Blackness had enveloped Ryan as the heat of battle quickly cooled, while his blood pooled around him. A creeping cold surrounded him, beginning in his fingers and toes and drawing ever closer to his heart. Stealing himself for his final judgement Ryan prepares, wondering to himself if Pharisma will sit in judgement as is her prerogative, or if Abadar would come.

I think too much of myself, probably one of Pharisma's functionaries will read out my judgement his soul thinks with a mental head shake.

Looking towards the unfocused light ahead Ryan feels himself warm and become more comfortable, not just once but twice and again a third time, the last making him feel as if he was resting in a field on a warm spring day. There was even a light flowery smell accompanying the warmth returning to him

Having collected 1 of the boxes of power cells Kris splits it with Retsijii, "That thing has to eat these like Ed eats meat candies."

Coming back in she starts to pull up the information for the container's lock system when Noah2 straight up bypasses it. "Nice trick, gonna have to remember that one."

Entering the Coy Nixie Ryan approaches the barkeep. Oldlaw whiskey, shot glasses and bread a cheese for our table please." Handing over 40gp for the single malt whiskey and glasses, he also passes and additional 3 gp for the bread, cheese and tip.

Walking up to the table he joins the others and places a glass in front of each with a last glass turned over empty. Raising his own glass "I'd like to propose a toast before we start." indicating the empty glass.

"I agree with both of you, if they are toying with us and really wish to attack, they should do so just before we reach the river, out here they have the most maneuverability, but we have the most options out on the lake. They'll likely attack in a way to push us into the river, where their greater speed will allow them to overtake us easily."

"Captain, will we be pulling up along shore tonight, and do you perhaps have some lengths of chain? Thinking if they do pursue us we could foul the rudder or mess up the sails

Meeting up with the others after some sense of normalcy has returned Ryan will broach the subject of Ruben. Raising his glass in a toast to the others
"Friends, we've travelled far from home in the search of safety for our homes and to bring those who were lost back into the fold. Some have remained behind on our travels, but will catch up with us when the day is right, here's to that day."

Dolgrin left his gear back in the kitchen, along with Vhaezil's. but we have a rope so a sling can be made for Lichen should he wish to remain in his current form."

"Wanderer, our gear remains in the kitchen; we have a rope but you'll have to submit to being tied up to pull up.Your call." Dolgrin says to the wolf scratching at the door of the tomb.

Once Zask has secured the rope he climbs up himself either after he has tied the wolf and boosted him upwards

The weighting would be the same however might have to worry about it getting stuck in something. My shield on the other hand is balanced quite well, I've been able to use it to maintain JJ's pretty face here when something else was trying to rearrange it. He has a habit of leaping in before looking." Ryan says with a friendly grin at JJ to remind the ranger he was joking.

Kikinnin saw you posted while I was writing up the post but it was written to be stated earlier in the conversation.

BTW all and Kikinnin specifically, I enjoy the back and forth on the various topics throughout the past 11k+ post this group has put together. Looking forward to more in the future.

Kris doesn't even notice Ed vacate the captain's chair as she knows the Necro craft is lining up a shot to her rear.

Killing the impulse engines, Kris gets hard on the directional thrusters pulling a 180, before accelerating hard, the inertia dampers screaming as cetrifical force pulls hard on those not strapped in.
It almost appears Kris is heading directly at the Necro ship but actually on a parallel vector. Once behind the assassin's ship she repeats her maneuver, giving Retsiji and Ed a shot at the assassin's aft quarter.

Sorry all for the absense, crazy week in RL

Kris ponders the offer of acceptance into the Starfinder Society, picking up the Suit patch she turns it over in her hand and looking up at Councillor Chiskisk.

"Councillor, thank you for your offer, I have no problem representing the society honorably, yet you know my past. Duravor knew my past." Kris says holding up the datapad that once belonged to Duravor. "I'll not hesitate to use deception and my skills to achieve my objectives, but there will also be times I will not cross a line. Knowing my past will you still offer me a contract with the Society?"

Somewhat Thane Krios from Mass Effect - assassin with a conscience. Kris looks at everything in the only way she knows, contracts for services, her past taught her much (skills) but she has to live with what contracts she takes.

"Food and Water will not be a problem, Ruphus taught me a trick that was used of old to solve long trips and rations. Abadar's graces will allow me to create a veritable feast. If somewhat bland, enough food for 25-30 people plus water. However the food will go bad in a day, yet the next day his continued grace will allow me to purify that same food that is beginning to spoil. So while after a bit you might feel were on a steady supply of gruel and hard bread, it will be an endless supply of it. Food and drink will not be a problem. "

Almost nothing would be able to make it impossible without destroying the mansion itself. A good stone mason could finish the wall in the crypt so that it is no longer apparent that a path below remains."
