Gorvy is the kind of name-takin', no-s~&$-takin' rabble rouser and drinker who has been kicked out of every bar and military unit he could find.

He grew up in Alkenstar and his quick hands, and his easy charm, got him into the militia. Gorvy enjoyed guns, fiddling with blackpowder, constantly repairing and tinkering with the weapons, and enjoyed the barrack-room banter. He just couldn't stand his commanding officer... Since then Gorvy has seen the world, or at least the bits of it that are made up of port towns and drinking dens.

Finally, he started to realise that he was getting sick of taking fast ships out of trouble and headed inland. He ended up getting in the same kind of trouble as always but without a way out. Damn fool nearly got himself strung up.

But now he has a way out: go for a run through the woods with this motley band. Maybe this time his luck will change and he'll find some decent pals, or some place he likes, or a fine woman to keep his head straight.
Or maybe he'll start to realise that he's his own worst enemy.
Or maybe he'll end up dead.
Don't matter much either way, won't nobody mind much and those that might are oceans away.
