Hi All,

Any idea if this AP is going be sanctioned for pfs play and if so when?

I just thought the lyrics for Road to Nowhere were pretty on the nose for the adventure path. Just an observation.

Talking Heads - Road To Nowhere

Well we know where we're going
But we don't know where we've been
And we know what we're knowing
But we can't say what we've seen
And we're not little children
And we know what we want
And the future is certain
Give us time to work it out

Yeah

We're on a road to nowhere
Come on inside
Taking that ride to nowhere
We'll take that ride
I'm feeling okay this morning
And you know
We're on the road to paradise
Here we go, here we go

We're on a ride to nowhere
Come on inside
Taking that ride to nowhere
We'll take that ride
Maybe you wonder where you are
I don't care
Here is where time is on our side
Take you there, take you there

We're on a road to nowhere
We're on a road to nowhere
We're on a road to nowhere

There's a city in my mind
Come along and take that ride
And it's alright, baby, it's all right
And it's very far away
But it's growing day by day and it's all right
Baby, it's all right
Would you like to come along
You can help me sing the song
And it's all right, baby, it's all right
They can tell you what to do
But they'll make a fool of you
And it's all right, baby, it's all right

There's a city in my mind
Come along and take that ride
And it's alright, baby, it's all right
And it's very far away
But it's growing day by day and it's all right
Baby, it's all right, yeah
Would you like to come along
You can help me sing the song
And it's all right, baby, it's all right
They can tell you what to do
But they'll make a fool of you and it's all right
Baby, it's all right

We're on a road to nowhere
We're on a road to nowhere
We're on a road to nowhere

We're on a road to nowhere

Hi all,

Opinions on a easier haunt interaction system. The rules as they stand can be quite frustrating when dealing with a Haunt. Flavorsome though they are.

A haunt maybe interacted with in a similar way to a trap maybe disarmed.
A knowledge religion check (or another knowledge check that be relevant to the particular haunt) may be used against the saving throw DC to resist or negate the effect of the haunt. If the check is successful you may know the effect, trigger and reset of the haunt. If you succeed by 5 or more you know the destruction conditions of the haunt and any weaknesses; noticing them from the manifestation of the phenomenon.

Is the any way to pick up a Prestige Award from a different faction?

For example picking up the Noble Title award from Sovereign Court, while remaining a member of the Grand Lodge.

From Telekinetic Blast wrote:
You throw a nearby unattended object at a single foe as a ranged attack. The object must weigh no more than 5 pounds per kineticist level you possess. If the attack hits, the target and the thrown object each take the blast's damage. Since the object is enfolded in strands of aether, even if you use this power on a magic weapon or other unusual object, the attack doesn't use any of the magic weapon's bonuses or effects; it simply deals your blast damage. Alternatively, you can loosen the strands of aether in order to deal damage to both the object and the target as though you had thrown the object yourself (instead of dealing your normal blast damage).

Hopefully a simple enough question about Telekinetic Blast. I know a blast using a magic weapon doesn't use any of it's bonuses and effects, but does the blast count as say silver if you used a silver weapon or ammunition?

Visually, I'll be using metal sling bullets anyway.

Was there ever a final ruling on how far a bomb may be thrown and what it's range increment was?

Just an odd thing that's come up in game. What can you actually fit in a handy haversack? Is it's internal shape always the same or does it change to fit the items it contains?

rules text wrote:

A backpack of this sort appears to be well made, well used, and quite ordinary. It has two side pouches, each of which appears large enough to hold about a quart of material. In fact, each is like a bag of holding and can actually hold material of as much as 2 cubic feet in volume or 20 pounds in weight. The large central portion of the pack can contain up to 8 cubic feet or 80 pounds of material. Even when so filled, the backpack always weighs only 5 pounds.

This came up over the discussion of whether you can fit a rod (2-3ft long) in the haversack or whether the haversack was too shallow.

Hi all,

Just looking for a magical or mundane way to create a small grove of trees (for a range of pockets). Overnight or within a month or so if possible?

Shadow Lodge

One of my players will soon be taking on a Cavalier PC.

I was wondering what the most commonly used rules relating to mounted combat are and what I should be most familiar with. Also any common problems with adjudicating mounted combat.

Anything on exotic mounts might also be helpful.

Hi All,

I just wanted to check if the enviroments of the planes, such as weightlessness and timelessness on the astral or the conditions on the conditions on the plane of fire for example, are pathfinder open content.

I know that the planes and their conditions were included on the 3.5 SRD but I can only see a more general section in the PRD.

Many Thanks in advance.

Hi all,

I'm looking for some advice or suggestions for a improvised weapons build.

Looking at a fairly low level campaign (1-10) with a low point buy.

Ideas?

Shadow Lodge

Is the currently any rules for dealing with mobs (of the pitchfork and torch variety)? If so where can they be found?

I just wanted to see if there was anything already about before I wrote something up to deal with it in my game.

Shadow Lodge

Can any one suggest a good excel sheet, program, wiki or other doohickey to sort spells by school?

Now I'm not just looking for Wizard/sorcerer spells by school, but all classes. I want to be able to sort lists for each class, for example all conjuration school spells on the ranger spell list.

I know this is a bit of an odd request, but if anyone has a suggestions please pass them along.

Shadow Lodge

I'd say this is pretty much a no, give the wealth of material Paizo generate for they're own setting. But would it be in the realms of possibility that Pazio would acquire the rights to publish material for D&D settings such as Ravenloft or Al-Qadim? (Such as the situation that the swords and sorcery imprint got into with Ravenloft)

Shadow Lodge

Right then some fairly straightforward stuff someone might be able to enlighten me about.

A creature has spell resistance, yet has spell like abilities that it can cast on itself; mage armour, shield or the like. Are these spell like abilities subject to spell resistance if the creature casts them on itself?

The same creature has a passive buffing magical item, a ring of protection +1. Is this subject to spell resistance?

The same creature has a wand and uses a buff, enlarge person on itself from that wand. Is that buff subject to spell resistance?

This is mostly to clarify, but thank you for your time.

Due to the lack of response, I assume no on has a solution.
