(this is just an example character)

Charmaine will take the ring seeing as Alphonse seems a bit tougher than her. ;)

Music?Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

Initiative: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

hearing the warning of the undead, Charmaine tries to hide any outward sign of fear, she raises her long sword up with both hands ready to stike anything that come towards her and moves up behind the front members of the group

i would have been just behind the front of the pack as we walked along before combat started

well i dont have any blessings or spells left so i vote we rest. then go to the cemetery and kill some skellies then hopefully level up, and then go face this necromancer

well whom ever you choose to post as can you include your character alias in the post so i know, thanks to those that have already done this :)

yes and we should still use our character alias' while in the discussion forums so we know who's who.

Charmaine studies the group around her quietly, looking at the odd bunch of adventures speaking several different languages and hailing from many foreign lands.

It would seem that i am not alone in being called here by god to help fight this evil, even if we do not all worship the same powers it is clear they have called us all into action,

could i suggest we found out all we can from Father Renaud about this necromancer and then rest and regroup on the morrow at the cemetery, i believe where there is undead we will find a necromancer

Female Human Warpriest 1, [HP 9/9] [AC 17] [T 10] [FF 17] [Init +1] [Perception +4] [CMD 13] [Diplomacy +6] [Heal +8] [Sense Motive +8]

Reflex: 1d20 ⇒ 19

Charmaine calls out to the lord to give her the strength to fight this evil as she does that her sword burst into golden flames.

i'll use my last blessing to cast holy strike on my long sword

Holy Strike:
You can touch one weapon and bless it with the power of purity and goodness. For 1 minute, this weapon glows green, white, or yellow-gold and deals an additional 1d6 points of damage against evil creatures. During this time, it's treated as good for the purposes of overcoming damage reduction. This additional damage doesn't stack with the additional damage from the holy weapon special ability.

Smite thy evil, i am a conduit of good

Charmaine moves to the closest goblin menacingly as the golden flames dance around her sword and illuminate her face. Her hands tighten around the hilt of her long sword as she readies to strike.

Charmaine thanks the Acolyte and holsters the Morning star, as she must use her long sword as it was given to her divinely.

double move to get in melee range of the gremlins

Round 6

One done, two to go, the bard thinks as he knocks another arrow and fires at the next gremlin.

I move only if I have to stay within the shortbows range to hit a target not in melee.

[dice=Shortbow]1d20+4
[dice=Damage+AS]1d6+1 0_0 whoops. Um. Because Paizo saves rolls I think I'll just try again that way I can't plan for these accidentally. This is what happens when you mess up an end tag.

[dice=Shortbow]1d20+4
[dice=Damage+AS]1d6+1

You forgot the +1 to hit from Bless, so it should have been 16 vs AC

Female Human Warpriest 1, [HP 9/9] [AC 17] [T 10] [FF 17] [Init +1] [Perception +4] [CMD 13] [Diplomacy +6] [Heal +8] [Sense Motive +8]

Round 6

Charmaine holds her sword high as she charges forth up the stairs to join he companions in battle

double move to get near the nearest group of gremlins

I hope this works, these things are just like those rabid dogs i fought on the road to Paris, and i was fine against those, yes! come on Charmaine you can do this, be brave your lord needs you

Female Human Warpriest 1, [HP 9/9] [AC 17] [T 10] [FF 17] [Init +1] [Perception +4] [CMD 13] [Diplomacy +6] [Heal +8] [Sense Motive +8]

for my forth round action i double move up the stairs to get as close to the rest of the party as possible

Charmaine hears the sounds of bolts flying and gremlins squealing and rushes to join the others.

for my fifth round once its gets to my turn i am going to cast Bless if i am in range of all or most of the group otherwise i will move again before casting

Charmaine closes her eyes and says a prayer as she draws on her own divine energy to protect her allies.

Mother Mary watch over us and guide us to safety and help us combat this evil before us

Divine energy radiates in a 50ft burst our from Charmaine as she blesses them.

Bless:

Range 50 ft.

Duration 1 min./level

Bless fills your allies with courage. Each ally gains a +1 morale bonus on attack rolls and on saving throws against fear effects.

everyone in 50ft receives +1 to attack and +1 to saves against fear for 1 min

also i should point out that i still have glorious presence in effect on my for 5 more rounds

Female Human Warpriest 1, [HP 9/9] [AC 17] [T 10] [FF 17] [Init +1] [Perception +4] [CMD 13] [Diplomacy +6] [Heal +8] [Sense Motive +8]

Can I get an idea of positioning, like where everyone is and how far away they are ect from the gm please.

So for example if I am at the entry to the belfry how far is it in feet to the stairs and then how far up is the furtherest player?

I want to know if I could move 30ft towards and up the stairs an be with in a 50ft radius of my furtherest ally.

as a standard action I cast CLW on the priest

CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

as a move action I try and drag the father away from further danger with alphonse's help

Charmaine leans over the father and touches his for head

"lord please heal your most holy follower so that he may continue your work"

A wave of healing energy pulses from Charmaine's hand

"can you walk father? Let us help you to move out of danger"

Charmaine moves to Father Renaud

Father let me look at your wounds

Free Action - drop pole

Move action - Move to Priest

Standard action - Attempt heal check to stabilise the priest

Heal Check: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23

Question; Who else can heal in this party, dont we have 2 Druids and a Pally?

I'm just asking as my character is not set up to be a dedicated healer, already i have burned through both my level 1 spells just to cast CLW and i only have a couple of scrolls left.

I know it kind of works for flavour that we kind of dont know each person's role yet, as our characters work it out as they go, but i just want to get an idea if there are any other healers at all?

On my second round i'll try and wedge the bar under the bell and use it as a leaver to lift the bell

Strength Check: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20

as im usually asleep when most of you are posting ill just put in my potential action

Charmaine prays for protection.

"lord grant me strength so that I might aid your follower, and protect me from evil. Amen"

standard action - spend a blessing to cast Glorious Presence (aka Sanctuary) on my self. Dc 14 will save IF/WHEN any gremlin trys to attack me for 1 min

Free action - let go of the bell

Move action - pick up the iron bar

Thanks i have updated my stat block in my profile

Also Tyr if you see this before the hour has passed you posted in gameplay as the wrong character :)

also the GM said we are all inside

Speaking of changing stats i just noticed that i used a 20 point buy instead of 25 points, I'm to used to playing PFS.

Is it ok for me to update my stats, it shouldn't affect anything that is happened so far.

Edit: Assuming its ok im just going to bump my wisdom to 18, the only thing that changes is the DC for the save of my blessing before would be 14 so 2 of the gargoyles would have failed, but as i was allowed to move before they could attack again, there is no change in the game play

Charmaine notices 2 of her companions injured as she enters the Cathedral.

Tevaga please may i inspect your wounds?

Charmaine gently touches Tevaga's arm and as she does she says a Prayer;

Lord please protect and heal my friends so that we may do your bidding and rid your most holy house of this taint.

I spontaneously cast CLW on Tevaga using up 1 of 2 level 1 spell slots

CLW on Tevaga: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

Turning to notice Alphonse's grievous wounds Charmaine smiles at Tevaga as she leaves with a look of admiration and gives thanks silently that her prayer was answered.

Touching Alphonse shoulder Charmaine prays again Lord work through me and grant your humble servant the ability carry on your cause

I spontaneously cast CLW on Alphones using up 2 of 2 level 1 spell slots

CLW on Alphonse: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Charmaine smiles at Alphonse with a sheepish smile wishing she could do more to help.

I should also point out that i still have my sword out and that it is radiating bright light for 40ft, each casting of light lasts 20mins in game for me

Tevaga in regards to your last in game post, sanctury only effects me. So even if you were in my square the gargoyles could still attack you

Lord grant me strength and protect me from harm

Charmaine shouts as she looks to the sky and holds the cross around her neck in her hand lifting it up to her face.

I spend a Blessing to cast glorious presence on my self.

For 1 minute, you becomes mesmerizing to your foes. This functions as sanctuary, except if the ally attacks an opponent, this effect ends with respect to only that opponent. This is a mind-affecting effect.

Sanctuary - DC 13 Will Save

Sanctuary:
Any opponent attempting to directly attack the warded creature, even with a targeted spell, must attempt a Will save. If the save succeeds, the opponent can attack normally and is unaffected by that casting of the spell. If the save fails, the opponent can't follow through with the attack, that part of its action is lost, and it can't directly attack the warded creature for the duration of the spell.

Charmaine moves to the fallen acolyte to see if he can be aided.

Heal check to see if he is dead or dying

heal check: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22

Female Human Warpriest 1, [HP 9/9] [AC 17] [T 10] [FF 17] [Init +1] [Perception +4] [CMD 13] [Diplomacy +6] [Heal +8] [Sense Motive +8]

initiative: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13

Hearing the shouts of her companions to stay away from the walls but not seeing any direct threats Charmaine draws her long sword and says a prayer under her breath.

Charmaine casts lights as a spell like ability on her sword.

I know its night time but my query about lighting condition wasnt answered so im assuming its either low light or darkness. Also my feat doubles the radius and duration of light cast on my sword so atm its bright light for a 40ft radius around me

Feeling sheepish at having her feelings read so easily, Charmaine avoids eye contact with Iommi-Tyr as she says;

Her faith is inspiring, I hope to have courage like hers one day....
The way she lead the french troops to break the Siege of Orleans and turned back the English. Surely saving all those lives couldn't be the actions of a Heretic?

Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

What are the lighting conditions at the moment?

Charmaine is taken back by Iommi-Tyr's condemnation of her child hood hero Joan of Arc, while she avoids getting into a heated debate she changes the subject back to Iommi-Tyr himself and his impressive knowledge of Paris.

Well Met as she extends one of her gauntleted hands to greet the half orc as the other hand still rests on the hilt of her longsword.

I am Charmaine, and I will answer the call to defend our lord and his holy Cathedral,

Would you join us at our table? there is another that may be interested in aiding our cause. she gestures to the teifling half way through a deep draw of his ale.

Water for me please good sir

A young a seemingly timid girl answers, Her long brown hair covers her face , her traveling cloak thick with dust from days on the road hides her thick armor. her hand resting on the hilt of her long sword.

My name is Charmaine she blurts out almost as an after thought

I too was called here from powers i do not yet understand, other than to know and trust that it is our lord and savoir, and that he has need of me here

It is troubling, these rumors about of the dead coming back to life, what do you all make of this?

She touches the cross hanging around her neck and says a small prayer in her head for the souls of the dead. as she waits to see what the other strangers around the table have to say

So i havent played a PbP before, can anyone give me the beginners run down please
