When it's my turn to Dm (after the current campeign is over) I will roll the stats for each player, and then they can choose the stats ;)

In other words, I roll 4d6-lowestd6 for times to get one set of 4 numbers. I'll do this 3 times, so I get 3 sets of 4 numbers. Then each player can choose 1 set to pick the highest scores, then one set and pick the middle two and one set to pick the lowest. Once one set has been chosen, it can't be rechosen.

For example:
4d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 6, 6) = 204d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 1, 4) = 124d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 4, 3) = 164d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 4, 3) = 11 would become: 17, 11, 13, 10

4d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 2, 1) = 154d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 2, 6) = 164d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 6, 5) = 164d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 6, 2) = 15 would become: 14, 14, 15, 14

4d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 6, 4) = 174d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 5, 5) = 184d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 2, 6) = 114d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 4, 6) = 15 would become: 15, 16, 10, 14

So one can choose: 15 and 16 bottom pool als highest scores from that pool, 13 and 11 from the top pool als middle scores, and 14 and 14 from the middle pool als lowest scores (16,15,14,14,13,11). But you can also go for 17 and 13 from the top pool as highest, 15 and 14 from the bottom pool als middles, and 14 and 14 from the middle pool as lowest (17,15,14,14,14,13).
Each player may find different combinations, but they all have the "same starting stats".

Honestly, there is more to necromancy than just creating (and controlling) undeads.

I've been a CG Eldrich Knight specialized in necromancy, and there are a lot of Necro spells that that don't involve creating undead creatures. Some are even against undead creatures (e.g. Disrupt Undead).

Most notable and usable Necro spells for L/N/CG Arcane casters:
- Touch of fatigue
- Ray of Enfeeblement
- Ray of Sickening
- Ray of Exhaustion
- (Wall of) Blindness/deafness
- Brow Gasher
- False life (greater)
- Life Pact
- Stricken Heart
- Halt undead
- Healing thief <- this one is hilarious btw
- Howling agony
- Vampiric touch
- Bestow Curse (personal favorite)
- Bloatbomb <- hilarious one
- Deathless
- Enervation
- Fear
- Suffocation
- Vampiric Shadow Shield
- Waves of fatigue
- Banshee Blast
- Curse, Major
- Undeath to death
- Unwilling shield <- hilarious and functional
- Finger of Death (personal favorite)
- Waves of Exhaustion
- Clone
- Energy Drain
- Soul bind
- Suffocation, mass
- Wail of the Banshee

Okay, second attempt.

TXT:

Human, 10th level Mystic Theurge, Wiz 3, Cleric 3, Mystic Theurge 4. That's fixed, okay? Just roll with it. Middle age means his casting stats can be at least okay. Casts like a Clr 7 / Wiz 7. Let's say he has Magical Knack on the Wizard side, so wizard ECL is 9.

Going to give him a Lantern Archon through the Leadership feat. I think the Archon will pick up a couple of PC levels as a result. Hard to say what would work well here. Maybe fighter or ranger for feats, so it can zap harder with its laser? Anyway, he thinks the archon is there because Heaven has blessed his cause. Half right. The archon is also there to keep an eye on him, because he's kind of arrogant and can get carried away with the blasting sometimes. The archon has (so far) been able to whisper in his ear, calm him down, and keep him from getting carried away.

If playing solo, his preferred tactics include invisibility to get time to buff; then lots of buffing; then Summon Monster IV for meat shields, followed by blasting. (We all agree that he won't blast as well as a dedicated blaster. But let's make him the best blaster he can be!) If things go horribly wrong he has Dim Door. If playing with a group he'll keep Breath of Resurrection prepped -- lawful means team player!

Anyway. Given these constraints -- what then?

Doug M.

If you can or are allowed, the can make him Apprentice 1/ Cleric 2/ wizard 2/ MT5.

The Apprenctice class (only 1 lvl avialable, found HERE) can provide 1 CL for both cleric and wizard, so you can get MT 1 lvl earlier. I've made my own NPC Mystic Theurge for story purposses, albeit a CG Ratfolk MT, he's a shopkeerer who can make most things himself, but also has a major Intelligence bureau running (with small mice as his spies), so he can provide the party with info and gear

A Cerebremancer is 3.5, not Pathfinder. I think I'm going to make both PC's (I have HeroLab, can crank out character REALLY fast, lol)... and then maybe even bring both and see which would fit in better.

So either a
Trench Fighter/Cleric
Swashbuckler/Cleric

and a
Wizard/Cleric/MT
Arcanist/Cleric/MT
Wizard/Oracle/MT
Arcanist/Oracle/MT

First guy will be a gun healer, and 2nd guy is going to be a undead controlling guy.
For the 2nd, I read that both the Undead Lord and Undead Master aren't worth it. Thoughts on archtypes or templates for the last guy? Should I blow the 2 levels and be a lich, or vampire?

EDIT:
Also, best races suggestion? I can do any basic or advanced none 3PP race. 30 pt buy.

If you're going for MT, you should definately consider the apprentice class (only 1 level, but counts as 1 lvl Cleric AND 1 lvl wizard).

Apprentice!

That way, you can go:
Apprentice 1/ Cleric 2 / wizard 2/ MT 7

In the current campaign I'm DMing, I've created a shopkeeper/CIA chief, a ratfolk MT (lvl 10) with small mice in eeeeevery city to do his espionage. It's fun :D

I think it's more of a moral question rather than RAW or RAI. Why would a barbarian, who is raging, have a change of heart? With any other class (especially Monk or Pally), I can imagine they could have a change of heart, but not a fury packed raging barbarian.

So,

Ryze Kuja wrote:

Change of Heart is using a Diplomacy check to influence a target's attitude by two or more steps, and while a Barbarian (even a Wild Rager) is in a rage, they cannot use Cha-based skills.

In this case I would say Change of Heart would be able to be used while you're normally attacking, but not while Raging.

this basically summerizes it nicely.

Since in the desciption of Shroud of the City is no DC mentioned, you can apply the general DC rule (found here) for Oracle's revelations:

Paizo wrote:
Unless otherwise noted, the DC to save against these revelations is equal to 10 + 1/2 the oracle’s level + the oracle’s Charisma modifier.

Hope this helped

I think the idea is to use it with any rounds/level spells.

The wording is interesting, it increases the duration of "any divine spell affecting you". Does that mean if you're affected by a group buff like BLESSING OF FERVOR you would increase the duration of the spell ... for everyone?

That would be to good to be true.

If you extend the duration of the spell affecting you, it only targets you.

Just like if someone were to dispel the Blessing of Ferver affecting you (and succeeds in the dispel), it would only be dispelled for you, not for your partymembers

Don't forget the language of love, most adventuring heroes always forget the tenderly language of love ;)

Yes!
My warpriest had 3 main weapons:
- Cuddles (+1 evil outsider-bane cold iron longsword)
- Kisses (+1 evil outsider-bane silver longsword)
- Kindness (+1 undead-bane silver longsword)

it was fun to kill vampires with kindness, slay demons with cuddles, and obliberate devils with kisses.

Where all other heros use epic names (not judging), I prefer silly names to mentally mess with my enemies. When we were facing a horde of demons, I pointed my sword at them and said "death by cuddles". They laughed, we laughed, the sword cut trough them like a warm knife in butter, the stopped laughing, we continued laughing....good times :')

Urgralgra:
That link does not work and I have tried troubleshooting it with no success so here are the stats:

+2 Strength +2 Constitution -2 Charisma: Urgals are strong and hearty but they don’t have good people skills

Medium: Urgals are Medium creatures and receive no bonuses or penalties due to their size.

Normal Speed: Urgals have a base speed of 30 feet.

Darkvision 60 Feet: Urgals can see in the dark up to 60 feet.

Weapon Familiarity: Urgals are always proficient with the Battleaxe and Greatclub.

Skill Training: Climb and Knowledge (Geography) are always class skills for Urgals.

Relentless: Urgals gain a +2 bonus on combat maneuver checks made to bull rush or overrun an opponent. This bonus only applies while both the Urgal and its opponent are standing on the ground.

Climb: Urgals have a climb speed of 20 feet, and gain a +8 racial bonus on Climb checks that a climb speed normally grants.

Alternate Racial Traits

Gore: Some Urgals are trained to use their horns in combat. The horns do 1d4 of damage and are a natural weapon. This replaces the Weapon Familiarity Racial Trait.

Ferocity: Some Urgals have the following extraordinary ability: If the hit points of a Urgal falls below 0 but it is not yet dead, it can continue to fight. If it does, it is staggered, and loses 1 hit point each round. It still dies when its hit points reach a negative amount equal to its Constitution score. This replaces Skill Training, Relentless and Climb Racial Traits.

Hatred: Some Urgals deep-seeded hatred of humans spurs them to undertake special training to dispatch them with ease. Such Urgals get a +1 racial bonus on attack rolls against Humans. This replaces the Relentless racial trait.

Urgralgra Racial Traits

Ability scores: Specialized (+1 RP)

Medium: 0 RP

Normal Speed: 0 RP

Darkvision 60 Feet: 2 RP

Weapon Familiarity: 2 RP

Skill Training: 1 RP

Relentless: 1 RP.

Climb: 2 RP

Total RP: 9 RP

All the core races range from 8-11 RP, so your Urgralgra with 9 RP fits perfectly with the core races

Literally just build a non-unchained Synthesist Summoner and buy a Cyclopsean Helm. By level 3 you will be able to pick up Craft Wondrous Item and use the "take 20" on crafting checks to reduce the Material Cost of equipment. From there you're only 3-4 magic items, a little bit of Gold, and BOOM free infinite Wishes by level 5.

Bu...wh...HOW!?

I get the Cyclops helm, craft, and take 20..but how does he get infinite wishes?!?!?!

One could also use the "curses" for flavor, being blessed by a deity AFTER being "cursed" by someone/something else.

I'm playing a Rage Prophet (CG) at my current party (starting as Barbarian) and the background story was that as a barbarian, I tried to buy time to fight off a demon invasion in a small city, so the civilians could flee. During these fights, I got "cursed" (the Lame curse), but the heroism in my deed got me blessed by a dragon deity (Animitas, NG) which allowed me to miraculoulsy survive the invasion and live to fight another day.
