your imagination go wild.

Typically he joins in the fight with melee So do consider that with items

I will be running a ones shot in the new year for 7 people (potentially more) but I need some help for it, as I kinda want them to be mid level 8-10 maybe.

But the theme is a nightmare circus, the players visit and is all fun and games until all hell (literally) breaks lose, madness, strange things and all manner of scary stuff.

But I am in need of something:

The ringmaster I have no clue what to stat him as, I was more leaning for him to be a powerful magic user but what do you people think?


fair enough a good idea but why is that?


If I wanted to do a more combat focused monk that then use Ki occasionally to apply effects like ki strike and elemental fist, I should put skills more in STR and DEX?


So i am having a look at monk as i have never done one before i understand that ki works of wisdom but what do the normal monk attacks go of should it be dex or str? or does it not matter?

any help is greatly appreciated
