So I was building a higher-level version of my kineticist and after taking the Kinetic Activation feat, I was considering which scrolls or wands to buy, when the question occurred to me - what are the spell DCs and spell attack values I would use?

The kineticist class does not seem to have proficiency with spell DC or spell attacks. I would think that the feat should have text similar to Trick Magic Item to cover this, and I would probably have a player use that feat's rules for spell attack roll and spell DC if I were a GM. For a home campaign, I might even allow using CON for the ability mod.

But as a player in PF society, since there's no rules in the feat, I should probably just stick with utility spells without DCs or attacks (such as Create Water, Mud Pit, and Obscuring Mist).

I made a Dex-based dedicated gate water kineticist, and initially I was going to take Flexible Blast in case I was forced into melee, but then I realized if that happened, I could just blast them in the face with the ranged version anyway. Either way provokes if they have AoOs. So I took Elemental Weapon (rapier) instead for instances where an AoO-er is in my face.

I understand the brutal portion being very useful for a Str-based kineticist, but I'm not sure of the value of the finesse portion for water/earth Dex-builds (unless one really wanted to use the sweep or forceful keywords with a Dex-build in melee).

"The Chronicle sheet gives you access to all of the approved treasures and other goodies presented in the module, one level’s worth of experience for a character of your choice, and gold appropriate to a character of that level."

For "that level", is that the level of the character, or the level of the module?

And then there is the situation where you might fight enemies using an Uncommon racial weapon, and you can't "keep" the weapon (purchase after the mod) from the fallen opponents because it's not on the chronicle sheet. *sigh*
