Top card of the blessing's deck, BotElements. Display Canteen.
Cogsnap Once again finds himself with his Gnomish Sorcerous companion. "I still haven't forgiven you for that business with stealing the Bee-People's eggs," he says nonchalantly as they wander the Sulphur pits. "But I guess this is the more pressing issue. Let's see where this area leads."

Explore-Spellsword +2

"Huh, looks like a magic sword, let's see if I can figure it out."
Arcane 11 vs. 1d10+2(Int)+1(arcane skill): 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Failure
"Huh, Can't figure out the enchantment on this. Might be cursed, better not risk it." he says as he continues down the area. He remembers to get out his Pet ooze to lead the way.

Banish discard Crystaline carnivore to go again, +die to combat checks. Additional explore-Blessing of Ra. Cannot acquire.

Cogsnap lets his pet ooze lead the way, and it crashes along. Unbeknownst to either gnome, it destroys a symbol of Ra on its rampage.

banishPut Twitch tonic into canteen to draw Crystaline Carnivore into hand, banish discard him him to explore again.-Enchanter. UGH
The carnivore continues to romp along and finds itself face-to-face with an enemy wizard, who fires off a spell!

BYA 1 force damage, Blessing of the elements. Then throw Galvanic Kopis at the enchanter.

Recharge Acid flask for item from power-Bottled lightning and something (no other alchemical items in random items deck. I'll choose bottled ligning)
As the dagger and ooze murder the snot out of the aspis sorcerer, she deals one final firey curse to Cogsnap.
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3Curse of Vulnerability

Start of turn-Blessing of Horus

Cogsnap looks around and sees that the vault is closed as Drago Runs through and doesn't bother unsticking him from the trap
Steel Scorpion can only be removed at the end of my turn. So sadly have to skip it.

start of turn, Hour of Pharasma. Choose not to attempt to remove the scorpion. Initial explore-Blessing of the lady of the graves.
Cogsnap notices that there is a holy symbol laying on the floor a bit of the way away from him. He realizes he is too far away to reach it.

A weird outsider comes up to Cogsnap as he is pinned to the floor of the vault.
”Look, I’m sorry I outsmarted your teleportation trap, but leave me alone!” the gnome shouts as he throws his chakrum.

Start of turn, Wadjet O'clock
Cogsnap suddenly jerks awake. Apparantly, his fever dream hadn't been as bad as he thought, and his eyesight is fine now. Also, it looks like this chamber is quiet, so he decides to start wondering about, eventually coming face to face with a vault door vomiting poison gas.
Move to Guardian Vault. Take 2 poison damage (ALchemist's shield and pure holy water). Explore-Burgaler's Bracers.

Coughing and sputtering, he steps forward and then falls forward. He finds on a skeleton, some burgaler's bracers still on its arm. He picks them up. 1d8+3(dex)+3(disable) means I can't fail.
"Okay, here boy, try and find us a way out. . . ." he coughs as he pours out his Crystaline Carnivore and bids the 'doggy' to explore.
Recharge Crystaline carnivore to explore, adding 1 to combat checks-Steel Scorpion.
Cogsnap notices a scorpion coming to get him just as the magics of the vault try to start teleporting him away. Thinking quickly he grabs the scorpion and jabs it into his leg, pegging him to the floor. The vault can no longer distinguish which is gnome and which is vault and cannot teleport him away.
Choose to fail the check. Take 1d4 damage. Scorpion prevents end of turn moving.
1d4 ⇒ 4
Use Steel Ibis Armor. WOuld banish to reduce damage by 5, but can attempt craft 9 to recharge instead. Recharge Burgaler's Bracers to add to craft check: 1d10+2(int)+2(craft skill)+1d8(Burglar's Bracers): 1d10 + 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (9) + (7) + 4 = 20
Examine top 2d4 cards: 2d4 ⇒ (1, 3) = 4
Card 1-Tar Tomb Barrier 1
Card 2-Smite Abomination
Card 3-Ghoul
Card 4-Sightless Starvation Barrier 2

Encounter Sightless Starvation. DAMN that is a TERRIBLE barrier! Guess I'll do Int first. Recharge Blessing of the elements because trap has poison trait.
Int 12 vs. 1d10+2(int)+1d10(blessing): 2d10 + 2 ⇒ (8, 6) + 2 = 16

It seems the vault is angry with Cogsnap's clever plan of evading the teleportation effect, and so begins sending curses his way! The first Cogsnap manages to outwit.
Use Estra's Blessing of lady of graves as this has the undead trait.
Charisma 12 vs. 1d6(charisma)+2d6(blessing):
3d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 4) = 11
Recharge Cleric of Nethys to succeed! WHEW! Barrier Banished.
A second curse comes flying at him, testing his raw force of personality. For a moment Cogsnap is fearful, but with his loyal cleric assistant, and maybe a distant prayer from Estra, he manages to stave it off.
END TURN, reset hand.
TL;DR: I used Estra's Blessing of the Lady of Graves. I am at the guardian Vault with a steel scorpion stuck in my leg so I won't be moved. Card 6 (Sightless Starvation) banished. Examined 2 barriers so did not close this round.

Start of my turn, blessing of Bastet. Next: Move to garden of symmetry

Cogsnap, psyching himself up for the insane troll logic that the alter of Riddles had prepared this time, finds it rather anticlimactic when Extra expends all her magic and make the thing inactive. Seeing nothing better to do, he wonders off to keep trying to find a way down, an encounters a room with a zen garden.

Explore-Evil Eye
An ominous eye is drawn into the sand.
Use Blessing of the elements and arcane to encounter.
Arcane 6+(2*adv deck #)16 vs. 1d10+2(int)+1(arcane skill)+1d10(blessing): 2d10 + 3 ⇒ (3, 3) + 3 = 9
sigh, fail, I'll burn my reroll because otherwise this is gonna get stupid
1d10 + 3 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 + 3 = 10
I hate this. Fine, recharge one card. Recharge remove curse to get rid of whatever curse I would have drawn. End of turn, examine cards and all the triggers.
2d4 ⇒ (4, 3) = 7
Well, I'm screwed. Sense deck was shuffled because I failed that check, here barrier is re-burried I'm gonna have to roll randomly for each examine.

1d11 ⇒ 2Alchemist's suit
1d11 ⇒ 9Icy Longspear

Scourge die because this is fun: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Curse of blindness. GREAT.

Cogsnap's efforts to counter the evil sign are laughable and he is struck blind. He begins flailing about the room comically as he tries to figure out what to do, banging into all manor of shields and weapons and other items.

Actually, you know what? I’ll trade in my newly acquired Kopis+2 for the pure holy water. It does not have the attack trait and it is super good against outsiders and undead, and we seem to run into a lot of them.

Start of turn: Blessing of lady of the graves. Display and bury Alchemist's kit to get Crystaline Carnivore and Acid Flask back into hand. Explore-Pharoh's Alter

Tired and trained, but no longer poisoned, Cogsnap tries to make sense of what's going on around him. He happens upon an alter. Knowing many such alters are trapped, Cogsnap gets to work.
Disable 12 vs. 1d10+3(dex)+3(disable): 1d10 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Recharge Stained glass elemental to increase by 1+adv deck number (6) to succeed. Choose boon-Draw a Tier 5 boon from the box (Blessing of the lady of Graves is the only one in MM right?-Discard Crystaline Carnivore to explore again.

Cogsnap manages to disarm the trap and is rewarded with a quite nice holy symbol of pharasma for his troubles. He pours his crystalline ooze creature out and asks it to scout ahead for him.
Explore again-Brainstorm
The 'ooze' starts barking and Cogsnap rounds the corner to find a . . . thing. Cogsnap chooses to throw some acid at it to be safe.
I'll use that blessing I just got, pour acid into canteen.
combat 17 vs. 1d10+3(dex)+2d6(acid)+1d6+3(power)+1(skill)+2d10(blessing vs. undead)+2d6(crystal carnivore): 3d10 + 3d6 + 6 + 2d6 ⇒ (2, 8, 6) + (5, 4, 6) + 6 + (3, 4) = 44
Destroy the undead swarm. Sadly nothing I want to recharge for an item, so I'll pour my twitch tonic into my canteen to get back my crystalline carnivore, then bury that to get back my tonic, my acid, and my holy water. Make my Carnivore explore again-Shira. Lini and I have the same number of cards, so I face it.

Continuing along with his 'dog' Cogsnap finds a giant outsider creature! He resolves that holy water is the solution.
BYA wisdom: 1d6 ⇒ 2
Bury twitch tonic
Combat 19 vs. 1d10+3(dex)+1(ranged skill)+2d12(pure holy water)+1d6+2(power)+2d6(carnivore): 1d10 + 3d6 + 2d12 + 6 ⇒ (7) + (1, 2, 2) + (2, 8) + 6 = 28

Good to see Estra is continuing her trend of giving me damage at the start of my turn, although this time I have a miniscule chance to avoid it :P
Start of turn: Blessing of the ancients. Attempt wisdom check for insanity mist. Using create mindscape. Using Blessing of the elements since I'd probably take damage anyway, and at least this way I have a chance to shut it down for others.

Wisdom 10 vs. 1d6(wisdom)+1d4(mindscape)+1d6(blessing): 2d6 + 1d4 ⇒ (1, 3) + (4) = 8
Nope. Take 2 poison damage. Elemental treaty reduces to 1 (Cauterizing blade). Since damage is reduced I don't get cursed.
Cogsnap continues choking on the insanity mist, his mind so woozy he can't think up the proper counter to it.

Start of turn, display canteen. Explore-Earth Ossumental.
Stumbling around, desperate to find some air, Cogsnap runs into a huge undead earth elemental
Okay, everyone pause for the creature to do 1d4 acid damage to you! HURRAY! UGH
Dex 13 vs. 1d10+3(dex): 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
acid damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2
Reduce damage by 1 for elemental treaty, Discard Acid flask to damage. Put Pure Holy Water into canteen to throw at the undead.
Combat 19 vs. 1d10+3(dex)+1(ranged)+2d12(pure holy water)+1d6+2(power): 1d10 + 2d12 + 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (4) + (9, 10) + (4) + 6 = 33
Still delirious, and now showered with acid, Cogsnap manages to barely have the presence of mind to grab the condensed holy water from his bag and just lets go of it. It splashes on the monster's foot, melting it as Cogsnap collapses into a heap on the floor.
End turn, reset hand, WELL THAT SUCKED.
IMPORTANT, ESTRA AND LINI TAKE 1D4 ACID DAMAGE FROM THE MONSTER. ALSO DISCARD TWO CARDS FOR COGSNAP TAKING TWO DAMAGE FROM ALL RELEVANT LOCATIONS. UGH. UGH AGAIN.

Silly question about the "When you would shuffle a bane into a location deck, shuffle it into the siege deck instead." scenario rule.

If the Siege Deck has a Rolling Sphere barrier, won't that make this scenario unwinnable?

Rolling Sphere wrote:

If you fail the check to defeat, bury your hand. If you succeed, after the encounter, you may immediately explore your location.
After you act, shuffle this card into a random other open location deck; the Rolling Sphere is defeated.
(Asking as someone whose IRL party, which lacked a way to add Fire or Acid, awkwardly found a Troll three cards from the bottom of the location in Core 2-2.)

My party ran into that with normal Mummy’s mask last Sunday.

Start of turn-Blessing of Ra O'clock

Cogsnap looks around at the combined army of Divs, sphinx, and aspis barreling down on the party.

"Listen, we just want to study the ancient pyramid for historical-" his voice is cut off by an attack from Explore-Disciple of the Forgotten Pharaoh A Forgotten Pharaoh cultist leader.
Banishdiscard Crystalline Carnivore to ignore Disciple's BYA power of summoning a cultist.
The disciple sneers and directs one of his minions to attack the team, but then Cogsnap's Crystalline pet comes out of nowhere to maul the cultist, just leaving the disciple left.

"Why does this have to be difficult? WE ARE SCHOLARS!" Cogsnap says angrily as he throws a bottle of liquid ice at the Disciple

recharge Alchemist's shield to draw random alchemical/liquid item from the box-Pure Holy Water.
The bottle of liquid ice freezes the cultist in place. Cogsnap just turns to Estra and Lini. "We just want do do some archaeology, things shouldn't be this difficult, right?"
Unfortunately, I only drew one combat item in my starting hand and had to use it, so I really don't want to explore again and just hope I fight an undead. I know we need to do multiple explores, but I don't think it'd be wise for me to do it now. I'll have to reset my hand.

Before start of turn-Recharge Crystaline Carnivore, BotE-Alpha from sandstorms.
Start of turn- Top of blessings deck-BotElements. Move to Earthworks, Recharge Cleric of Nethys from move. Bury Canteen to draw Acid flask back into hand so I can at least combat something. Explore-Agash

Cogsnap, for the third time, unburries his head from the sand and with a resigned sigh continues moving on to where he might do some good. He moves to the earthworks, which is somehow also on fire despite being MADE FROM STONE. While doing so he empties the contents of his magical canteen into a flask, the sludge making a servicable acid. Just as he's done doing this, he looks up and spots another Agash.

"Ugh, can we not?" he asks sarcastically as the outsider rushes upon him. Resigned to his fate, Cogsnap throws the acid at the outsider.

Recharge acid flask for combat. Recharge botElements for combat check.

Defeated. I wanna keep what is left in my hand, so no recharge for item. We already got a level 5 item anyway. And pretty sure I'm the only one who picks up items on the reg. Also can't close because of conflagration, can't explore further because I have no hand. End turn.

The creature blurbles into a pile of sludge as the acid melts her. Cogsnap sighs as the firestorm burns his way, and puts on his fire-reducing armor once again.

check top deck of blessings-Of the Ancients, no sandstorm, ancients sent to bottom. Reveal Steel Ibis armor to reduce fire damage by 3, curse the gods, end my turn.

Wow, it's been a while. Okay, see what I can do. Recharge smokestick due to forced movement. Start of turn- Blessing of Thoth off top of blessings deck. Recharge Removed curse to get rid of Estra's Curse of poisoning. Then I'll move to Howling sands, Recharge Cauterising dagger for movement. Then explore.

Cogsnap once again un-burries his hand from the sand and sighs a heavy sigh before trekking across the desert again. In his travels he sees Estra looking rather green and throws an infusion of remove-curse her way without saying anything. As he gets to the howling sands, which are somehow ON FIRE, he just sighs and gets to work, looking for the source of the disturbance. Then some sort of weird extraplanar thing rushes up to attack him.

Cogsnap sighs and tosses a bottle of liquid ice at the creature, which freezes solid. As the fire rages on, the little gnome puts on his Steel Ibis armor which is enchanted to reduce heat and goes about looking for the source of the blaze.

Reveal Steel ibis armor to reduce fire damage to 0. Examine top card of blessings deck-Abdar. Sent to the bottom. Reset hand.

OH GOD< WHY DID I CHOOSE ITEMS?

Items 1-18, Alchemist class deck items (1-4 tier, in order by tier, then alphabet)
Items 19-30 Ultimate magic class deck, 1-4 tier, in order by tier, then alphabet.

3d30 ⇒ (14, 2, 12) = 28
Bladeguard, Deliquescent Gloves, Potion of focus, bah, take none of them. THAT was worth my time . . .

For my card feat I'll take Blessing and add another Blessing of the Elements to my deck (I know I can take a higher one, but Elements are SOOOOO GOOD for me!)

I could concevably upgrade my deathtrap in a jar to Crystalized Carnivore, but honestly it isn't a big deal.

Ally 4: 1d1 ⇒ 1

Quick note, we did not get my potion of Energy Resist, as I had to banish it to throw like a grenade (specifically, if I use that power I can banish another card OR discard OR recharge.) Not a big deal, since it is a B

Storm banished! Initial explore-Elder Effretti

”Little mortals! You have become my slaves in my-“
”No thank you!” shouts Cogsnap as he rushes past, throwing a potion of fire resistance that he has ‘modified’ at the genie.
Banish potion of fire resist instead of Acid flask

Ha! Beat him by less than 4, obelisk doesn’t trigger. For beating genie I get one random card type-Blessing-Blessing of the ancients (poo). I’ll recharge my Blessing of the ancients to draw a random liquid/alchemical item-Khol of uncanny discernment. the Genie melts into slag as the toxic brew hits him, items flying from his hand, a jar and a holy symbol. Cogsnap catches both as he runs on.

Start of Cogsnaps turn: Pharasma O'clock
Lightning storm: 1d4 ⇒ 1
Once again, Cogsnap takes 1 damage from something Estra did on her turn . . . :P. I'll discard Twitch tonic to damage (I can get it back later) and the lighning storm moves to-1d4 ⇒ 4 Scorched Obilesk

A Cogsnap and the crew flee the behemoth, a lightning storm brews overhead and Zaps Cogsnap.

"I-What-HOW IS THERE LIGHTNING INSIDE THIS PLACE?!" Cogsnap yells as he runs on.
First explore-BotElements.
Dex 6 vs. 1d10+3(dex): 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
Acquired. Even roll, so no recharge.
"Wait, no, I got it, if the covalent bonds of the-y'know, I'll explain it later."Cocsnap says as he's seems to become blessed by the elements to understand why there is a lightning storm indoors.
Discard Blessing to explore again-Armor of the Sands
Arcane 8 vs. 1d10+1(int)+1(Arcane skill): 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Fail, and odd roll, so recharge my other blessing.
As they are running along, Cogsnap thinks he sees some armor, but on closer inspection, it just appears to be some sand that is in a kind of armor-shaped heap.
Sadly, no other way to explore, so end turn.
End of turn-Reveal 1d4 cards 1d4 ⇒ 3
Last 3 cards, Warrior Dolls, Striking Wing, Bone lamallar.
I'll put Striking Wing back, and reveal my Alchemist's shield to reduce the combat damage to zero. Banish the other two cards.

Estra's Turn-I reveal Alchemist's Shield and recharge Alchemist's fire to reduce fire damage to 0
Start of turn-Wadget O'Clock. Move to Mumia Lab-Explore
VILLAIN!

Cogsnap continues looking around trying to find a way to face the giantess, but turning a corner, accidentally runs into her!

"You, little one, DIE!" she shouts, and hucks some rocks at him.[/b]

Assuming Alchemical Labratory is closed:

BYA Dex Check: DC 12 vs. 1d10+3(dex): 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
1d6 combat damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2
Reveal Alchemist's shield to reduce by 2-no damage
Cogsnap is unable to get out of the way in time, but hides behind his shield, which takes all of the damage and leaves him unscathed. He then brandishes a flask.
"Acid? You think to hurt me with ACID?" she bellows, chuckling. "I'm largely immune."
Throw Alkali Flask. As per rules of the Alkali flask, I can discard another card (Galvanic Chakrum +1) to add my craft skill. I'll also add the Blessing of Alkenstar for a d12.
Combat 25 vs. 1d10+3(dex)+1(ranged skill)+1d6(power)+3d6(Alkali flask)+1d10+1(Int)+2(craft skill)+1d12(blessing): 2d10 + 4d6 + 1d12 + 7 - 7 ⇒ (8, 8) + (5, 6, 5, 4) + (3) + 7 - 7 = 39
Cogsnap just smiles in response. "This isn't acid, it's a base. Kinda the opposite of an acid, really. Still really bad for organic stuff." he says as he chucks the vial. The giantess's smile evaporates as the concoction hits her in the face and she begins to scream in agony.
"Huh, wasn't actually sure that would work." Cogsnap muses to himself.
Recharge Liquid Ice to draw a random liquid/alchemical item from the box-GM, I WILL NEED AN ITEM AS NONE OF THE FIVE LISTED ARE VALID ITEMS FOR ME TO DRAW.

Waiting to see what happens with temp close.

Before Start of Turn-Discard Blessing of Ra to Cold damage. (I don't think I get cursed for cold damage, right?) Then top of blessings deck says it's Nethys O'Clock. I guess I'll go to the silver forge?
Realizing that there's nothing in this supposed 'vault' that can fight a giant extradimensinal giantess who's also a compulsive liar, Cogsnap defaults to doing what he knows how to do. he runs over to the Silver Forge to see if he can craft something.
Explore-Djinni Quarterstaff. I'll use my Arcane Skill Cogsnap sees the beginnings of a silver-tipped quarterstaff meant to evoke the likeness of the kind Djinni use, and decides it might work in a pinch.
Arcane 8 vs. 1d10+1(int)+1(arcane skill): 1d10 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Unfortunately, the ravages of time have taken a toll on the half-finished staff and Cogsnap cannot repair the damage.
BanishRecharge deathtrap-in-a-jar to explore again, add 1 die to all disable checks
Pouring out his 'friendly' ooze, Cogsnap has it scout around to see if there is anything else of value here.
Explore Again-Black Kiss (Ally 1). I really don't want to take poison damage and be cursed, so I am Stealing Taking sign of the newlyweds as damages for all the pain Estra has shunted off on me :P.Using Craft
Cogsnap comes across another Alchemist hiding in a broom cupboard.
Craft 10 vs. 1d10+1(int)+2(craft skill)+1d10(sign of the newlyweds): 2d10 + 2 ⇒ (9, 1) + 2 = 12
At first it looked like the alchemist would through poison at Cogsnap, but then the gnome noticed the fine make of the poison, and the two quickly began to 'talk shop.' As they did, the Alchemist came out and . . .
Discard Black Kiss to explore Again-Mystic Silk Coat. That's actually nice armor but sadly I cannot acquire. I'll let it get banished.
showed Cogsnap a magic set of silken armor he found. Cogsnap liked it but sadly, it was not his size, so he let the alchemist keep it.
Finished exploring and end turn. I USED ESTRA'S SIGN OF THE NEWLYWEDS

Start of turn, Blessing of Isis O'clock. Display Canteen.
Since I'm starting at the Alter of Riddles, I'll choose blessing as it is the most common boon. Examine-Blessing of Maat! Hey, I got one! Draw it into hand.

After managing to dodge away from the Giantess, Cogsnap manages to find himself BACK in the chamber of riddles.
"Oh, great" he says rolling his eyes as a riddle forms on the alter.
What is the strongest power in the world?
"I am so surprised that's the riddle . . . Cogsnap says, exasperated and sarcastic. "I dunno-Feeling hashtagBlessed by friendship." he says.
Correct, the answer is friendship. the alter spells out before a compartment in the side of the alter opens and a holy symbol of Maat pops out, clearly indicating the answer was supposed to be 'religion' or 'faith,' or something.
"Huh . . ." muses Cogsnap as he pockets the item. "Well, time to see if there is anything here that'll help me fight a giant evil extraplanar lying giantess . . ." he says to himself as he starts looking around the chamber.
Explore- Mace of Ruin
Cogsnap finds an abandoned mace lying in the corner. It's huge and looks like it could be used to knock down walls. He gives one attempt at heaving it but immediately realizes he doesn't have the strength for it.
Well, I cannot Make the check so it's automatically banished. Realizing that he cannot make use of the massive mace, Cogsnap gives up and takes a break, seeing as the Giantess seems to have not pursued him into this particular chamber for the time being.

End Turn, reset hand.

Fail, soul stimulant banished
Unfortunately, the ingredients in the lab are too badly degraded to be of any use.
banish Recharge twitch tonic to draw deathtrap ooze from my Discard and explore again, add 1d6 to disable checks.-Elemental Mastery
While looking around the lab, Cogsnap finds a scroll.
Arcane 11 vs 1d10(int)+1(Arcane): 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
”Stupid thing, I don’t do spells. Not really. . .” mutters Cogsnap.
Fail, banished. Bury Alchemist’s kit to get Deathtrap in a jar back AGAIN, recharge him this time to explore AGAIN, still adding a d6 to Disable checks.-Alchemical Gas.
Ooh boy, Qualzar and I are going to take damage
disable 7 vs 1d10+3(dex)+3(disable)+1d10(+1 die to disable, deathtrap ooze: 2d10 + 6 ⇒ (9, 1) + 6 = 16
Due to beating the bane by more than 4, Qualzar and I both take Acid damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3
Elemental treaty reduces by 1, recharge bone lamallar to reduce damage to zero. Second law ALSO triggers. Banish Alchemist’s shield as I can get it back at the end of the scenario. QuaLzar has to either banish a card or encounter voices of the spire. Second law banished. UGH. Draw up and end turn.

Start of turn-Blessing of the ancients. Choose not to move, explore-The second law.
Cogsnap gets to work at the Silver Forge, seeing if he can craft something. However as he sets himself up, a large minella envelope appears on the anvil. Curiously, Cogsnap opens it up to find a boatload of OSHA compliance paperwork he has to fill out.
”Oh, COME ON!” he shouts.
SECOND LAW defeated and displayed.
After finishing his paperwork, Cogsnap drops his mechanical spy on the ground and instructs it to find any more magical traps.
Display clockwork spy-examine top card-Bone Lamallar. Encounter
Having finished his paperwork, Cogsnap eagerly starts working the silver forge.

Unfortunately, Cogsnap is out of practice and doesn’t make anything of note.
End of turn-Discard spider venom to draw an extra card.

Start of turn, BoElements on top. Choose weapon as the type of boon for alter of riddles. Examine the top card-Dry Quicksand.
"Honestly Estra, how was I supposed to know we were supposed to play nice? You can't just shout "Undead" and expect me not to fight them . . . we fight like, nine out of every ten undead we encounter. Well, eight out of ten at least. . . . maybe seven." the gnome continues talking as he goes up to the alter.

Written on the alter is the next riddle:
What's wet and dry Takes you low Moves real fast And kills you slow ?

"I . . . hmmm, tough riddle. Wet and dry, moves fast and kills slow. I mean, I guess a poison dagger?"

As he says this writing appears on the scroll.

"Oh, Oh quicksand! Oh Estra, the answer was quicksand! Oh, I'm a dummy. Listen, I saw a Silver forge back there, I'm gonna go check it out. Probably be more of use over there. Tell me how the riddles go!"

Move step-move to the Silver forge- Explore: Gnoll Veteran
As Cogsnap moves towards the Silver Forge, he sees a Gnoll smith working it. Cogsnap sighs and draws his Liquid ice. Then remembering Estra's lesson, he raises his other hand.
"Hi Mister Gnoll, would you mind if I took a look ar-oh, no, you're charging me with your Halberd, okay."
BanishRecharge Liquid ice for combat check.
Combat 9+adv deck #=13 vs. 1d10+3(dex)+1(ranged combat skill)+1d6(power)+2d8(Liquid Ice): 1d10 + 4 + 1d6 + 2d8 ⇒ (8) + 4 + (3) + (3, 1) = 19
The Gnoll howls in pain from the liquid ice and falls over, dead on the ground. Cogsnap shakes his head and continues on to the forge.
"Make friends with ghosts, kill gnolls . . . how's a gnome to keep it all straight?" He then reaches what the gnoll was working on.
Recharge blessing of the elements to draw an item with liquid or poison trait from deck-Ugh, Black Marsh Spider Venom . Item 2 at least.
Cogsnap moseys up to the workbench that the Gnoll had occupied and looks at the vial and the notes around it.
"Ugh, Black Marsh Spider Venom? Oh come on, you are in a silver forge and you make some spider poison? What is the world coming to?"

I could explore again, but I have no more combat cards, so I'll end my turn here. Sorry, only one explore and one examine.

Cogsnap finally runs up to the alter, huffing and puffing.
"Sorry I was late, got turned around-" he starts to explain to Estra, but the old human turns around.

"Look out you fool, undead!" she shouts, and Cogsnap whirls about to see several ghostly undead emerge from the walls, bearing incorporeal shackles.

Without skipping a beat, Cogsnap's flask of alchemist's acid is suddenly in the air and somehow splashes a ghost.
BanishRecharge Acid flask to defeat a barrier using disable
Diplomacy Disable 8 vs. 1d10+3(dex)+3(disable)+2d6(acid flask): 1d10 + 6 + 2d6 ⇒ (7) + 6 + (5, 4) = 22

The acid somehow melts the undead ghost.

"You were supposed to reason with them . . ." Estra says with a sigh, slapping her hand to her face.

"Oh, uh . . . sorry." is Cogsnap's only reply.
