Congrats on winning the book! Not a bad little investment :)

As a teacher with a diverse set of lovable students, I want to thank Paizo for including everyone. Back in my high school days, you had to hide that you played D&D. Its time for those dark days to be a thing of the past. We’re ALL gamers, we’re all part of the same community.

Guessing in Challenge Rating order: Flesh is 8 CR, Alchemical is 9 CR... the playtest has Clay at 10 CR.

"It likes riddles, praps it does, does it?"

A true consolation prize would be to have another game:

Find 100 answers to questions from the world of Golarion

Create 100 NPC characters who could inhabit the Age of Ashes, etc.

When we read the Hobbit, my students love when I put riddles on the quizzes :)

It's a Mad World, guys. *tosses hankie to Oholoko* 20 min... how could only ONE spoiler be missing :(

Dude, Ready a Step when attacked... 2 actions, but that is so awesome! Nice idea, Bardarok!

There is a sidebar on CRB page 91 which tells how to up the damage of a weapon. One of my players had an Ogre Greatsword which did 1d12+2 damage.

In Episode 7: Rats What Friends are For (for good time and bad times), Jason states Zel can use any number of hero points (12:41)... but Spoiler 93 says a hero point is a fortune effect, which means you can only use on hero point per check)???

Small insight: my players have used the new hero point system and we love it!!! One player is very nervous because he has 6, but has come close to being knocked to 0 HPs twice...

"to get it pulled together" - Jason Bulmahn

Hmmm, almost like a "starter" or "teaser" PDF... maybe a high resolution one with an ancestry, a class, add in a monster page... maybe Treasure Distribution Table... haha okay, I am biased... just I would really like to see that table :)

Hmmm, looks more like prices have been shifted by 10... battleaxe is 2 GP instead of 20... just looking at spoiler 84, the starting cash is 15 GP.
Well starting wealth was 150 SP in the Playtest so this does match up.

The top right of the PaizoCon Equipment page screenshot has 150 SP as the official starting cash.

(I'm going to skip the skills spread for now at least, since it's pretty detailed and I don't personally care much about Craft or Deception)

DMs need skills... Did they modify anything on Craft from the playtest. BTW, Tqo, you rule :)

Very minor, but it looks like the pricing of items might be simpler: Spoiler 97 - striking (4) is 65 GP, greater (12) is 1065 GP and major (19) is 31065 GP. So maybe is just 31K to raise a striking to a major striking rune.

Spoiler card 54 Weapon Legend... it appears Exotic Weapons might now be called Advanced Weapons. Interesting :)

Just finishing up Oath session 2... Carina uses lay on hands [55:16] and it appears Zel gets +2 AC instead of the +1 AC from the playtest... its also a Focus spell (whatever that means).

Watching the video on Youtube: comparing Kira's AC to playtest, she has a 18 versus a 16. The vipers had a 15 AC in playtest and now appear to have 16s. This could be an example of trained giving a +2 instead of +1.

I also noticed that Jason says some monsters and higher level characters will get special powers versus natural 1 attacks. I do not remember that from the Playtest. :)

Now that +40 depends on whether or not magic weapons still go to +5... PF2e might go the 5e route of +3 is legendary or maybe magic weapons just will have additional die instead of hit bonus. I feel this will not be the case on what I have heard about the magic weapon spell yesterday: +1 hit and +1 die damage.
Haha... Captain Morgan just bet me to the punch 😂

Garfaulk, I would think with the possible new rules for PF2e, a 20th level fighter would have legendary prof bonus 28, plus Str 24 for a +7... throw in a +5 weapon and you would have a +40 hit.
Ah, you were responding to not using level bonus... my bad, I will still leave this post because +40 is such a wicked number. :)

I want to thank the Paizo team for doing a great job on the playtest. While my gaming companions only reached the conclusion of Part 5, it was an amazing experience and a wicked end for the characters. On the bright side, playing the playtest gave us an opportunity to return to Pathfinder after four years of 5e D&D. We played Pathfinder for four year before and now we have become very interested in Starfinder. So we look forward to August 2019 and, hopefully, being able to play Starfinder (please keep this game updated to be compatible with 2e) as well as 2nd edition Pathfinder :)

Been gaming for almost 27 years and one thing I can say about Pathfinder 2e... it is the first game my players have used Perception or a Knowledge skill in battle... it is the first system, no one has gotten mad when I tell them they do not have weapons drawn... it is the first system where my gamers both the 40 year olds and the teens do something different every round... THREE fricken actions and every game someone does something neat... today it was the Quick draw feat, rogue used Stealth, Quick drew her heavy crossbow, dropped it and Quick drew her shortbow... 2nd level rogue and she got two sneak attacks and she is 14 years old. Everytime we play this game... the teens talk less about PF1e and the grown ups talk less about 5e... yes, there is nothing wrong with PF1e... I played it for four years and stopped because the power creep was awful and gamemastering was too complicated... then played four years of 5e and found I was making up too many rules and reading too many homebrewed stuff... so PF2e feels like a middle ground between too much math and not enough rules :)

Been playing 2e twice a week with 40 year olds and also in my high school Tabletop Gaming Club with 15 year olds. The 40somes have been playing 5e previously and the kiddos have been Pathfinder... all agree Pathfinder 2e is becoming the better of the two. The game is fun and smooth as silk to play. No lie the THREE action rule is key to making this a very strong game.
