Male Human Unchained Rogue 16 AC 35/23/25 Perc +21 (+6 vs traps) Saves 11/21/10 HP 142/142

Don't do stealth synergy, at this level nobody except Desmond really has a chance to sneak past anything.

I would definitely love any of the flanking teamwork feats. A few come to mind:
Outflank
Improved Outflank
Gang Up (redundant if combined with improved outflank)

But yeah that fat +5 inspire bonus is where the gravy really is.

Male Human Unchained Rogue 16 AC 35/23/25 Perc +21 (+6 vs traps) Saves 11/21/10 HP 142/142

Thanks Karnog. I definitely remember adding that section of loot to Desmond's sheet, so I believe that is correct for his current resources.

Oh baldwin, another item I would be interested in, a cracked pearly white spindle ioun stone. Gives very slow regeneration. Let me know about availability please. Also the availability of a wand or protection from evil.

Current Money: 75813gp

Purchases
Celestial Armor (plus shadow enchantment): 26150gp
Unfettered Shirt: 10000gp
Wand of Invisibility (9 charges): 810gp
Wand of Reduce Person (14 charges): 210gp
Wand of Fly (12 charges): 2700gp
Cloak of Resistance Upgrade to +4: 12000gp
Belt of Dexterity Upgrade to +4: 12000gp
+1 Adamantium Shortsword Upgrade to +2 Menacing: 16000gp

Sells (all sold for 1/2 price)
+2 Shadow Studded Leather: 3962gp
Quick Runner's Shirt: 500gp
+1 Menacing Frost Shortsword: 4155gp

Final Money: 4560gp

I've streamlined my weapons to be simpler, they're both +2 so the math should be easier to keep track off, but don't worry I still have that fat menacing bonus and in addition I'll be using that adamantium shortsword on a regular basis.

Other than that, Desmond has picked up a few new magical tricks, but otherwise it's just a numbers adjustment. AC went up by 5 which is pretty sweet, that armor is really nice.

Male Human Unchained Rogue 16 AC 35/23/25 Perc +21 (+6 vs traps) Saves 11/21/10 HP 142/142

Ah good, I believe I was confused earlier and thought we would still need to fight our way back.

Karnog, is everything with loot updated and divided up yet? It's been quite a while and I'm not sure how accurate my sheet is.

Male Human Unchained Rogue 16 AC 35/23/25 Perc +21 (+6 vs traps) Saves 11/21/10 HP 142/142

Sounds good!

baldwin, may I suggest, if it seems feasible within your current plans, that we attempt to make it to town first? In that case, you could finish your work on the next section while we go about our shopping.

Male Human Unchained Rogue 16 AC 35/23/25 Perc +21 (+6 vs traps) Saves 11/21/10 HP 142/142

Understood. Are we not returning to town, and if we are how much time do we have to get supplies?

Male Human Unchained Rogue 16 AC 35/23/25 Perc +21 (+6 vs traps) Saves 11/21/10 HP 142/142

Awesome, thanks baldwin.

To be clear, when you say "not available in town" as opposed to "no", what's the difference?

Also, what is the verdict on what kind of dex belts are available? I may even go with a dex/con belt.

Male Human Unchained Rogue 16 AC 35/23/25 Perc +21 (+6 vs traps) Saves 11/21/10 HP 142/142

Ok so I think this is what I should be looking for:

Celestial Armor
Headband of the Ninjitsu Gives insight bonuses to attack rolls on sneak attacks, and allows me to sneak attack creatures with concealment (even total concealment)
Belt of Dex, mine is only at a +2 so I can probably stand to upgrade it
Cloak of Resistance, mine is only at +2 so I can upgrade as well
Xorn Robe
Unfettered Shirt
Trapspringer Gloves
Cap of the Free Thinker

I am also wanting to pick up some wands with arcane spells, namely invisibility, perhaps reduce person and fly as well.

Can you let me know the availability of such items?

Male Human Unchained Rogue 16 AC 35/23/25 Perc +21 (+6 vs traps) Saves 11/21/10 HP 142/142

Two more shrines of power to destroy to get prepared for fighting the demon prince. Got it.

Not sure what other loot we have to divide, but Desmond currently has 75k in gold right now so he'd definitely like to go shopping. As I say above, I definitely need to pick up a way to fly, and something for my will saves would be helpful. Perhaps that ioun stone trick with a wayfinder that makes you immune to mind control?

Male Human Unchained Rogue 16 AC 35/23/25 Perc +21 (+6 vs traps) Saves 11/21/10 HP 142/142

As a heads up to all of my games, I will be completely unavailable from the 15th-20th. I will be in an area without cell service or internet and as such will be completely dark. Please DMPC me as needed to keep the game moving.

Male Human Unchained Rogue 16 AC 35/23/25 Perc +21 (+6 vs traps) Saves 11/21/10 HP 142/142

So how are things standing for this game? The boards just automatically marked the campaign as inactive.

Male Human Unchained Rogue 16 AC 35/23/25 Perc +21 (+6 vs traps) Saves 11/21/10 HP 142/142

Eh, I think I will regretfully decline. The field is already crowded, and the only place I could carve out a niche is by playing an arcane caster, and since it is specifically a low-level campaign that doesn't lead to being very interesting since there's only so many times color spraying a group of baddies feels interesting.

Male Human Unchained Rogue 16 AC 35/23/25 Perc +21 (+6 vs traps) Saves 11/21/10 HP 142/142

Uhhhhh yeah I've been pretty busy lately but it's really hard to pass up on a Baldwin game, and I suppose my campaign tab has been getting cleaned up recently.

It looks like the field is already getting pretty crowded. 7 people involved. Are you sure you want more?

Male Human Unchained Rogue 16 AC 35/23/25 Perc +21 (+6 vs traps) Saves 11/21/10 HP 142/142

Flight and protection for my will saves are my biggest concerns. I'm not sure if it would be easier to get something like a wand of fly or an actual item. My boots and cloak slot are already taken.

Male Human Unchained Rogue 16 AC 35/23/25 Perc +21 (+6 vs traps) Saves 11/21/10 HP 142/142

Meh, circlet of persuasion is ok but nothing groundbreaking. My bluff won't be high enough to fool anybody important at this level, my UMD is at +19 so I can basically do whatever I want without a check now. Honestly something to make me fail less will saves would be nice.

Male Human Unchained Rogue 16 AC 35/23/25 Perc +21 (+6 vs traps) Saves 11/21/10 HP 142/142

I really need to widen my magical options, I can use almost any magical item without chance of failure. I can pick up lots of wands and scrolls and be very useful with them.

Male Human Unchained Rogue 16 AC 35/23/25 Perc +21 (+6 vs traps) Saves 11/21/10 HP 142/142

@Karnog - I have the ring of cold resistance right now.

If we don't think it's game-breaking Desmond would definitely benefit from the starmetal weapons. He's still sporting +2 weapons at this level, which is kind of surprising.

@Nym - Metamagic rods of piercing may help.

Male Human Unchained Rogue 16 AC 35/23/25 Perc +21 (+6 vs traps) Saves 11/21/10 HP 142/142

I vote to return, I would really like to shop. But if we want to continue I wouldn't complain.

Male Human Unchained Rogue 16 AC 35/23/25 Perc +21 (+6 vs traps) Saves 11/21/10 HP 142/142

I say keep the ring of telekinesis, very handy.

Yes, on top of Desmond's list is the ability to fly somehow. Also I've been heavily invested in UMD but haven't used it at all, so I can pick up a bunch of wands and stuff. I basically auto-succeed on wands at this point.

Male Human Unchained Rogue 16 AC 35/23/25 Perc +21 (+6 vs traps) Saves 11/21/10 HP 142/142

Desmond Level 16
HP: 5 (roll) +2 (con) +1 (FC) = +8 hp
BaB: +1
Saves: Reflex +1 (rolls eyes)
Class Features: Debilitating injury is now at -2 (-8 against Desmond), Rogue Talent (Hunter's Surprise)
Skills: +8 (class) +1 (human) = +9, Keeping most maxed, but also investing in bluff
Ability Score Increase: +1 dex, no effect

Desmond is going to have well over 50k after this loot divide, I would really like to go shopping.

Will get my level up done later today.

And oh joy, now Kalim can threaten me with 8th level spells :P

Round 8 Standard Action

The tornado of steel begins...

Attack (flank, BoF): 1d20 + 21 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 21 + 4 + 2 = 34
Damage: 1d6 + 8 + 1d6 + 8d6 ⇒ (6) + 8 + (3) + (2, 2, 5, 2, 4, 3, 1, 3) = 39

Enemy struck gets a -2 to hit and AC, which is -6 against Desmond, and he takes 2 strength damage. If that attack lands, Desmond's AC will be 40 for this round. More bonuses against evil sources as per Karnog's buffs.

Round 9 Actions

And then the tornado continues!

Attack (flank, BoF): 1d20 + 18 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 18 + 4 + 2 = 29
Damage: 1d6 + 8 + 1d6 + 8d6 ⇒ (5) + 8 + (6) + (5, 5, 4, 4, 5, 2, 6, 2) = 52

Damage: 1d6 + 8 + 1d6 + 8d6 ⇒ (4) + 8 + (4) + (4, 4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 4, 1) = 50

Attack (flank, BoF): 1d20 + 14 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 14 + 4 + 2 = 25
Damage: 1d6 + 9 + 8d6 ⇒ (5) + 9 + (1, 5, 3, 2, 3, 5, 6, 4) = 43

Enemy struck gets a -2 to hit and AC, which is -6 against Desmond, and he takes 2 strength damage per hit. If that attack lands, Desmond's AC will be 40 for this round (extends in duration by 1 round for every extra hit). More bonuses against evil sources as per Karnog's buffs.

Desmond flips around the enemy in front of him to catch him off guard!

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 26 ⇒ (5) + 26 = 31

Moving 5 feet away and then 5 feet back to get into the same position. Since Desmond moved at least 10 feet he gets sneak attack. Using the +2 to attack rolls/AC/reflex saves from blessing of fervor this round. Attacking the guy at AE48.

Attack (blessing of fervor, inspiring word): 1d20 + 21 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 21 + 2 + 2 = 39

Apologies for the delay due to me, I had a long weekend due to the holiday and didn't have much chance to check the boards.

Is the vrock flying out of reach of melee?

Desmond moves quickly to the east, attacking one of the last cultists that remains standing.

Attack (blessing of fervor, inspiring word): 1d20 + 21 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 21 + 2 + 2 = 26
Damage: 1d6 + 8 + 1d6 + 8d6 ⇒ (3) + 8 + (5) + (2, 2, 4, 1, 4, 5, 4, 2) = 40
