![]() Hadin looks at the strange, gloomy dwarf Why so serious? Listening to you, I can't help but wondering... Do you really feel all is doomed? Is that your personal opinion or is it a tenet of your faith? I'm afraid I must confess I have never seen the holy symbol of your deity before... Diplomacy?: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26 ![]()

I don't want to sound rude, I'm just from a small human village, and worked into a farm from an early age. May I ask you what brings you on these lands? Do you have a specific purpose in your mind? An holy mission from your god, maybe? ![]()

![]() Diplomacy: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19 Hadin tries to make some small talk with the tall, powerfully build woman Amiri, of course I suppose you feel more at ease in the wilderness than inside a castle. May I ask you if you have already a plan, a part of the lands you wish to explore first? ![]()

![]() Know Local: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17 Hadin know the Aldori's history of prowess with their specific swords, and listen to Ludivine speech. I haven't seen a duel with an Aldori swordsman, but everyone have heard of their skill with the sword. I don't know much about their political ambitions, however, but you seem to be well informed, Milady. ![]()

![]() Hadin was waiting patiently, sipping some water. He knew no one around, but then someone starts making introduction, a man called Actaeon. He waits a reasonable time, until there is some silence, not willing to cut into someone's else speech. I am Hadin Cassoren. On his simple brown and dark clothes, clothes made for durability than for showing off, was the symbol of Erastil, which was displayed honestly. By his humbles origins, he has no prior knowledge of noble houses, and so the name of the House of Garess rings no bell to him. ![]()

![]() So repent, show remorse for your deeds, and cooperate. Tell us all you can about your band of thieves, so you can't go back. Give us reason to believe there might still be hope for you to turn your life around. Yes, we killed the other bandits. But we didn't succumb to bloodlust. We can show mercy, if we feel it is deserved. Do a favor to yourself. Don't you want to live? Yes it might be a little more harder to live an honest, hard working live than to be a bandit simply using force to get what he needs, and enjoy his ill-gotten goods while other have to work day in, day out. But considering the other option is a unnamed grave in the wilderness... Diplomacy: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16 ![]()

![]() (sorry for the delay, I thought I posted earlier) I'll be on vacation this Friday evening. It will be a very busy vacation, as I have a job interview next week, and I'm moving home the week after. I might be a few days without internet, but I guess I'll be back at the end of the month. Will try to post when I can. ![]()

![]() In fact, I would feel it less dangerous for our hosts, and more respectful for the deceased bandits, to bury them. Because of course it can only infuriate the remaining outlaws, and it can even attract wild beasts. And finally it's not healthy pr pretty. I'm sure the lady of the house can do without seeing rotting corpses dangling from the walls ![]()

![]() Hadin is more than willing to help with any menial work of carpentry on their host's house, or even to help in whatever small garden they might have. Such humble work ease his mind a little for the bandits demise, but it would be lying saying he's comfortable with the idea at the end of the day Taking 10 in either Craft Carpenter or Profession Farmer, both for 15 ![]()

![]() As I said earlier, even if I worship Erastil, I'm not that good with a bow. But I guess one can be handy, if only for hunting. A horse for each of us can be useful too, if we have to track the bandits to their camp or make other long distance trips. ![]()

![]() Hadin is intrigued. Stags are holy animals for Erastil's servants. Could this "Stag Lord" be a worshiper that fell from grace? He discreeetly checks the remaining bandits for evil auras, and listen to their words, gauging their sincerity Detect Evil

![]() I do have some rope, so we can at least tie the two remaining outlaws. What happen next to them is our responsability. I'd like to show mercy, and show them the path to redemption, if they show honest repentance, for their crimes. But I don't want to be blinded by my own goodwill. They must show their willingness to give back to the community, by honest, hard work, what they stole earlier, even if they are pawns and not leaders. And our first goal must be the safety of our hosts. ![]()

![]() I may worship Erastil, but I haven't been blessed with talent for archery. says Hadin with a small smile Nevertheless, I will fight them. i'm not one for ambushes and treachery, but I agree the lives of our hosts are worth any small trick to give us advantage. I'd like that one of us should stay close to the lovely couple, so the bandits won't be able to take an hostage. ![]()

He seems at ease in the wilderness, occasionaly hunting small game for the companions meals, and trying to find safe spots to protect them from the worse of the weather Taking 10 for 19 survival In his spare time, the young farmer is rarely seen without a piece of wood in his hands, or looking for a piece of wood. ![]() Hadin answers first to the young lady, then to the young man Thank you for your blessings. I do hope to be able to build a small farm for myself, later on, and to start a family. For my part, I prefer to be helpful to my neighbours than famous, but to each his own. turning to Actaeon I'd like, as much as possible, to not soil the land with too much blood. Mercy can be asked for, but it must be given wisely, and be followed by acts of redemption, for even a gnarled seed can give birth to a magnificent tree, if taken care of. ![]() The young man was walking slowly.
Entering the inn, he shows the charter, and a servant brings him to your table. He puts his backpack on the ground with some relief. Hello, My name is Hadin. I serves Erastil. As if it wasn't obvious enough by the wooden holy symbol dangling by his neck. My elders have seen fit to send me to help fighting the bandits, and secure the lands for future farmers. It seems you have been tasked the same?
