Ember was born to a nobles family, but his birth rank (13th), as well as his quick charismatic way to influence others quickly push him out into the world, "for your own good" (most likely so internal warring between siblings would not turn bloody). The noble family pulled some stings and use a few contacts to have Ember whisked away by a strange elven merchant using a flying ship. There, the merchant attempted to train Ember in the ways of shadows, stealth, and magic. The shadows and stealth were nearly impossible for Ember, but magic and manipulating objects came naturally, and thus this is how Ember came to follow Tinks, the shadow princess.

Now thrust into the world, Ember is growing into his powers, to one day return to his family and take his rightful place or join the shadow princess and rule the sky.
