Chak'Zirrak will happily drink his ration feeling quite pleased on framing Chum that day.
After a bit, Chak'Zirrak will trill a little song to pass the time, lighten the mood a bit, and maybe influence one of the crew on his side and the side of the new crew.

Mermaid Song:
When I was a lad in a fishing town My old man said to me: "You can spend your life, your jolly life Sailing on the sea. You can search the world for pretty girls Til your eyes grow weak and dim, But don't go fishing for a mermaid, son If you don't know how to swim"
'Cause her hair was green as seaweed Her skin was blue and pale I loved that girl with all my heart I only liked the upper part I did not like the tail
So I signed aboard of a whaling ship And my first very day at sea There I spied in the waves, Reaching out for me "Come live with me in the sea said she, Down on the ocean floor And I'll show you many's a wonderous thing That you've never seen before
So over I jumped and she pulled me down, Down to her seaweed bed A pillow made of tortoise-shell She placed beneath my head She fed me shrimp and caviar Upon a silver dish From her head to her waist was just to my taste But the rest of her was a fish
'Cause her hair was green as seaweed Her skin was blue and pale I loved that girl with all my heart I only liked the upper part I did not like the tail
Then one day, she swam away So I sang to the clams and the whales "Oh, how I miss her seagreen hair And the silvery shine of her scales Then her sister, she swam by And set my heart awhirl From her head to her waste was an ugly fish But the rest of her was a girl
'Cause her hair was green as seaweed Her skin was blue and pale I loved that girl with all my heart I did not like the upper part And that's how I got this tale
Chak will talk up Quinn and try to make friends with her, while trying to keep Chum out of it. He will regale her first with a pirate tale to help influence her Per trait.
Not sure how it works, but if the three of us are working without supervision and we know when they will check in on us, Chak will try and use his spellsong feat to disguise first lullaby on Chum then a sleep spell right before our shift ends. Then Chak will take most of Chum's rats giving a good portion to Quinn or having her help me if she is for it. Then hopefully Chum will be asleep. Then use bluff to convince whoever counts our rats that Quinn and I caught the rats while Chum laid around.
Perform for Spellsong - lullaby1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19 (DC 14)
Perform for Spellsong - sleep1d20 + 11 ⇒ (20) + 11 = 31 (DC 15) -2 to Chum's will save if he fails lullaby
Bluff to convince Quinn and I caught the rats 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30 (DC 15)
If taking his rats is not possible, Chak will still try and get Chum in trouble
Chak'Zirrak will join his friends from the fight in the morning, and tell them in a low voice, "Word is that the ones we fought this morning is Scourge's men. As he is the chief disciplinarian we need to be on our toes."
I will ask about the men who confronted today and what their deal is. And try and hint around if there is anything "on the downlow" I can get involved in"
I will use my daily activity to try and influence Badger. He will be charming, tell tales, and try to get some inside information from someone here longer
Chak'Zirrak studies the ship turns to Tate and changes his song slightly. It increases in tempo to a combination of discordant notes that still inspires his friends, yet makes Tate stop in his tracks for a moment, giving his new friends an opening.
Chak'Zirrak will maintain his bardic performance as a free action, step back to H7, then cast daze on Tate. Will DC 14
Chak'Zirrak trills a song bolstering the spirits of his fellow ship friends. (+1 to attack and weapon rolls as well as +1 morale bonus on saving throws against charm and fear effects )
Not sure if the seas sickness spoiler was for everyone but I clicked on it. If Chak is able to notice he will remove the seasickness (uses my perform check for a resave vs seasickness and the like
perform:1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 22
If Chak doesn't know or notice then he won't, and if the seasickness tab is supposed to stay hidden and not viewed I will refrain in the future
"I am good at distraction and tales. I also know a couple songs beyond the one I used on you earlier Raven, one that is soothing and sometimes puts people to sleep, and another song that is soft as a whisper yet I can speak with another someone else. If any of these things can be of use in improving our situation, then count me in."
Seeming not to notice the slight, Chak makes an unusual sound which you take as laughing and says, "If I was the most common of Tengus, we'd both be Ravens of a sort. But I am not of course, my lineage is much exalted over their kind."
Despite the carnage earlier, Cha'Zirrak finishes his dinner promptly. Getting his share of rum, he drinks it quickly making a weird sound while choking. His eyes are a little crossed when he sees Raveneau beckon him over with the others.
"Hello good sir, I hope you are feeling better. By the way I am Chak'Zirrak, traveler extraordinaire!" Chak sticks out his hand to greet while turning his head in a slightly unsettling way.
Chak'Zirrak is overwhelmed by the sight and closes his eyes and keeps them away the gruesome events that unfolding. He is visibly shaken and in no mood for dinner.
Chak'Zirrak's feathers puff out a bit and he stands a little taller. Looking at Atajay he says, "I couldn't let you fall! No sir! The name is Chak'Zirrak, traveler extraordinaire!" Looking around he snaps out of his reverie, "I guess this is another traveling experience."
At Mister Plugg's comments he says, "While I have eaten cooked food and do not mind it, most of the time I'll eat food uncooked. Fruits, berries, seeds are the best though I do love a good snail or centipede." Chak'Zirrak gets a far away look while thinking about some delicacies.
When Chak'Zirrak get down to the deck he'll go over to Raveneau , [b]"OOh that was nasty fall, let me look at that" Chak'Zirrak will start a liitle song, touching his wounds, if he allows it
Well at least someone here is superstitious like I'm used to. May get out of this yet
Chak will look around at his fellow conscriptees and if he notices anyone affected by seasickness and if so will trill a little song to help relieve them.

OK, that's why I wanted to ask right away as it seemed high and it is paired with the bite attack (d3) as well. It was on the Kobold Quarterly stuff on Tengu.
Would d6 be better? Otherwise I will go a different route. (I have a different plan if the claws are a no go)
