"There were some ups and downs, but nothing that this admirable group of Pathfinders could not achieve. Asides from some minor hiccups, everything ended smoothly."

Riddywipple popped out of Etu's backpack with a wand in hand. With a swish and a flick, the Faerie Dragon watched with delighted glee as a shower of golden sparkles appears over the Reaver's face and body.

Etu looks up at the creature. Surely unafraid, but also very uncomfortable being in the way of its warpath. "Surely this creature jests in such poor taste as that roar. We've heard more powerful from Effy!" Etu took a step to the side, seemingly slipping into the world between realms and reappearing not too far away.

Working her holy symbol and speaking the words of power, a wave of good luck sprang forth from Etu's hands, affecting her teammates positively and the Reaver negatively.

Free action continue Bardsong. Move action Dimensional Hop 35 feet (70 total with Riddywipple) per the Travel Domain. Standard to cast Prayer hitting everyone except Pai.

Active effects: +3 competence bonus to attack and damage, +3 morale bonus vs fear (+6 instead if within 30 feet of Etu). +1 luck bonus to attack, damage, skills, and saves, Reaver takes a -1 to these (not applicable to Pai), various Blessings of Fervor effects (untyped if selecting the +2s) for Etu, Riddywipple, Roland, Pai, and Thoriel.

Also @Pai. You want out of there? Etu can DimensionalHop and get you out of there, if that's what you want. She'll ask on her turn but figured it'd be faster to ask now then do.

No worries. Bardsong is a competence bonus and Fervor is an untyped bonus. They stack!

I'm pretty sure the +3 is the morale bonus from Etu's Sermonic Performance.

Those within 30 feet of Etu get a +6 instead of a +3 due to her Rallying armor, an fyi for those closeby who aren't happy with their current roll.

Etu begins her Sermonic Performance from behind the podium. "This is it, Pathfinders! Prepare to finish a beast that spread fear far and wide from this place!" Looking closely at the battlefield, she casts Blessings of Fervor on herself, Riddywipple, Pai, Thoriel, and Roland.

"I don't think we've the group for a stealthy escapade through this building, unfortunately. We'll just have to be more careful as we move along. We can't afford to get into a fight with one or more of us missing limbs. Especially with the Reaver. We truly are blessed that this is here."

"Excellent work, Thoriel. If I may take a moment to look it over? It's not my area of expertise, but Imight be able to gleansome information from it. " If Thoriel has no qualms with it, Etu will cast Detect Magic on the now Holier symbol.

"Remember! Attack as one! Cooperate, Pathfinders!" Etu shouted loudly, her voice easily heard over the sounds of battle. Her hands moved through the air as she chanted in the name of Desna, letting her majestic power flow free.

Good guys: Haste, Inspire Courage +3, Good end of Prayer (+6 to hit, +4 damage, +1 to saves [+2 to reflex], skills, and AC)

Riddywipple huffs a small cloud of gas from his mouth and steeled himself for battle. From his perch on Etu's shoulder, he reached into the Tengu's backpack and pulled out a slender silver wand seemingly the perfect size for him. Riddywipple have it a flick and a swish and the group found themselves moving just a little bit faster than they had prior.

Move acton to retrieve the Wand of Haste, standard action to cast it (faerie dragons cast as sorcerers) on Pai, Thoriel, Roland, Shirley and Effy. It'll last for 5 rounds. 43 charges remain.

"We should secure the ground level before we move upwards."

Towards the right is fine by me.

"Will you all stop crowding the young man? He's obviously been through quite the ordeal. It only takes the work of one. It's no good being this pushy." Etu chastised the crowd as she finally entered the room. "Roland seems to have the matter well in hand, though your willingness to help is certainly refreshing."

Etu will also follow behind at a safe distance, letting those who are more suited for the front lines do their thing.

"That was such a harrowing experience. Goodness. And I imagine it won't be too long until it finds a way back in. Shirley, would it be fine if I cast a spell of protection on Effy?" Etu asked.

Freedom of Movement on herself, Life Bubble on everyone who accepts, and Magic Circle vs Evil on Effy if allowed. I am also on phone currently so if someone can put me down I appreciate it.

"You know complaining doesn't change anything for us Pathfinders, dear!" Etu called to The Eldritch between corpse dodging.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 2 + 4 = 18

Etu ducks and bobs and weaves through the debris, renewed strength coursing through her as she can see the finish line.

Acro: 1d20 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 2 + 4 = 20

Etu tosses baubles like her life depends on it. It just might.

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12

"Legs, please don't fail me now," Etu whispered to herself as she tries to tuck and roll.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 2 + 4 = 14

Etu attempts to dodge out of the way of the net. "This will be better if we work together, orcs!"

Reflex save: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24 If this is a chase, then Etu gets a +4 due to having a 50 foot move speed.

"This is... grotesquely fortuitous. However, discretion is the better part of valor, and I'd rather not learn what a creature bonded to a healing font is capable of. To the Bastion we go."

"Riddywipple can scout from high above, if anyone would like." Etu suggested. The faerie dragon nodded and flexed his wings.

Survival: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21

"I'll certainly try my best, though religions other than my own aren't quite in my wheelhouse. We'll just see." Etu smiled. "I am excited. It sounds like this mission is going to do a lot of good."

"Can you tell us any more about this healing font, or any of the other relics? Or has that knowledge been lost to time? Do we know which rituals to perform at these sites, and how has the Red Reaver manage to form a connection with them?"

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30

Etu smiled to herself at that. "I would prefer a boat, personally, but I do not mind horses if it is required. As for getting back, I do have some skill at magic of that sort. Although, it may be more reliable to return the way we came."

"Ah, my apologies. Sometimes the ole' noggin isn't quite what it used to be," she responds with a small smile.

"Is there anyone at Roslar's Coffer whom we should report to upon arriving? Anyone able to help, or provide additional information?" Etu asked, putting her tea cup down on the table. Riddywipple scuttled down her arm to do the same before returning to the Tengu's shoulder.

The Tengu woman sat and listened, drinking tea out of a wooden tea cup. The faerie dragon, Riddywipple, on her shoulder did the same, mimicking Etu's every move. Her black feathers contrasted sharply with the soft glitter of her armor, and many the feathers on her crown have been decorated in some way with majestic Desnan iconography. Overall, her aura was a comforting one that was palpable to those nearby. "It is nice to see you again, dear, though I wish it wasn't under such dreadful circumstances," Etu addressed Ollysta with a small smile and a nod. Riddywipple continued to mimic her.

Turning to face the group, Etu pulled a bag of cookies from the pouch on her belt and offered them to anyone willing. "Before we get too far in, I am Etu Free-As-Wind, Knight Captain of the Steel Falcons. This is my second in command, Lieutenant Riddywipple." She gestured to the small dragon perched on her shoulder, which mimicked her by raising his own arm. "You all will be in my care during this mission, and if there's anything I can do to help, don't hesitate to ask."

GM_Ammordius, I spent 12,000 to increase Etu's Headband to +4. Etu is now up to date.

To everyone else, Etu gives out pluses like candy. Just by being within 30 feet of her you get a +6 morale bonus vs fear. Then there's bardic performance, boosting spells, Riddywipple gets to cast spells from the Sorcerer list being a faerie dragon and he has a couple of wands for the purpose. Not much in combat healing but she can do a few things out of combat. I look forward to playing with everyone.

Etu approaches the globe and attempts to gather any information she can from it, such as how to activate it.

"You won't find any Liches out there, but I will happily let you out of this place, so long as my companions are done asking questions?"

Etu will start the process of letting them out, but will take her time doing so to give her comrades time to ask more questions. Unless it's not pertinent in which case let them go.

After saying her piece, Etu used Kramac and his mount as cover to move away from the conversation.

Etu trips and, somehow, manages to trip again on the way down.

Etu stopped with the plan as she heard Montgomery speak of the jewel. She instead walked to his side and heldit up. "As you can see, the jewel here is not one of the sage jewels but instead a mere knock off. A rather expensive replica, if you will. We've gone through a lot of trouble getting into this place, and we'd rather it not get destroyed. Montgomery loves this sort of thing, I'm sure he'll have a clearer head for law and arguments when he's not worried about our mission going wrong."

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (19) + 14 = 33

"A fantastic idea, Kramac, I have complete faith in Montgomery and I'm not sure I can sweet talk these new friends of ours," Etu said.

If they take offense to them leaving then Etu will also stay put.

"I don't believe that anything is as black and white as that, Badru, but I thank you for your assistance," Etu says with a smile, accepting her gem back with a small bow.

Once she straightens herself out twice, once from the bow and once from Kramac's slap on the back, she turns to the group. "Let us continue, then. I'm interested to see if this Amethyst Sage has been down here for all these years and is willing to talk to us."

No worries, mate. Pathfinders gotta do what Pathfinders gotta do. I can see this being the least picked option due to the sheer rarity of having such an expensive gem. For what it's worth, depending on the views of the party Etu would have grumbled a lot but went along with it.

"I am also opposed to slaying Saruna, not when her knowledge is so valuable. I have some gems that might work, and I will gladly trade them if it means she can continue on."

"Truly, we are in the presence of a one of the Society's most learned scholars," Etu claimed, patiently waiting for someone much hardier than her to go through.

"If there's another way around, it would be best to speak to Badru about it. Alternatively, I can attempt to yell to get his attention, as well as the attention of anything else. I can be quite loud."

"Since our gracious host has left us, does anyone have any tracking ability? Or shall we simply keep turning left until we reach our destination, dearies?"

Short notice, but I'm currently in the process of moving so I'm going to be posting less for a couple of days.

"She may not agree to talk to us if we side with Badru. I think we should go with Saruna. She has clearly been wronged, and this could be a cathartic experience with her and perhaps allow her to regain some trust in the Scarab Sages, knowing that the group has moved away from the terrible things that had caused her this pain in the first place. Being able to trust us is the first step to healing the festering wounds on her missing heart." Etu tries to explain how she feels about this, but glances at Montgomery.

"Though, as the Scarab Sage of the group, I will defer to you and your knowledge, Montgomery dear, and leave the decision to you."
