Grand Lodge

Hello! My name is Brent Jans and I'm the Venture-Captain for Edmonton, AB, Canada. Starting a new thread because we just launched a few new sites for Pathfinders to connect in Edmonton, and I wanted to get the word out.

If you are interested in PFS, stop by our new website and forums to get the latest news and information about Society play in Edmonton. You can register for events on our Warhorn page. As well, you can find us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter.

We currently run weekly game nights at two locations: Monday nights at Mission: Fun and Games in St. Albert; and Tuesday nights at The Adventurer's Guild. Newcomers are always welcome and details are on the website and Warhorn pages.

If you have any questions regarding Pathfinder Society in Edmonton, or even around the province, don't hesitate to contact me at pfsedmontonvc@gmail.com; I'm happy to help out.

This is the official announcement of the creation of the Edmonton Pathfinder Lodge, offering a home and support for Pathfinders in Edmonton and Alberta. We are working hard to promote Pathfinder Organized Play both in our fair city and provincially. We have begun running monthly Gamedays here in Edmonton on the second Saturday of every month (you can find the next one by searching for events near you).

You will also find me running some tables at MythaCon, January 14 to 16, 2011 in Calgary, Alberta. Check out their website in the coming days for more details, and I’ll have that Event up here very soon.

All our Gamedays welcome new players, and we are ready to get you playing in no time at all. If you are interested in getting more involved, say by volunteering to GM, IM me here on the message boards and we can talk.

If you have any questions regarding Pathfinder Organized Play in Edmonton, feel free to IM me here or email me at the address listed with our Event.

I look forward to seeing you at the next Gameday!

I just wanted to jump on here and say thank-you to the great GMs I had for Pathfinder Society play this weekend. All three GMs were absolutely fantastic and made the organized play experience a good one. I do want to give special kudos to Azmyth, for being the single most entertaining and positive GM I encountered. Not to diminish my other GMs, but Azmyth really stood out from already elite company.

As someone who is looking to spearhead organized play in my area (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada), it was great to experience the best that organized play can be, and have that example for my own efforts.

Thanks to Joshua Frost and the whole Organized Play team for a great Gen Con!
