Already way too invested in Pathfinder to switch. The APs are too stronk and Pathfinder Society will always be where my loyalty lies. To me it is a way better format for playing games, with friends or new people.

The playtest for D&D Next was good but still a far cry from where Dungeons and Dragons needs to be. Will say its way better than 4th, IMO. It was good in its simplicity, but maybe a little too watered down for my taste.

Pathfinder all the way.

Just found Shadow Dodge This now gives our super speed build a stupid high AC if I am understanding the feat correctly.

If only there where a bonus to overrun or bullrush attempts if you move faster than 30' base. But this board is probably the reason why this doesn't happen :)

As long as optimized doesn't mean maximized I agree with most things said. I'm just a little tired of these maximized characters with no flaws who crunch through combat with no real threat. I've been toying around with strong prominent character flaws, like Aboniks said something non-optimal. Again, non-optimal doesn't necessarily mean tank it but I found I enjoy not being the best at everything. Its nice to be able to carry the party but I find it more fun to let people have their strengths and weakness and I having my own.

The 5 roles seem good but don't forget blending roles.

Otherwise I like it. Lastly, dont forget about giving every character, Character! Make them noteworthy :)

Don't know if we agreed that a different race was better. Saw the tiefling fiendish sprinter alt race feature. My original idea was Catfolk with their Sprinter racial trait.

Also not sure if I saw it or not but I think a lot of builds were missing the Run feat. Or is it more economic to do the barbarian rage powers way for x6?

Also to Shfish, I think the assumption when someone posts a topic saying let's break X, the character created typically has no utility, at least in my experience. See the 20th level kobold with AC:81.

Congratulations to Joanna Swiftblade for her mind blowing display and quick facts.

I'd like to see the final say on what the max speed is for a 20th level character? Also what about the turning into a lightning bolt? Or why doesn't the druid turn into a cheetah?

Otherwise very interesting and good times for all :)
