I absolutely LOVE the shorter APs. If the plan is to release 2 of these per year (is that the case?), I'm all for it. Not only does it mix things up and provide more variation, I imagine it will make the APs more accessible for some. By more accessible I mean it takes less of a commitment to run. Anyway, bravo!

Thanks for making this thread great. The Kappa and - hehe - Boxtroll ideas are fantastic. I do like the multi-layered approach cause some new Dwarven Forge stuff should be here by then so we can use a dungeon setting where the players have to get by obstacles to reach the pets. Could be run by witches, as mentioned earlier, who were about to use them for a complex spell. The goblins were the henchmen and betray them cause the witches stiff them in the end. Or something.

Whoah, the poor Otyugh seems like it could use friends :)

I LOVE IT.

Great ideas, everyone! I've gone from no clear idea to having too many...which is a great problem to have.

Had not considered if the party would be child PCs or adult. Will have to think on it.

I like ALL the ideas but was thinking along the lines of the Domovoi (never heard of them until now) but also like the mage and witches idea. Goblins work but the one game we played already had goblins. They enjoyed that part, though.

Thanks everyone!

Hi. I'm looking to run a home brew game pathfinder game with a small group of kids; average age of about 11/12. I want them to meet by discovering missing posters of family pets. The pets may or may not be their actual real-life pets. No, Fluffy!

I'm not well versed in the game so am struggling with ways to make this happen. I'm looking for creatures or characters that would be interested in pet napping...that would make sense. Does anyone know a good "monster" that would want to collect pets?

The Wolf-in-Sheep’s-Clothing (link below) came to mind but don't necessarily want to kill the pets. I want them to be rescued.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

What levels are these dungeons for?

I found this thread because I can't locate a place to put the holiday discount code. Are you still working on the issue or am I just missing something?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

The last six poster map folios (starting with Mummy´s Mask Map Folio), havn´t been as good as the ones before (with the exception of the Skull & Shackles Map Folio) imo.

The most criticized thing are the "pictorial" maps, complete with sketches of some of the denizens and dangers of that haunted land as they spoil too much for the players.

I like them (as a GM) to look at, but i wish for more "in-world" style maps with only widely known or obvious icons on it (like the Ustalav map from the Carrion Crown Map Folio).

I also agree with this. While I do like the "pictorial" art maps I have been left wanting more detail. I believe we get fewer maps than we used to.

This is for
2–4 Players
30–60 Min Playing Time

This is one of the GREAT products. I was really excited to see it for sale again but the price means I won't buy it.

Glad to see this back in stock...but wasn't the hard cover $75-$80? If so, that's a big increase.

The map is so well done! Inspiring, really.

Yes and yes! Ruins of Azlant is going to be great. I was not sure about the Crimson Throne but think I may be getting that one too. Good stuff, Paizo!

I'm really looking forward to this. I LOVE the concept of smaller adventures that can be played independently or together. Please keep doing these :)

Wish I could be there. Have fun, all!

When does the annual summer sale start?

Thanks for the update, smillie382003. I still have not received my beginner's box. It's June 19th. I probably won't be doing this Humble/Pathfinder thing again.

This is so good to hear, Nevynxxx! My son just turned 9 and I'm working up to what I hope is the same experience.

And thank you, John, for the link. I'm slowly collecting fun beginner options and this is GREAT.

Anyway - I think the sorting & filtering suggestions are awesome, but I was specifically talking about the check out process.

The cart works great. Its when you go to check out that the problems start.

Its the 4 boxes. "Steps in red must be completed before your order can be processed. Steps in green have already been completed or contain default information, but you may update that information at any time. Steps in gray have not yet been visited."

Step 1 is black, but I've already went past that, shouldn't it be green? Step 2 is in grey - internet-wide, grayed out buttons say "disabled". 3 is in red, but don't I also have to confirm the order (X) and select shipping (2) before the order can be processed; shouldn't they be red too? Or did I miss something and I can't click on those yet?

The X for confirm the order is confusing - "X" usually means delete or cancel. When I do enter my payment information, step 3 is in black, but your instructions say green is complete - did I complete it or was there an issue?

Thanks for listening...

I agree with everything RobboNJ69 said, especially about the many checkout steps and the dreaded X. Oh, that X. My little brain keeps reading it as a bad thing, or at least a "Close" or "Exit" thing. There just seems to be a lot of clunky steps that don't seem necessary in the process.

In my experiences the website is slow. I say this after having been a Paizo customer for years. I've used a number of computers and a few different browsers...although I think it's worse on FireFox. There may be more "Working" and "Spinning" than any other website I visit, including the more graphic heavy sites.

Since I'm complaining...the download page is cumbersome. The personalization process is a lot of clicking and waiting. Rather than being excited about my downloads I find myself putting off going there because it takes so much management.

Okay, enough from me.

I also like the book. Unfortunately, I've moved away from the Paizo minis because it's too much of a crap shoot and too expensive. I've really enjoyed exploring other outlets to fill my dungeon dressing needs. Today, for example, I just finished painting some out houses from ArmorCast. I also got some nice wizard alchemy pieces from another place. And I supported the Stone Skull Studeo kickstarter and will be getting a TON of dungeon dressing items. There is a really nice book like the one seen here. I have not completely given up on these releases but they're pretty far down the list now.

I still LOVE you Paizo, no matter how that sounded :)

I really like this. I like the format and the levels and the sandbox nature of it. I really like that it's for beginning GMs. As the rule set and lexicon that is Paizo grows this type of thing will be important for newcomers. Its just fun, too!

It's coming out on April 28th? Oh, I hope so!

I feel there is a lack of information on this. Does anyone know what this will cost?

The core of the game (first adventure and two characters) is free to play. Then there is unlockable content (other heroes, aditional cards, etc) you can get either with cash, or an in-game currency.

Thank you, Efreeti.

DragoDorn mentioned "this version of the game." Is there another non-card version?

Soooo...what products will be revealed at PaizoCon?

It will be a Red Mantis AP. With all the intrigue stuff being released I just know it will be. It will be.

Hi...Because of the current Syrinscape sale I've become interested in it for the first time. Please be patient with my basic questions.

1) The player is absolutely free here, https://syrinscape.com/download/, correct?

2) When you purchase and download the individual SoundSets can you do so on multiple computers?

3) If you purchase a SoundSet can you download it on both Windows and MacOSX? In other words, how carefully do I have to pick my device and operating system?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

I like low level modules, too. Ire of the Storm looks great! I have to say that I miss - just a little - the smaller modules. Of course the 64 pagers are terrific because of the depth of content. The smaller jobers require less of a commitment and allow for something closer to sandbox play. Anyway, not complaining. Just typing out loud.

This looks great.

What is the twitch schedule?

Almost $13 for shipping. I won't be doing this again.

This WILL lead to a Red Mantis AP. Do you hear me? It will, I have no doubts.

Yet another Paizo purchase I must make :)

Oh, man! I saw the Quivering Cube was available (4:51pm East) but went to check on one more item and in that time it was removed from my cart and is now sold out again. I give up :(

Rats, I missed it. No Quivering Cube for me.

I'd buy it!

I’m also disappointed with this model. Sure, it’s exciting that so many people want these but the frenzy to get the hot singles quickly, before they are imprisoned in the "Unavailable" tab, but this also seems to drive up the price. For example, the barrels, crates, and the Quivering Cube are hot items (sold out) and – is it just me - the price is high. I still have not purchased the Bubbling Cauldron from Dungeons Deep nor would I for $9.00. At other retailers that are often less expensive they’re following the same demand-based pattern. Prices for this release seem high everywhere...if you can get them at all.

It was not long ago that I started buying Pathfinder minis. I’m learning that when I feel this type of push-to-buy my response is not to spend but keep my money. I’m buying less of these with every release. My wish list items have grown to the point that I now ignore it.

Thanks, Adam. That's what I thought but I don't know how to do it. I'll do a search to find out. I'm familiar with a couple of the standard methods but either never heard it put that way or something. As you can guess, I don't play. I'm in the collecting-Pathfinder-stuff phase. Anyone ever mention there is a lot to read?!

Okay, sorry, but what is a 15-point buy?

Yes, ErisAcolyte-Chaos jester! That's the spirit and one I hope will catch on at Paizo :) The Red Mantis AP could be so good while introducing new ways to play and expanding on many of the unique things Pathfinder already does. Alas, no sign of it yet. We wait patiently...

I'm still trying to come up with other suggestions... I like that the Player Companion line is Golarion-specific, so I'd like to see stuff for specific organizations or nations.

-More stuff for Norgorber's faithful would be cool.
-A Cheliax-specific inquisitor archetype for Thrune agents would be interesting.
-I'd love to see more Aspis Consortium or Whispering Way content.
-This probably isn't the right book, but I would love to see the options for the "lesser" Hellknight orders developed.

That's all I've got so far...

A Drow Fleshwarper archetype for the Alchemist :)

...I've said it before and I'll say it again: Mediogalti Island & the Red Mantis need some TLC. Think about all the new social and stealth options. I'd buy it just for the cool mantis cover!

This will be a fun map set! But, I too would like to see more maps, specifically a detailed regional/nation map.

Wow, these 10 secrets peaks my interest more than anything else. Good stuff. Now come on...just 1 more ;)

I have a very fond wish to run a Red Mantis Initiate game, FWIW.

Liz, I hope your wish comes true. And then I hope you make an AP out of it :) I'm so intrigued by the Red Mantis Assassins and Mediogalti Island and Ilizmagorti.

Red Mantis! A very difficult decision as they are all amazing. Nonetheless, I vote for Red Mantis.

Now, when will we see a Red Mantis Adventure Path?

What are the dimensions of this book? Is it 6.7” x 4.2” like most in the past novels or 8.2” x 5.4” like the recent Lord of Runes? Personally I like the larger sizes for my books BUT now Lord of Runes does not match all the other Pathfinder books on my shelf. I know, 1st world problem. Liar’s Island is in my side cart regardless of the size. I really liked Pratt’s previous novel; my favorite Pathfinder author and that’s saying something.

That is a HUGE help. Thank you :)

Good luck with your campaign. Thanks for doing all the updates.

Thanks! I was thinking the same thing about customizable screens but wanted to know what the pros included :) What are you using for the physical screen? It looks like it folds.
