Disapointed

2/5

I am alright with buying a case and not getting the full set that is just the way the cookie crumbles but in this set I reserved a number that were broken of their base and a box that only had 2 medium/small in the box. The cost of the products I expect better and more consistent production quality.

The commons in this set also had less versatility in particular the common larges are less multi-use figures then they have been in the past. Paint and figures are constantly good across the board.

I am a big believer in Paizo but this item was disappointing.

Best overal set of figures yet

5/5

Between my gaming crew we probably own around 700 miniatures from different games and sets and this is my favorite set. I have grown accustomed to the figures looking a good step down in quality then the pictures and this is the one set to prove that wrong for the most part. I would say a good 75% look as good if not better than the pictures.

Even the common watchman look a step up from the DnD predecessor for that level of figure. The dwarf and half orc look particularly nice. The rares also kick it up another notch. All the larges are fantastic and feel grand in scale.

However the troll feels undersized compared to the rest. Trolls should be closer to the ogre and minotaur in size. Also the Huge Dragon looks to be one of the most detailed figures I have seen, however he too looks like a large compared to some of the other larges in the set. The elf wizard also looks like a catfolk, and the specter could be a different color. The gnome looks like a leprechaun and looks like another small mold I have seen before.

I bought one case and got all the set as well.
