I guess I am missing it somewhere, But Do the players get to hold onto the Shards, when they leave Shelia? Or does Shelia hold onto them? Giving one of my players a +2 to all Skills, seems pretty powerful. Also, does the Ioun Stone function, while its inside the Shard?

Thanks in advance.

This is how we do it. I take the maps from the Adventure paths, and copy them into Paintshop Pro. Then, I scale them, Yes it pixelates them. But for home play it works fine.

Here is a link to what it looks like. I don't have access to a Plotter, so I have to print them out in the Laser Printer, and I Print in Black and White, so it saves on money. Then I spend about an hour prep time to piece them together, and tape them. You can buy a cardboard trifold thingy from Walmart for like 2 dollars and then attach it to it, for easy folding.

I recently started playing Jade Regent, as a Human Keleshite Cleric of Sarenrae, Whom graduated from the Venicaan College in Katheer.

I made him into a Doctor, using the two traits, I took Wealthy so I could afford the Doctors Outfit, Tools, and a few other items that helped with Healing.

I took Merciful Healer Archetype Which helps a lot since it gives you Combat Medic, so you do not provoke AoO's while using your Heal Skill or Healing Spells. So you can stand there and touch your Fighter while he is fighting, just stand behind him!

I also took the Sub-Domain Restoration, I love its ability Restorative Touch. Allowing me to relieve Sickness, Nausea, Fatigue, and a slew of other ailments. This is also nice when I'm standing behind the Barbarian in the party and he is just coming out of rage, and starts Fatigue!.

Like I said I took Wealthy as a trait for the extra cash. My second trait was Venicaan Medic. (+2 trait bonus to Heal checks to treat diseases or poisons, and Heal is always a class skill.) Our GM also allowed us a free trait from the Adventure path, so I took Rescued (Koya) (+2 Trait Bonus to Cure Spells.) Which is really nice at lower levels when you roll 1 on your CLW.

So at level one, I am a full Cleric, that CANT channel Positive Energy to Harm Undead, But can do Restorative Touch, I have a helluva Heal skill Check, and I can use a casting of Cure Light wounds to heal 1d8+3 Damage. PLUS, I can convert my spells over to healing, so Healing is not the only thing I can do!. Buffing Party members is fun too. Once I get a little more cash I am gonna pick up a Wand of Cure Light Wounds, or Moderate. So I can free up the slots. Plus I plan on taking the Achievement Feat, Healers Touch. But that is dependent on your GM. Oh and I can channel Positive Energy to heal the party, when I run out of spells. Although it does not count towards my Achievement goal :(

I hear that Witches can make excellent Healers too, Depending on your GM and if he allowed other D20 Sources, you could ask him to convert over the Healer from the Miniatures Handbook. It was a one Trick Pony when it came to healing. Not much else though.
