You could do it with nested IF statements or create a sheet with the costs and use VLOOKUP.

Or the less well-known CHOOSE function.

That only works on the BASE SCORE. The "x" means scores that low are not available (and it should throw an error if selected.) You can make the base score a dropdown with data validation and only allow 7-18 as well.

I tried a Dancing Lights (vaguely humanoid form) to lure unknown critters from their likely hiding place.

Didn't work; they were there, but they were undead, and not fooled (life sense).

Could use Ghost Sound like a loud-speaker.

Hoping for a bit of redundancy here,

Elf Alchemist (Clone Master/Mindchemist)/Witch (Beast-Bonded)

Make clones of both yourself and your familiar.
Twin Soul kicks in before the clone transfer (and can indeed still decide to still use the clone transfer while twin-souled.)

Or, if you both eat it, you both transfer to your clones.
This can be done at level 10.
Put two scrolls of restoration on your clone for quick recovery.

Aside from the death-cheatery, starting first level you can Cognatogen for +4 int, and start hexing things with great impunity.

Elves can take an alternate racial trait that adds 2 to the DC of sleep spells and effects.

Assuming you start with a 18 or 20 int, your Slumber DC at first level will be either 19 or 20.

That's a starting point, at least.

eh, with such multiclassing, he isn't going to be as effective in the game. Instead of trying some ridiculous house-ruling to punish him for his silliness, just explain it to him. If he still wants to roll with it, let him do it. He will figure it all out by level 5.

I'm bored: give me ideas for a new base class I can design!!!

Damage over Time based arcane caster.

A hybrid class that copies or steals fighting styles.

Anything stating Reflex saves don't work as written is unnecessary and heavy handed.

Moreover, it's wholly unrelated to this topic. There are not "official rules" when Reflex saves can't be made because they can ALWAYS BE MADE. That's your official rule. If I am standing in the middle of a 100' wide plain where a 100' slab is to be dropped on my head and it allows a Reflex save, I can make the save. That is the rule. You just don't like the rule because you don't think it is "realistic." Well too bad, that is neither relevant to this thread or to how the game is written.

You're so warm and fuzzy. Can I cuddle you?

Blablah's Background:

Blablah was mostly ignored by his goblin brethren early in life; a fact that became all the more poignant on his naming day. Soon after, in an attempt to regain the respect of his kin, Blablah would pick fights on unsuspecting goblins. Unfortunately, Blablah was also weak and pathetic in addition to being boring and uninteresting; his fights often left him bloody and/or unconscious.

Eventually, Blablah learned his lesson: ambush them and then run away! Since making this revelation, Blablah has spent countless hours* honing his skills in avoiding being pounded into the ground. He has a dream of one day proving himself to the rest of goblinhood, or at the very least teaching them all a lesson.

I guess I should point out that the new favorites feature will probably over time reduce the number of "+1" posts.

Oh great and powerful PMG, how possible is it to have the list of favoriting peeps show in a floating popup so it doesn't navigate away from the post? Maybe with a link at the top of the popup to view the post in the manner it does now?

I hate acronyms in general. Extended usage of them prohibits communication, and people feel dumb asking what they mean.
So I like this thread already.

The most common, everyone probably knows these. Using these is usually not prohibitive.:
BAB: Base Attack Bonus
GM: Game Master
PC: Player Character
NPC: Non-Player Character (usually run by the GM)
AC: Armor Class
DR: Damage Reduction
APG: Advanced Player's Guide
CRB: Core Rulebook

Less common, usually analytical:
MAD: Mulitple Ability Dependant (Characters that rely an many ability scores)
SAD: Single Ability Dependant (Characters that rely on only one ability score)
DPR: Damage Per Round (a calculation meant to define combat effectiveness, including miss chances and crit chances)
CDG: Coup de Grace (rarely used in the forums)
PB: Point Blank (for Ranged Weapons within 30 feet)
PBS: Point Blank Shot (a Feat for use at Point Blank range)
TWF: Two-Weapon Fighting (a fighting style)
THF: Two-Handed Fighting (another fighting style)
IUS: Improved Unarmed Strike (a Feat for use with unarmed strikes)
WF/WS: Weapon Focus / Weapon Specialization (Feats)
PrC: Prestige Class (extended classes that have prerequisites for entry)
AA: Arcane Archer (a PrC. usually. You might find different usages in Off-Topic threads)
EK: Eldritch Knight (another PrC)

FAWTL: Forums Are Way Too Long
PBP: Play By Post (A game run on the forums)
YMMV: Your Mileage May Vary

I'll stop there for now.
