Background:

Corwynt is a tall elf, quite fit and extremely agile. Blonde hair like wheat just before reaping falls down his shoulders like a yellow cascade and green eyes decorate his pale features like two emeralds. He can usually be seen wearing winter clothes, a scimitar by his side and a longbow with arrows hung from his back.

Our hero is a scholar by nature, something he combines with his magical studies and some combat training. His social skills are not the best, which doesn't mean he's rude or shy - just that he doesn't like adding superfluous words to an already set matter. Once you have him comfortable, though, he can be kind and tender, and he enjoys a good company - specially with a good glass of wine and some double-meaning jokes, his favourites.

Corwynt was born in Silverymoon around two hundred years ago, son of a city watchman and an arcanist. His parents taught him how to combine both careers, and he grew up happy and healthy, though he felt the urge for investigation strongly enough to leave his home and travel far away. The stories from his childhood about a powerful and ancient elven kingdom in Cormanthor lured him to the Moonsea.

He gathered information about Myth Drannor, and eagerly awaited the moment where he could investigate further - even venture into the ruins himself. Meanwhile, he lived several adventures, from mercenary caravan escort through the Black Road to dungeon delving and even tyrant
dethroning.

Recently, he's heard that the Moonsea Ride is boiling with criminal activities, and a leaflet where the Mistledale is summoning adventurers to deal with it reached his hands. Corwynt decided to head there, as both the feeling of usefulness and the contacts to help his future endeavour seemed worthy prizes to him.

Among all the people he's met during his travels, Corwynt keeps a special place for a chosen few:

Orwen, a low rank officer of the Zhentarim, is a good friend from the time Corwynt almost joined the Keep. His first impression was that the Zhentarim could rule with fairness a land full of despots. Though he found out they were as despotic, if not even more, than anyone else, he also met some men worthy enough to call friends. Orwen was one of them, a guy who realised where he was into but stood there in order to "make the world a bit better". Nowadays, Orwen is almost retired, but still has some time to write some words to his old friend every now and then.

Azarra, a half-elf who was involved in the liberation of Phlan years ago. She handles out interesting information to Corwynt regarding jobs that, as an adventurer, help him lend a hand to those in need while earning him nice rewards like contacts, information or even some magical valuables. Azarra is secretly a Harper agent, and uses her arts to "drive" the elf to where she feels he's useful. She's actually the one who made the leaflet reach his hands.

Corwynt usually travels all around the zone, but when he needs to rest for some time he goes to The Swaying Bough, an inn in Elventree. There he feels safe and closer to the place he dreams on exploring one day.
