Feiya steps forwards and attacks with what she hopes won't be a useless spell. Judging by the ferocity with which the monstrous fungus whipped its tendrils about it could probably afford to lose some of its strength.

The young witch hurls a Ray of Enfeeblement toward the cerebral fungus.

Great, a fungus, assuming Hakon will soon be able to tell me that this is yet another foe immune to all of my hexes and spells?

Feiya focuses inwards and tries to steady her mind, managing to concentrate enough to cloak herself in a shield of force despite the monster's incessant rambling.

Feiya is taken by surprise by the small beast, but luckily manages to avoid its sharp teeth. Shaken by the attack, she reflexively reaches out her hand to the creature, channelling negative energy through her touch.
